This thermostat is very easy to use. Changing the settings on the app is so much easier than figuring out settings the old way. Makes m,y life much easier!

I've had bad luck with Honeywell devices. The last 2 died after a few months. This one was easy to install and connected up easily & quickly. When I bought it, I didn't realize it was a Honeywell product. If I had I would not have bought it. But, it's been good so far. The screen seems particularly solid & well-built. Software not human-engineered very well & I never did get the Android app to work. iOS app works (just) ok. Would I recommend this to a friend? With caution given that it's a Honeywell product.

I really enjoy the extra functions of this thermostat. I never thought I would love changing the air from my couch so much, but turns out I am super lazy.

It was difficult to get online when installing, had to contact support to make it work. Otherwise its a good device.

Overall it is a good thermostat. I have problems with my phone linking with it every once in a while or I'd give it 5 stars.

This is an OK smart thermostat. I like the way it looks, it seems to do what it is supposed to, and it was pretty cheap. It is not the best, probably not the worst, lacks the smarts of some newer or more advanced ones. Setting up the hardware was quite easy, after I pulled a new thermostat wire to accommodate the need for C wire - 24v, which wasn't that hard either. Setting up the smartphone app was a PITA though - and I have been in IT for 20 years. The app would crash, inexplicably go back several steps or clear to the beginning of the process... all of that would have been avoided if a better setup documentation was available. Turns out that: 1) The Lyric app will not take special characters in the password. Ok, I used spaces, which often are considered a different category than "special" characters. But the app would just say "unable to create profile, try again later"... not very helpful. 2) Your WiFi secret phrase should not have special characters either - or at least that is what the support told me after keeping me on hold for the better part of an hour. I am not convinced this is actually correct. 3) Your WiFi network name (SSID) should also have no special characters - again, this was claimed by the support, but my experience seems to be different. What really helped was turning OFF the cellular data on the smartphone. Otherwise the app would never finish registering the thermostat.

Great thermostat, program it to turn on and off and don’t have to do anything else. It even knows when I leave to adjust the temperature

This is a great thermostat lots of features and easy to navigate and you can lock the thermostat if you dont want your kids messing with it!

Does pretty much everything the nest does, it's cheaper just as reliable, straight forward to install and operate. App works great no issues.

I would recommend to have this one. Works great so far. I like geofencing control and full control from Lyric app. Easy to install.

Not the easiest to set up but Honeywell support is great. Love the wifi capabilities and it's a lot of bang for the buck.

It works well and it does the job. I don’t have to get up as much to adjust my tempt. Overall it’s worth it.

Extremely easy to install & easy to use. I love the geo-fencing option which automatically turns my thermostat up/down depending on where I am.

The thermostat is not bad, it does most of what it promises, like control the temperature remotely and turn of the unit when you leave the house. Installation was also pretty straight forward. But it doesn't connect as easily to HomeKit (which was one of the main reasons I purchased it) and also, if you're looking for the REBATE, you'll probably not get it with this, I've tried.

I have no complains what so ever. The interface inst quite as nice as some other products out there but this does the job just right!

I habe to say this was of the best equipment I have installed in my house. It alows me to control my AC even from outside the house.

This works with my Android phone and has great features. Can set a vacation schedule and full schedule for each day of the week

No issues; worked out of the box perfectly. Only had to make sure to check the wires before connecting, else all was good!

honeywell brand, know and trusted, easy to install, works like a charm, stays connected and alerts when internet connectivity is iffy.

I had a little trouble getting it registered on the Honeywell server, but persistence paid off. The Geofencing works great - especially with crazy family schedules. If we are both away from the house, it automatically reduces or raises the temperature. Now, we don't have to remember to change the thermostat. Personally, I like the look of this one better than the more expensive round version. Not sure why this one is less money, but I am very happy with it.
