Love the T.V......just can't find a stand for it. The tv stands that claim to be for 85inch TVs aren't wide enough for the feet on the TV :-(

Really disappointed in this tv so far. My screen has never looked clear despite trying different picture settings, using my Roku 4K and an external Chromecast. Input lag is really bad and now my TV has started looking like a fish bowl with its picture and everything is really zoomed in on the middle. Also have these weird bend lines on the outside of the TV. I think I got unlucky with the product I got or the other reviews aren't legit.

I love the price but not my experience so far. I purchased the tv and found the glass of the screen and the backlight at the bottom were not put together correctly so you could see into the inside of the screen. I called Best Buy and received the replacement and now the replacement has weird uniformity issues with the grays and blacks, you can see the backlight streak down the screen on the left and right side at an angle. I posted pictures to show the defects. When you are watching something with out a dark scene it looks fine but once you go dark it looks awful. The exchange process is not the easiest either.

The picture quality is good, although not the sharpest I've seen. But I got this thing for a $1000 on Cyber Monday, and definitely worth that price.
My couch is 25 ft away, and I needed something large enough to fill in a built-in entertainment center. This fills it in quite nice, and now I can read the guide from across the room without needing my glasses.
The speakers are quality, and the sound that comes from it is quite impressive for the price. The stand is metal, so I have no concerns it will fall over if my kid grabs it. The stands do raise the height of the TV a good three or four inches off of whatever you are putting it on, so I had to purchase a soundbar to hide all of the wires behind the TV from being in eyesight.
You should really have two people unbox, and put this TV on your entertainment center. You have to stand it upright to install the legs properly, and it is difficult with one person because the TV is 150 lb. I did do it myself, so it is possible, just quite difficult.
I also felt like I ripped my bicep in half lifting it up onto the entertainment center.
It is a smart TV, running Google TV. Which means you don't need any codes for remotes, and you don't need to hit input to change between devices. When you turn on a new device, the TV automatically tunes to that input. When you plug in new equipment the remotes somehow automatically just work for volume and things like that. It also has Chromecast built into it.
The Google TV is pretty good, but can freeze every now and then. In two months time I have had to unplug the power from the TV and reset it twice, because it failed to recognize its inputs. But I'm plugging it and then 10 seconds later plugging it back in, is not a big deal, when the TV only takes a minute to boot up.
Overall I would buy another one of these, if the price was right.

I was skeptical. An off-brand TV with that large of a screen that is bound to magnify any defects was risky. But I pulled the trigger and bought the Hisense 85" H6510G. I am really impressed. The color is great, it's easy to use and the sound is amazing (even before I connected it to my surround sound system). All the ports are easy to access, and it just looks great. My family is in awe of their now in-home movie theater. The Android TV functionality is a plus and super convenient. And my son loves playing video games on it. 4K videos from YouTube look amazing, and HD streams from most other services are flawless. I'm glad I saved a lot of money and went with this TV.

I wanted a new TV to add to my new home purchase. This is quite large and looks good. Works well. hooked right into the WIFI and has not had an issue. I am still learning all the options it includes. The picture is very good.
Downside is the viewing angle. I notice it is a bit small.

incredible size and picture ... FOR THE MONEY... Be realistic, don't expect this set to directly compete with models costing 50% more. But you simply cannot get a better tv of this size for this price point.

I purchased this TV to replace a projector & screen approximately the same size. This blows the projector quality and ease of use out of the water! I got this TV when it was on sale recently for $1K and don't regret this price for the size, quality, and value. I highly recommend having it delivered (was free when I purchased it) as it's a HUGE box and very heavy, Hisense didn't want this TV damaged in transit and it shows. Make sure you have physical space for both the box and the unboxing process. It's easy enough to find a mount that supports a TV of this size/weight but make sure to get the correct one. And you will definitely need at least 2 people to lift it if mounting as you have to remove the handles that make the unboxing process a bit easier and it's a big lift. The picture and sound quality are better than I expected and the added bonus of androidtv built into the TV/remote is really nice (hopefully Hisense plans on updating to Google TV in the near future).

I just purchased the Hisesne 85'' class H651og Series LED 4K. Overall this is a very nice TV. The picture is very clear. The colors are vibrant. The only small negative is that when you view the TV from a distant and angle you will notice a difference in quality and viewing. This was already stated in previous reviews. However when you are in the actual sitting area viewing the TV the quality is almost second to none. I have 9 TVs in my home. They range from 40'' to 70'' in which the name brands are Samsung and Visio and LG. This TV shows as well as the so call top brands. It's worth the purchase, you will not be dissappointed.

Amazing giant Android tablet disguised as a TV!

I absolutely love this gigantic beast.
Its like having a movie theater for a living room in my small apartment! The sound quality from the built in speakers is surprisingly expressive and rich, although a soundbar would just be amazing.
I run emulators to play retro video games on it with a bluetooth controller (Gamesir T4 Pro), watch Netflix and Hulu and Blu Ray, and use it as a Google Home device. The UI is smoothly navigated and customizable and the play store is always within reach for useful apps.
The picture quality is grand and vibrant but of course not as much as the bigger brands might be. Still an incredible deal and compromise at around half the price of a Samsung or Vizio and it was delivered to my living room! If you are wanting a great deal on a humongous newer 4k tv that is really more like a colossal Android tablet with no touch screen. Truly great.

Everything is amazing about this product. Hisense is the King of budget entertainment. The TV OS is android 9, so don't forget to access developer options and remove all the flashy settings. Out the box the TV settings are ok, but please change them. The results are night and day. The sound is loud. We rarely go above 7. Bottom line: For the price, this is amazing.

I am happy with the picture provided by this Hisense. It cannot be compared with a Samsung quality but the colors are very vivid and the speaker's built-in sound pretty decent. I hooked up to my home theater system and that is how should sound. The 3 HDMI are very convenient. Control remote has a good working range distance. In general, I am glad about this purchase.

First, I don't think the rtings review applies to this model, as they reviewed the smaller screen size, and some of my findings are different.
1) Rtings is correct, the TV is quite difficult to calibrate, despite a full set of 20 point calibration settings for white balance and gamma tracking, and a CMS. Settings are more dependent upon each other than typical, and it requires a bunch of going back and re-tweaking other settings to find a compromise. I calibrated with ChromaPure and xRite Display Pro Plus colorimeter. I was able to get delta-E average around 1.5 for White Balance, color gamut, and saturation, and 2.2 Gamma around 2.0 when calibrating to Rec.709. But, the set has trouble tracking reds, and there are certain colors with a higher delta-E regardless of calibration efforts, and at Rec 709 the reds are slighty tinted toward orange and undersaturated at 100% video. But, this compromise was necessary to keep the reds reasonably accurate at 75, 50, and 25% video leves.
2) Gamma drifts around as the set warms up, and continues to drift throughout the length of a feature film. Checking the Gamma tracking at different times yields different values, although the shape of the curve remains almost the same. This is a problem that prevents calibration to a higher degree of accuracy.
3) Rtings says the TV does NOT display Wide Color Gamut, but the TV's box says it does. The truth is, it depends on your definition of WCG. The TV does NOT handle a large percentage of the BT.2020 spec. I measured just above 50 percent. It DOES handle about 93 percent of DCI-P3, but with notably higher color errors post-calibration. If your definition of WCG is anything that displays substantially above Rec.709, this TV DOES do WCG, at about 125 percent of Rec. 709. Bottom line, it is Wider than the Blu-Ray standard, but doesn't support as much of the UHD standard as today's higher end TVs.
3) I had the opposite findings compared to Rtings when it comes to black levels and uniformity. In a dark room, there is a lot of backlight bleed and lack of black uniformity for a VA panel. This is quite noticeable in dark scenes, but in brighter scenes the perceived contrast is excellent. You can make this better by turning down the backlight, but then the picture is compromised by lack of brightness.
4) The manufacturer claims "full-array" backlight. Some have misinterpreted this to mean "Full-Array Local Dimming." The TV does NOT have local dimming. The manufacturer's claim appears to mean that the TV backlight LEDs are behind the panel as opposed to edge-lit.
5) The TV is NOT a good option for HDR content, as the brightness is not nearly enough for even the most basic HDR standard (HDR 10) which contains a dynamic range of up to 1000 nits of brightness. This TV is capable of less than 300 nits peak brightness post-calibration, with full backlight. This is true for most budget TVs today, Manufacturers claim HDR because the TV has circuitry that decodes the HDR metadata, but the display itself is incapable of reproducing most of what HDR offers.
6) Unlike other reviews, I found the Android TV OS to be quite stable, and MUCH more so than my expensive Sony x940d.
7) The rear handles make wall hanging MUCH easier!
The TV is capable of a beautiful, vibrant picture, and the expanded color gamut is a visible benefit. At $999 it is a steal, and I'm very happy with it for what it is. At full price, you're better off looking at another set, and if you really want a TV that can deliver a lot more of what UHD aka 4K Blu-Ray can offer, then you would want to look at something like a Samsung QLED series.
