Very polished racing sim, the detail and the graphics are beautiful. Gameplay is smooth, love all the extra content the game has, especially if you really like the history of cars. The game does not disappoint.

Great return to form for the Gran Turismo series. The game offers plenty of modes to keep on coming back to beat your previous time. Besides the graphical upgrade, the game boasts a new customizable feature for its cars. If you’re coming from Gran Turismo sport you’ll noticed the physics of the cars are vastly different. No longer do cars have an insane amount of grip, but now it’s all about finesse when it comes to taming these cars. FR cars are a challenge to control and the off-road racing physics are at times questionable. However, this doesn’t impact the amount of fun this game offers. Also, one can spend hours perfecting their photos in the scapes mode. Definitely would recommend this game to veterans of the series and newcomers.

Game is fun to play and looks great. Not a fan of there being no way to play the game offline besides an arcade race. Microtransactions are there but not very intrusive.

Gran Turismo is back and it is better than ever! GT Sport was a great game but I feel so far that this version of GT 7 has taken it back to its roots. I have a basic Logitech G923 Racing wheel, pedals, and shifter attached to a cheapo rig and let me tell you it is worth the small investment over the ps5 dual sense controller. I spent a little more for the anniversary edition because I knew that this game would be staying in my collection for it's whole lifetime. I am going to play this game for a long time knowing that it will continue to provide updates and entertainment to me and my friends.

I Did the pre order for the 25th Anniv edition with the bonus items for in game play. Arrived right on time for launch. Now if only Best buy would get the ps5 consoles in stock so I could purchase the disk version. They have not had a drop since end of January.UP dated: I have played this game on a friends ps5 and wow it is Awesome and the cut scenes are so real its tuff to tell that or CG. Great game and you will enjoy learning history of the cars you race. Huge selection of cars and tracks to sharpen your skills. The data to download and begin racing is a big file.

This is the best of the best when it comes to racing games. I'm 56 and I remember the First Gran Turismo. This is the game that kept me with PlayStation all these years. This is not an easy game with a controller and I finally broke down and bought a steering wheel for the first time. I wont advertise which wheel to buy but you wont be disappointed if you decide to go with a full blown Sim Racing setup!!

This is a great revision for Gran Turismo. The graphics are great and it's still fun getting back into some familiar and some new cars that look great. The negative side is that you must download 103 GB of data to play the full game. There is a nice intro game where you race to music while the game is downloaded. For me, the game took about an hour to download. It took my son over 24 hours to download with his very rural 5-10MB internet speed. So, he had to wait an entire day to play the game.

Amazing game, one of the best in the GT series. Plays very well, great grpahics. This entry fixed all the complaints from prior partial (non-numbered) entries for the series. Car collecting, modification, and more have all returned. Would highly recommend.
Only negative is Best buy's use of FedEx. Preordered game, shipped when it should to arrive on release date, but FedEx messed up shipment. Until Best buy changes thier carrier, would NOT recommend using them for preorders if you want it on release day.

GT 7 continues the tradition of the mainline series roots. Gameplay, sound design and graphically it's all top notch. This game also does new things to get new players that have never played Gran Turismo to understand the basics and make it easy for newcomers to enjoy the game. Me as a long-time Gran Turismo fan this is what I've been waiting for since GT6 and I'm happy to say that it was worth the wait.

First off, the number one problem with this game is it requires a constant internet connection to play. Basically, you don't own the game you bought, you're just paying for the right to access GT servers to play the game. This is the primary reason for the one star; 10 days into the game's release, the servers have been down for hours, rendering the game completely unplayable. It is completely unacceptable that you can't play single player mode on a game you paid for! On top of this, when you first install the game, it takes 3 hours to download and uses up over 100 GB of hard drive space. While you're waiting for the game to install you can play a bare-bones tech demo that isn't really worth playing.
Another major issue with this game is microtransactions. For the most part you can get through the first 10 hours and acquire around 50 cars without spending any real world money. After about 10 hours the difficulty spikes significantly and you will need to grind to get credits for upgrading your vehicles. Going back to the always online requirement, Sony just released a patch that decreased the number of credits awarded for winning races, thus requiring more grinding or opening up your wallet. To further make earning credits more difficult, you cannot sell cars. I paid 176K for a car that I ended up winning a duplicate later and was unable to sell the double. To mitigate this, you'll need to go online and figure out which cars you can win so you don't needlessly purchase.
If the issue with the always online requirement and microtransactions weren't bad enough, the gameplay is atrocious. Almost all races begin with a rolling start where you're in last place and the first place vehicle is almost a quarter track ahead. This requires you to modify your car so it's insanely powerful (again requiring more credits so be prepared to open your wallet) and drive with ungodly precision.
Finally, the selection of cars is questionable. Although there are over 400 cars to chose from, many are duplicates and not many recent model years. For example, there are sever different types of Corvettes but all FR and they did not include the recent MR model. Also, there are many cars from previous GT games missing; no Audi Avant, no Honda CRX, etc. And for Tesla, they only include a 2012 model S; why not a model 3 or a Cybertruck?
To sum things up, this is not worth $70, at best I would pay $20 and get some fun for a weekend. But seriously, please don't buy this game. Gaming companies need to be stun where it hurts and no one should support these predatory and anti-consumer practices.
