While it was a little harder than I expected to set up, it seems to be worth it. (not too bad) Learns your heating and cooling habits quickly and adjusts your HVAC habits quickly and adjusts your system accordingly. Pleased with the NEST thermostat so far. The rebate from First Energy only took 10 days, not like many "rebates" that you see that take 3 months of more. Great product, connected with my Google Home Hub easily. The NEST app still gives you more control though.

Love this update!! The nest is very easy to install and work with. The app that goes along with this device is amazing for when you need to adjust the temperature in the middle of the night but don't want to get out of the bed. It also will learn your comfortable temperature level in the home and compare it to cost efficient temperature level and give you recommendation temps to save money on the electric bill!

We moved and had to buy a new thermostat, so we came back to Nest. Easy to use, set up and very sleek looking.

this is the second one I got, I upgraded my thermostat about Two years ago, after a year I started getting a W5 error, (cannot connect to wireless) I chose to ignore it, after another Six Months, I started getting a Low Battery error, I had to remove the device and charged it with a USB cable. called tech support and they said they will not replace it due the warranty was just one Year. I bought a new one, (when it was working, it was great). this time I bought the extended warranty and hope for the best.

Have 3 earlier generation Nest thermostats for my home and my tenant. One "died" due to faulty wiring by the electrician that caused a "burnout" of the battery (that's my advanced technical summary). Got the 3rd gen and love it more than the others. It's like when your new baby comes home and you have to hide how much more you like it from the other children. Works the way it's supposed to, the auto away feature is a major money saver for someone with a varied schedule. Integrating with my Nest cams and the security/temp regulation in my home is complete. Our old thermostat had such a cumbersome programming mode that we didn't even use it. Easily install the Nest yourself and download the app. I found a great youtube video on unboxing, mounting and getting started and followed step by step. I did the programming right from my phone. If our schedules change and coming home early we can adjust the temp to be where we want it when we get home. Love how it sees you coming and gives the current display! Wish I'd have got this YEARS ago!! You'll love it!

Love this product! I have had it for years now and it failed on me once (heat would turn on instead of AC). It was a true bug that could not be fixed so I reached out to Nest and they sent me a replacement at no cost! This new one has lasted over a year and I have very happy with it. So easy to control from our phones, and even with our voice through our Alexas!

I really like this thermostat. I had a different smart thermostat before this one and this is much better. I also tried the non-learning nest but it didn’t do everything I wanted. Main thing I wanted was to control my home humidifier with the thermostat. This one does that and it is great. It makes you think you need a pro to install it but if you know enough and tinker enough you can set this up by yourself.

Easy to use Wi-Fi thermostat and can adjust from my telephone when I am away.

I got this for my mom who had trouble reading the numbers on her old no-name simple thermostat. She loves it and thinks the app is incredibly easy to use. Also loves motion sensing. The setup was a little strange with our system. Needed to buy a Nest Power Connector but that's because our house has a very strange AC/Heat unit
