This is the simplest and most user friendly thermostat out there! Connect a few wires and along with the mounting bracket and the thermostat walks you through every aspect to make sure everything is working correctly. I have one upstairs and on downstairs. Both can be accessed through a smart phone which is awesome if the family is up or downstairs.

Simple to install. Subjectively looks good. Easy to understand the controls and tracking. We only have heat so our options are limited as far as turning heat on and off but the UI is pretty impressive. If there is something I want to change its just there. Pretty much right were I thought it would be. Its really intuitive. I assume we will be able to track and control our usage to save some money but I cant say how much of a difference we've been able to achieve yet. Ive only had to circulate air occasionally since I purchased the device. Its a little pricey compared to some other options, but I would still recomend anyone in the market to consider it when comparing other smart thermostats.

Works great, made my life more easier! I have Airbnb, when not home, I can control the temperature from whatever I’m at! Will highly recommend it!

I had the 1st generation, which had no problem for as long as I had (until we moved, about 10 yrs). And I recently have purchased the 3rd generation thermostat for my new home. As I expected, very pleased with the impeccable design and performance. Very easy to install and configure. compatible google home.

Excellent product! Easy to install, so far very reliable. Many may not care much about this feature but one of the reasons I purchased this thermostat was to be able to control the fan separate from the ac unit. Although it doesn’t have a “fan only” schedule it does allow you to turn it on for a set amount of hours or on/off through the app. I wish it had a separate schedule for the fan only since I mainly use this to help my hvac scent diffuser. I set both the fan and the diffuser to work an hour before I get home and by the time I get home the entire house smells great.

I will start that I have a little background knowledge on building computers and understanding different types of wirings, however with hvac, I don’t know what color wire does what. I would say if you are on the fence of buying and you’re installing yourself like I did, snap a photo of the wiring. You can then reference your current thermostat and plug in the values into the google nest site. There are many guides and even after is you messed up a little, the on screen prompts will guide you. As for building quality, it’s a very well made product (same attention to detail and boxed as an apple product) After installed the prompts guide you and super easy to program modes and schedules. I feel 2-3 months this nest will pay for itself as I’m in the 400 to 700 a month in electricity bills and most is from the hvac that is first off would run when I didn’t want it do with a bad old thermostat and I think the blower unit trips way to often. I’m writing this after two days but I can already feel the fans kick in ONLY when needed. Also I love the remote app to set and switch off when you are away. I’m amazed by thisthis nest product!

No issues, i have to say im really happy with the solid look and design of this themostart, working great and i already see my electric bill went down . Been paying 200+ each month and now only pay 180 some a month

Loving the Nest Thermostat makes controlling our heat pump extremely easy and very efficient!

This thermostat is easy to use and nice to look at. I have already noticed a small savings in my last power bill, and I've been through a few days of record cold weather this past month. It was fairly easy to install. The instructions could be a bit better though, I had to search google for a wire diagram, The instructions are not too clear on some wire setups.

Great addition to our new home, replacing the old thermostat. The pure ability to quickly change the temp settings remotely (while inside or outside your home) is just amazing. Even if I'm laying down and notice that the bedroom is too cold or too hot, all it takes is a couple of taps and DONE. Added a secondary thermometer to my child's bedroom and I often use it as a primary directive to automatically adjust the temp settings. This is GREAT! Make sure to use the rebates in your State to your advantage, I got $100 off mine.

I easily upgraded to the Nest, installing it in accord with online video instructions. They made it simple. It has operated just as promised. I greatly appreciate being able to access it from my iPhone, whether at home or out and about. We are saving energy (and money) thanks to the ease of controls and remote access of this device - and it looks great!

Easy to install. It’s also great to works excellent can connect to Alexa and have her change settings. Have the option to put app on your phone, will you leave the house and forget the air-conditioner is still on. You can quickly change it from your phone. I highly recommend to everyone who has an air conditioner

This is my second nest thermostat. The first was actually in an apartment I rented. I wanted my nest leafs back after I bought a place of my own. Installing was super simple, however, I did experience a bit of anxiety when it wouldn’t pull up on my iPhone. As I am learning the best way to interact with google products is to scan the QR code on the device. I quickly come out of my nervous state when the A/C kicked on. In the interim I did request assistance form nest support and ended up not needing the help. I find the eco settings work best for me. Maybe due to not having an android phone, I had better experience working the settings at the thermostat. Dialed it in after a couple of days and it’s doing it thing. Happy!

Thermostat is Easy to use, good value, and has given us energy savings

I had a Nest thermostat at a prior property and didn't realize how many features it has until I bought a property that had an Ecobee Lite 3. I really like the learning feature so that I don't have to necessarily create a schedule as it can change. It was easy to install/setup, and I like the simplicity of the app.

This was my 5th Nest Pro installation, all were slightly different but simple to correctly install. Extremely efficient. It learns quickly and requires minimal maintenance (if any at all). Other than an occasional "off-line" due to FL summer storms' power outages, I definitely recommend. I'm scheduled to install 4 more at friends and families residents soon. If you're fortunate to catch the "Nest Pro" on sale for less than $200 (grab on) although the reg. price will pay for itself over the summer months.

These devices are incredible. I have 1 upstairs and 1 down. I keep the floor that im not on set to Eco. Before i go upstairs to bed i cut the air on in summer to cool before i get there. Same with the downstairs. Using the app on my phone , i can control the temperature. It keeps me from using any ac/heat in that area until right before im in it. Average savings.. not quite sure but summer ac has run $170. This yr with Nest...$135. On happy girl!!!!!

Easy to set up and works perfectly. Controlling the thermostat from the app is very convenient.

I didn't think a smart thermostat was going to impress me, but the Nest thermostat did just that. Ease of use, app is intuitive, and everything worked flawlessly. Best Buy delivery was on time, and installation was simple.
