Easy to install. Works great. Placed in the hall but seems to learn quickly to even out temperature in 2nd floor of house.

Couldn't be more pleased with this product. Having remote access to know the temp in my home to make sure my pets are staying cozy is great!. Also having a history report of how often the a/c is running each day and knowing if you or the weather had any impact on the average energy usage is another plus to help use this product's technology to reduce energy consumption. Great product!

Our old thermostat had such a cumbersome programming mode that we didn't even use it. Easily install the Nest yourself and download the app. I found a great youtube video on unboxing, mounting and getting started and followed step by step. I did the programming right from my phone. If our schedules change and coming home early we can adjust the temp to be where we want it when we get home. Love how it sees you coming and gives the current display! Wish I'd have got this YEARS ago!! You'll love it!

In a modern, or even contemporary, in my opinon no thermostat looks better than the Nest. This is the second one I've owned. It matches the decor and there are many colors to choose from. The new 3rd generation let's you customize the screen. We show the weather app. We needed to install a common C wire to get it working but to me is so worth it. It integrates well with Alexa so no need to manually adjust the temperature. Great product

The best smart thermostat there is. We've had issues with ours one time before where it stopped connecting to wifi and Google just sent us a replacement - even though it was out of the warranty period.

Works great as expected and it was easy to install

I replaced my ecobee with the nest thermostat and it was the best decision I could have made. The ecobee was not working correctly and the nest now is more advanced and works better.

Have 3 earlier generation Nest thermostats for my home and my tenant. One "died" due to faulty wiring by the electrician that caused a "burnout" of the battery (that's my advanced technical summary). Got the 3rd gen and love it more than the others. It's like when your new baby comes home and you have to hide how much more you like it from the other children. Works the way it's supposed to, the auto away feature is a major money saver for someone with a varied schedule. Integrating with my Nest cams and the security/temp regulation in my home is complete. Our old thermostat was starting to act up and we decided to take the plunge and add the Nest thermostat. To be honest I held off because it felt like I was splurging to replace a thermostat was working properly but now I wish I had replaced it sooner. Installation could not have been easier and now when I'm in bed I don't have to get up to turn the temperature up or down.

I've always wanted to get a smart thermostat, and finally pulled the trigger when the old one didn't work. Glad I did. This this is fancy. I'm impressed with all the customization. Can't wait to see how the learning goes and if I save any money. It was easier than I thought it was going to be to install. Watched the video and boom, done.

Bought this to replace an old mercury thermostat on an AC/heat pump unit for a small section of our house that includes a sunroom and storage room. They are not well insulated and the unit was running virtually non-stop to keep up. I was hoping that this would help with efficiency, or at least enable us to view statistics to adjust settings to keep the room a more consistent temperature. While it hasn't been in place long enough to know for certain, it does appear that the unit is running less and the temperature is definitely more stable. It took me a while to figure out the wiring from our old thermostat, which is my only knock on it. Once I was able to determine that, installation was easy.
