At first I wasn't sure if I really wanted to spend this much money on a smart thermostat, but I've wanted one for a while so I decided to pull the trigger. As soon as I took it out of the package I was really impressed with the quality of this thermostat. The look, the feel, and everything else about it was top of the line. It was a breeze to install, easy to use and I haven't had a single issue with it. I should have bought one a long time ago.

It works great I love being able to adjust the temperature on my phone.

This works great and is easy to use. Checkout YouTube for helpful install videos

The nest was easy to install. Some of the functions could use improvement. My unit runs much longer after reaching target cooling temp. . Seems as though the ambient temperature on the display is not very sensitive. I do not like the fact that in order to run the fan only, it automatically turns the system on even with a dedicated wire for fan, and for a timed duration. there are dashes in between temperature settings but yet Fahrenheit displays only whole numbers. The optional temperature sensors can not average the temperature and use that as the ambient temperature. The off site control of the unit via the nest app is the biggest advantage.

Great product and the remote control aspect is amazing. Learns very fast and would buy again in a heart beat!

Purchased a ecobee 4, returned it. I then purchased a Nest 3rd generation. The Nest is a true Learning smart thermostat. The first week or so it learned how I set my home. By the end of the first week I never needed to schedule or set a temp. It automatically scheduled times for me. So it is a smart Thermostat vs the ecobee which is a programmable thermostat with Alexa. Nest also can be controlled with Alexa. All in all. You will be happy with the nest.

For Google - Nice product, guided help makes it very simple to install and put into work very quickly. Very good job by Google engineers. Thank you. For Best Buy - This is the very first time we received the shipment in same day. If BB team can continue the same, then will be able to get more traffic to their site. Very good job by BB and their shipment partner. Thank you.

Easy to install, easy yo use. Only took 20 mins start to finish

great product, it works great and I love that I can use my phone with it

Easy to install and to use. Look nice and clear. Totally recommend!

Great instructions. Easy to install. Easy to use even for old non tech-savvy people. Looks great.

I compared this with it's closest functional peers. In the end, I chose this based on it's functionality and compatibility with other home technology products. Installation and set up were a snap with well written instructions. It's only been two weeks since install so I don't yet have an electric bill to make before and after comparison of energy savings. I'll update once I have more history. I highly recommended this thermostat!

Very happy with this purchase. Installation was easy and straight forward. I found a lot of YouTube videos to guide me when confused about anything. The app itself was easy to set up. Configuration is a bit challenging at first but it's a breeze once you figure it out. It would have helped if a manual existed to walk one through it, though. Overall, I'm happy about the purchase.

Easy to install and works great. I like that the app shows how long the a/c runs every day.

I purchased the nest and installed myself in about 10 minutes! It was so easy to install and so easy to use.

Took only 20 minutes to install with help from nests website and initial setup was a breeze. Works great!

Ladies (and men that love your women)! Have you ever had one of those nights where you wake up in the middle of the night SO HOT?!?! With this bad boy you dont have to even get out of bed. Roll over, pick up your phone and turn that baby down! Also, it's great to set a schedule while you are away during the day, and you can also set it so it knows you are coming home and can start lowering the temp. It's a gem!

This is wonderful! I replaced a Honeywell Z-Wave with this and I love this Nest so much better. It learns and incorporates with a temperature sensor I have as well as the Nest protects I have wired throughout the house. Would recommend!

These are great! Being able to setup a schedule for your heat and cool. Monitor it and change it on the fly is amazing. You have to makes sure your home is wired up correctly for the thermostats. I would highly recommend these.

Overall a really good thermostat, very easy to use and simple but elegant interface.
