I'm very satisfied with this purchase. Although originally steep price it has paid itself back after 4 months of use. I had new eco windows installed. Paired with the next my savings are half the cost compared to my neighbors. Bonus thought: this is great when you have a two story home. You really don't need multiple thermostats. Just install the app on your phone (ex. when your in bed).

We had rented a place that had a Nest Smart Thermostat in the past. I had thought about purchasing one of the Nest Smart Thermostats, but was not sure if they were worth it. Since we had the opportunity to use one, we decided that they would be a good addition to our HVAC system. We are very happy that we made the purchase.

Love my nest thermostat. Love being able to set the temp from our bedroom and also rhat it goes into eco mode whenever were out. A bit lazy, maybe, but now i dont forget that i set my thermostat before i leave!

Just had the Nest Learning Thermostat - 3rd Generation - Copper Installed a week ago and I am in 2 to 3 week period where the thermostat learns my heating and cooling habits. So far, its working fabulously and I've do no changes; like it already knows what I like. Way, way cool! The copper version I have looks really awesome in my Arts & Crafts style home.

Great device. I replaced my previious thermostat Honeywell, which became acting stranegly. At summer time whith conditioner use it stayed on a fan mode way after a compressor went off, after achieved desired temperature, thus wasting power for nothing. That gave me idea that it sem to become defective. Now I have Nest and it changed things a lot. I can monitor snd change settings on line too.

I know there are numerous reviews and I typically don't write when that is the case but this is the exception. I have been very pleased with the performance and savings I have realized through the nest monthly report as well as local power company rebates. Check with your local power company for potential savings/rebates for all your energy efficient/smart home purchases.

Hooked it up in minutes, was very impressed with the look and feel of the item. Worked great immediately. Then, during the night it sounded like Darth Vader was in the heating vents. Apparently the furnace was quick staging. After seeking help online, I determined I needed to hardwire another wire from furnace to thermostat. Took some doing, but solved the problem. Anyone with an old-fashioned thermostat simply doesn't know what they are missing. Even when I purchased this product, I was not aware of all the useful, easy functions that were available. While a bit more expensive than the competition, it's worth every penny. In fact, I recommend replacing even perfectly working thermostats with the Nest 3rd Generation.

Great new technology. Has one of the best installation instructions I have ever seen and included all tools needed. I wish every product took the time to provide instructions, tools to install. This product was manufactured perfectly to easily install the wires, accommodate all types of installation. Setup was a snap as was the ability to upload the app so I can use with my iPhone or Mac. Would definitely recommend.

Installation was East. Looks nice and contemporary. Easy to use.

Works great with the wifi. Follow the instructions for the installation. Take a picture of the wiring before you disconnect the old thermostat just in case you need to hook it up again.

Had a question about wiring, contacted the Nest website and they actually answered in a timely manner. That is a big plus and contacted me a couple of days later to make sure everything was working. Love the thermostat. Like the fact that it will automatically turn down to a set temperature when it senses that no one is home and automatically increases the temp when you get back. Just one of many perks.
