Honestly its one of the best buys i have made this year so far!! for 35 dlls i cant even buy enough beer to get drunk!! buy it when it becomes available!

Good for watching you tube videos on your tv from your handheld device or tablet. Great if your TV isn't a smart TV

Cheap way to turn TV to a smart TV. Netflix streaming was excellent. Whole family had fun casting YouTube videos to the TV using our phones and tablets.

This is a most have and would like to add it does work with my ipad and iphone 5. Love just thinking about how many more apps will be available soon.

Great idea EXCEPT that trying to control it reliably with an ipad is a JOKE. Tonight we couldn't pause the %$#%* thing. Just kept on playing & playing & playing. I would recommend for it's ability to provide a positive viewing experience, but not for using various electronic devices to control it. Bad news.

I use my phone for almost everything and this has made things much more convenient than using my xbox or computer

I returned it for the simple fact that the online content that I stream cannot be streamed wirelessly from a mobile device. If I'm going to go to the trouble to pull up the program on my computer and it's already wired into my TV, why do I need a wireless connection? Good idea Google, but make the wireless streaming more widely compatible with tablets and phones if you want my $35.

works as expected. however if this had android build in, that would be great. just like the mini android sticks.

Works well for an easy access to internet for the TV. I am not sure I have really unlocked it's potential.

It worked very well with my 15 year old Insignia flat screen.

This is a nice little device to add some smart features to a TV. Needs more apps and features though.

Works with iSO and Android. Pricey because of the lack of apps at the moment; not too bad if you bought it during the Netflix promo. When casting Youtube, it cuts off parts of the video, and there is no option to resize it properly.

Worth the investment and should get better over time as more apps are updated with the cast feature.

We have been using it to watch tv, video clips, and share pics or web sites...... very easy to use

I would have given a higher star rating, however it was found that this product does not support the universal standard of Dolby Digital 5.1, instead it supports the newer standard of Dolby Digital Plus. That is fine and dandy unless your AV Receiver is more than a year old! So if I want to stream or "cast" Netflix to use my Surround Sound Home Theater with this $25 product, I will need to spend at least another $250 on a new AV Receiver. ALSO does not support casting my personal media library to my home theater system unless I purchase PLEX or some other software. This is not a solution by itself, requires additional purchases to make it work with what you would get out of the box with like the WD TV product.

Bought from Best Buy but didn't actually try & set-up for several months, so couldn't return it. Needed help from Google to get set-up but after finally done, the rep asks what router we had. I said Apple and she said that was problem that would require Apple & my internet provider to change settings. Decided not worth the trouble.

This product worked for about 2 - 3 weeks from the time we started using it. We first began noticing problems with the connection within the first month. Now, after only a few months, we are lucky if we can get anything to cast from any of the supported apps. Chromecast is a great idea but the product fails to meet even minuscule expectations. Google could have spent more time engineering something better than his junk.

Dongle drops the connection a lot. Didnt liked it.

was told by Best Buy employees that it would stream anything that played on my phone but it doesn't. It plays what my TV, Blu ray, wii, & Xbox does already. was hoping it which stream videos off my phone but it doesn't, won't even stream any videos off the net unless it's YouTube Netflix or Hulu waste of time and money
