Hope there is an update on this device to allow for proxy setup

Not Recommend to purchase. It's a not good product

My chromecast would never pop up on my device for me to set up my chromecast. I wouldn't recommend this product. Google has some things they need to work out with this streaming player, and there's absolutely no customer service line that you can call if you have questions.

Impression is that you can throw any channel you see on a PC or ipad onto your TV, but it's not so....very few channels are compatible/ have signed up, not even ESPN. Also, the package should have a big sticker that says "you don't need this if you already have a Smart TV."

Installed this on my plasma TV and Dell PC. Watched the first movie it was great. Never worked since and further affected the TV by sound gaps at first, then video gaps and finally the tvTVwent blank. Pulled the Chromecast device from the TV and the TV worked normal again.

While the install is easy and applications like netflix work fine, ANY streaming coming from the internet are absolutely terrible and pixelated and I am pulling 60mb/s

This product does what it says and the price is great! However, i recently bought my parents the Roku stick (about $14 more) and it is way better in my opinion! The chrome cast works very well with my Iphone but surprisingly not so well with my android tablet. It seems to freeze and run slow with the tablet. The Roku is a lot better! It streams right thru the tv without having to use another device and it also comes with a very easy to use remote. I would highly recommend the Roku over this!

Chrome ext & Android youtube app crashes constantly.

there was a few problem in the beginning. Now its ok.

Had problems getting it to work. Had to call help desk twice to get it to work properly. I don't know if its my router or speed of my internet but it didn't work like it should have. I don't have problem watching video on my lap top but had problems streaming to TV.

it takes forever to get to the point of what you want.

I wanted very badly to use/like this product. But the instructions for syncing it with your tablet are unclear and I am not a techie. I could never get it to work for me. SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO disappointed!

Too soon to tell if the item is working as advertised

You can stream ANY video from your Google Chrome browser! Comedy Central .. Check NBC.COM .. Check Silly cat videos .. Check My point is that for something the size of a large key, and something so darn easy to set up; you can't go wrong. I control what shows my 6 year old Grandson watches on the TV in his room with my cell phone.. I play Netflix through my phone on to his television using the Google Chromecast. If you only have 3mb download speeds in your home, the Chromecast might not be for you. If you have a faster connection you will enjoy this product.

Not what they brag it up to be, very limited uses.

Would be better if it cast more than chrome. I thought it would cast my movies through media player or cast anything on my computer screen. Great concept just needs to mirror the computer screen.

Flat out will not render anything but its "Pink screen of death" on my 42" Philips Plasma TV. This tv is older gen (1080i), but still very useable and I don't intend on replacing it anytime soon as it looks great. The Roku stick works fine with my TV.

We bought this hoping to stream movies from my phone to the TV. It only works on the wi-fi network, which is too slow for streaming. My TV and blue ray have built in wi-fi, so this is pointless.

I purchased this and could not connect. I bought it because the salesperson told me it was less expensive than the Ruku, but I ended up exchanging it for the RUKU which worked like a charm
