Purchased for my boyfriend as a gif the and he's had no problems with it.

I was excited to order the Chromecast, especially because it is advertised as being so easy to use. I do not know whether I received a defective product or if there is some other reason why it did not work, but it just simply did not work. I used it the first night I received it without issue, but every time thereafter I received an error message on my tv. I tried everything imaginable to try and rectify the problem, but had to end up returning it. I would say it is probably still a good product if you don't receive a defective one...Perhaps in an attempt to manufacture these items quickly some of them are made poorly.

Bought this for my son and he loves it! I plan to buy another one for myself.

But it was still a good purchase. Works as intended. Would recommend.

Chrome cast app on browser often crashes and need to be reloaded by going into the settings and then in extensions, also the cast on the browser often displays network related error and need to cast again.

I liked the option of being able to cast my browser tab to TV. Product gets heated up - google says that is okay. I am not too convinced. Stopped working after 3 weeks of use. Customer care isn't 'Google' class. Hoping that Google would replace the product.

I ordered it very first day and got it in next 3rd day. But unfortunately this device doesn't work. 1. Need power from external adapter. It wont work from power from HDMI port. Which makes the dongle ugly. 2. Setup won't work from Macbook. 3. No support from Iphone, Ipad or mac. For me it din't work from other two Windows machines. 4. The wifi connectivity is so bad on this device that it disconnects in every 15 seconds. 5. I also have Apple TV, which works perfectly. I would suggest better spend extra $65 and just go with Apple TV. I am returning my chromecast.

I chose to purchase this from Best Buy because of the great price.

New way to stream. Easy to setup. Casting web pages is very useful.

This is my second Chromecast because we enjoyed at home.

It works great and is good for the price you pay for it.

The chromecast is screencasting better than others.

Come on Google you could do better...this only lets you stream Netflix, YouTube, and a few others...we bought it because sales rep at bb told us it would show our phone screen etc. Our Sony br player already does everything the chrome cast does.. only reason we kept it is so that we can view Netflix in our bedroom and the kids room. Otherwise I was tempted to return it.

I don't use it often but it works well when I need it!
