I have been eying a Nest for a year or more so I was very happy to have purchased this unit on sale ($50 off) recently. It was very easy to install and love that it is a smart learning thermostat. I replaced a programmable Honeywell unit that we have had for years. With with kids in the house for the summer it made sense to have a thermostat that knows when someone is home instead of one that is only programmed to our work schedule, which changes weekly. The old unit didn't really work for us anymore.

Quick and easy to pick up via best buy price during black friday sales, the Nest is aesthetically beautiful in upgrading from our old thermostat setup, saving money on electric utilities and also smart features to allow for control while away from home!

The best device for your home, works great easy to set up

This works great. You do have to be in your normal routine for it to work right, but it's easy to reset the learning if needed.

Anyone can install this if they have a system that works with it. So nice. So easy to set up.

Super friendly to use, I love that it seamlessly works with the application on the phone.

Love the next, had it at our older home (2 units) for about 8 years and have purchased again at our new home (2 units). We did have a bit a trouble with wiring at the new home and had to have a tech come out and run a new wire for it but works great since then. I will say the nest customer service when we had issues was disappointing.

This thermostat works great. Look slightly better then the 2nd generation. No problems or complaints with this new nest yet.

Well this is a aesthetically pleasing, especially if you avoid installing the wall plate (honestly, deters from the aesthetic), of course it’s most important features it’s ability to figure out how to save you money by reducing the frequency with with your unit is on. Doing nothing else to my house, within my first year I was comparably saving about 30-$50 a month! On the busier months (hot or cold), the savings were less but nonetheless present. Highly recommend, easy to use.

I love that we can control this from our phones too! We've had it for summer and winter, and it is working great.

I've been keeping tabs on Nest for a while. I've wanted one since they came out and I'm finally at a point that I have my own house and want to fill it with nice things. Not only does Nest look great, but it works great too. My only complaint is the "Home and Away" sensing, but I turned it off and everything has worked pretty flawlessly. I unfortunately had to use the face plate as my old thermostat had holes that would've shown. When my wife and I reliant the house we'll fill them and take the face plate off because it makes it look so much cooler.

I like that I can access it with my phone app. Great to have the house at a comfortable temperature before I get home.

Best thermostat, tried 2 others and works great without running other wiring for Wi-Fi style thermostats, no issues with cycling my ac, but the eco mode can be annoying if you use it and work from home, if it doesn’t sense someone walking by it will turn the ac up on you.

I purchased the nest smart thermostat because I wanted a way to set schedules and monitor energy usage, and after doing some research it was a no-brainer decision. I have had it for a month now, and had modest savings on my energy bill. We'll have to see how it does in the long run, but in my area this thing will theoretically pay for itself in around 3 years, and it looks great too. I definitely recommend this product.
