Best Thermostat
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Never would have ever guessed I would be writing a review on my thermostat but...this is the best thermostat hands down. I moved homes and repurchased this and the savings you see in a day after installing one of these is night and day. The app is great if you forget to set the temperature and loves how it learns your schedule. Great for two stage heating and cooling as well.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have been very pleased with this thermostat overall. It was easy to install and pretty easy to get set up as well. They even have a very good process for verifying if this will work with your existing system. I took a picture of my wires and everything from my existing thermostat and sent it to Nest. I received a response within the next business day and they even had personalized instructions for me on how and where to connect everything (as well as confirming that it was compatible). Well made product!

I would recommend this to a friendWorks well; recommend having a C wire
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The nest thermostat gives the ability to remotely control and schedule the operation of the fans, heat and AC. Having a C-Wire (Common Wire) routed from the furnace to the thermostat is highly recommended. Without the C-Wire, the Nest thermostat can constantly run into "Low Power" issues since it cannot charge the battery at the rate which it drains.

Excellent Gadget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Nest thermostat is a must have for anyone who enjoys gadgets. This device is excellent for those of us who truly want ato own a smart home. Control the temperature in your home from anywhere and also save money in the process. Installation was fun and very easy. I own 3, one for each floor and one to control my gas fireplace. The fireplace installation was a little more difficult because the nest needs 24v to supply power. My fireplace only provided milli amps. You can find installation help on the Web for that.
