Super easy to setup. I never knew I wanted a Wi-Fi thermostat until I had this...and it's awesome! Little warm while laying in bed and too tired to get up? Well you're in luck! Adjust that little sucker from the easy to use app on your phone, air kicks on, and you're off counting sheep in no time. Bonus points for not having to worry about stubbing toes or tripping over things in the dark.

I'm a month into having this thermostat and it has been great so far. If you did not have an extra power wire on your old thermostat then there is an extra step. The Honeywell needs a separate power wire. My old thermostat did not need it but the wire was already there just not hooked up. So I had to go to the main unit (mine was in the atic) and connect it to the power. Was not hard just search youtube and you will find lots of videos on how to do it. Works great with Apple Home Kit but did not get it to work with Echo. For some reason Alexa can not see it. This is a common problem I've seen across the internet. Not a big deal for me since it has its own app and also works with siri. We travel and I just wanted to be able to see the temp in my house and also be able to control the temp while I'm away. And it does that perfect.

I upgraded my thermostats at home to the lyric T5 and I am so glad I did. They work great and were super easy to install. Connects to Wi-Fi and can be controlled remotely with the apps on the go. Looks gook with most decorum.

Great product, works well. Make sure, though that your wifi you are using for configuration is ONLY 2.4Ghz. It took me a long time to find out that that as teh cause of me not being able to configure the device. Also, on line, it says you need a C wire. However, when you open the box, there is an addendum that tells you that you can use other 12v sources, so you may be lucky! However, once set up, I'm very happy with it. Easy use and does exactly what it should. Also looks great!

Both work well once you get them actually registered via Honeywells online system. Had a problem doing that with one unit and it took multiple calls in to support to get it fixed. Can now control it via my phone, tablet, or by voice via Amazon Alexa. Working well.

The Honeywell Lyric T5 is an awesome addition to any smart home or any home for that matter. Works very well with Apple Home Kit controlled via your iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple HomePod and Siri. Connects easily to your existing 5 wire thermostat wiring, Make sure you have a 'C' wire to connect to, which is the 12 volts needed to provide constant power to the thermostat. Setup is easy when you follow the app directions and on screen prompts. Only issue is there is a communication error that periodically pops up but doesn't affect the controlling of the thermostat in any way.

Like most of the people that are making their home "smart", we were looking for products that were compatible with our current set up. For us, it must be compatible with our current hub and controllable via Alexa (Amazon Echo/Dot). Honeywell was our first choice for our thermostat. It was simple and it looks a lot better than the old white box thermostat. Installation was very easy. Just follow directions. You do need to know what type of HVAC you have (the app steps you through the set up and ask if you have forced air or heat pump). We are fully satisfied with this product.

Installing was a bit rough as we were missing one wire but all we had to do was go buy some. $37 later it was installed. I got the app and it works great! Now when I am away and the cat sitter turns the thermostat to 85...I can immediately put back to a normal temp. The updates are done in the middle of the night so no bother for that. Small yet I can see the room temperature from across the room. Has it been a cost saver??? Not sure but it is much easier to control my heat now. The ultimate for us lazy people that don't want to walk across the room to turn the heat up.

This thermostat is a great upgrade for my previous Honeywell thermostat. It has an easy to read display and is easy to operate, either at the panel or through your smart phone.

Got it on sale for 109$. Easy to install and geofencing feature to detect our location is working as designed. I just ordered my second one still on sale for the 2nd floor. Highly recommended...

I bought this new wifi thermostat to take advantage of my utility company's rebate offer. So far the thermostat has worked well, although I haven't really taken advantage of all its options.

This thermostat is Awesome! the functionality and ease of programming is great on screen and in the app. the setup however is a little quirky. At lease it was with the Samsung S8 and S9. Both (any maybe others) have to have the mobile data disabled to set up the wifi. Nowhere in the instructions does it tell you that. Luckily the phone support for the Lyric products is 24hr. Once it is set up it works great.

I love my Lyric thermostat. I bought it when I first got my house before I was actually living there. The ability to remotely change the temperature based on when I would/would not be there has been huge. It's also really fantastic when I'm too lazy to get up but want to change the temperature. The scheduling and geofencing are great options as well. All around great buy. I was between this and a few other smart thermostats and I'm more than happy with my decision.

I have puchased 3 of these units now. They are amazing! 2 of the installs had the "C" wire already run so they were up and running in 15 minutes or so. The 3rd install required running a new line to the furnace which was no problem. They easily connected to my network and the internet without any problems whatsoever. I just wish that I could also control these units from my laptop, but I always have my phone with me so it's not really a problem.

I wanted a new style smart wifi thermostat. I did way to much research on thermostats and decided to get this one. So simple to use and has all the great functions that the other high priced thermostats have (geofencing, easy to use mobile app,etc..). I have two thermostats in my house so I now have both installed and they work flawlessly. Great design on the face and super easy to install. For the price you cannot beat it you won't be disappointed.

Let me just say that this thermostat has created a craze with friends and family. So this was the second one purchased for a family members birthday. He has been enjoying the geofencing feature which has already helped save on their bill. In addition it looks great in their house since it’s not the old white plastic. He was able to install and set it up in roughly 15 min. The best bang for the buck thermostat out there.
