We liked the idea of being able to control the thermostat from our phones when we are away from home. That feature worked well. However, the temperature was always off by at least 5 degrees (common in smart thermostats according to Honeywell) but we could deal with that, too. What was a deal breaker for us was when we tried to turn on the A/C we only got hot air out of the vents even after giving it over 20 minutes to cool off. Luckily, we purchased the Geek Squad Protection Plan so we were able to return it.

I keep getting the “thermostat not responding” notification and it is very annoying. It still works okay, but for the price I expected a little more.

The unit did what it was supposed to for the most part but would randomly shut off. Overall ok but eventually returned it and got a nest due to the unit shutting down randomly
