WIFI connectivity/monitoring is great. Geo-Fencing is nice that home temp is at selected temp when you walk in thew door. Comfort level is better, as thermostat "learns" the rate of temp leakage from your home, and can anticipate when to heat and cool. Plus it works with Alexa !

This is a great thermostat. With our crazy Texas winter weather, the air conditioner runs during the day but the heater needs to run at night. There is nothing more fun than waking up and warming up the house from the bed!

This thermostat works great, I especially like the geofence feature where it automatically turns down the temperature when I leave and turns it back up when I come home! AWESOME

Bought before I left on vacation to keep track of house temperature saves a lot of money

It works on all feature with Geo and cover with feature and smartphone The manual is hard to follow that is only drawback from this if you put wire by yourself and video on the web is not clear C wire for me, it does not have an issue One thing that I have is the wire for heat pump on W suppose to be on W2 in my case also - I need to contact Honeywell since this is my new system also at the same time the technician that set up furnace does not have knowledge on this device, after I contact Honeywell I will say they help me clear out what I doubted and I will rep are very helpful I can thank them more to help me explain everything to me and they open 24/7 Y= Cool Y2= 2nd stage and W => Heat if use Gas W2=> heat if use Heat pump It does not have feature for strip heat on certain temperature on Thermostat you may need to get T6 for that feature To go to main setting press and hold menu will show you more feature include testing feature

This thermostat is awesome. Very easy setup. Only caveat is sometimes it drops from the Home app in iOS, but it is a simple reset ( not factory or schedule just hone kit reset) that will fix it. Customer service is very friendly and helpful. Would def buy again

I decided to go with this lyric because the person at Best Buy said it worked well with Apple products and it does. I've been using this theromostate for a month now and still love the product. It's really great for people who want to save money and who leave their house a lot.

This a a great thermostat. Works well and attractive, easy to read from across the room. The only downside is the setup was fairly difficult, the upside is the costumer service was fantastic in walking us through the setup. I would definitely buy this again.

Extremely easy to install. I know absolutely nothing about wires inside the wall. But I had it installed in less then 10 minutes. It took a little longer to get the app up and running on an android phone. But after a little work it's all working great!

It's plug and play if you have had a Honeywell previously installed, such as a newer home. It communicates / compatible with Apple HomeKit, and does so pretty well. It also has its own organic device application that provides pretty good control. Recommend.

I like the fact that it uses our phone gps to switch on and off to conserve energy.

I replaced my Nest with Lyric. I didn't like the idea of Google buying out Nest, I don't want my info sold. So I bough this Lyric. I Love it! Easy to install, easy setup and works great. My info is safe once again! PLUS the Lyric works with HomeKit which Nest does not.

Gps knows when im close to home and turns on. Can adjust frome anywhere love it

The Good: WiFi connection allows you to control the temperature remotely. Relatively cheap for a connected thermostat. The Not so Good: The geo- fencing feature is too limited. The only 3 settings are away, home and sleep. You set your sleep time. The problem is we get up early during the week but later at the weekend. The house gets too hot while we are still trying to sleep. I then decided to go back to a regular schedule but found all 7 days with 4 time periods were gone. Had to renter 28 times! Also sends an alert that the unit cannot connect to WiFi on a regular basis but in reality it is still connnected.

The Honeywell Lyric T5 is a great thermostat, app is good specially the GeoFence feature that allows you to have an "away" setting on your AC so when you drive away from the fence area the AC changes to the specified settings. As you cross the fence back in (returning home) it will crank up the AC to your desired home settings. The install instructions are clear the only warning is that it is a five (5) wire system that requires a common wire. How do you know remove the existing thermostat and if you see that you have only four wires you need an installer to help you out. I spoke with my AC guy who guided me through what I needed to do for my 20 year old unit. The system is great with apps on iPhone and IOS. I use iPhone and it is compatible to home so no more getting up to adjust temperature I can now do it from my Apple Watch.

This might not be as good as Nest but it does the job! Nice looking device on the wall with cool features like touchscreen and other common features you'll find in a wifi thermostat. Why buy an expensive one when this can do the job like the high end ones?!

PLEASE READ..... i did about 2 months of research to see which smart thermostat i wanted. i decided on this one because i did not want all the extra bells and whistles that the nest comes with. really think about all the features and if you will use them. this thermostat by Honeywell has the WiFi capability to access with apple and android. you can use home-kit or simply download the lyric app and go from there. it has been great and well worth the price. sometimes bigger is not always better and just because the nest advertising left and right and has the most expensive product also does not mean they are the best. Now is his t5 the best? maybe not the best on the market but it is a well built product that is made by a credible company that has proven to be great at what they do. Please try this product as you will not be let down!

Got this thermostat as a replacement to my current Honeywell Wifi thermostat. Very simple to install and use. I especially like being able to use Siri to adjust the temperature in my house. It is much simpler than opening an app and making adjustments.

Worth the money. Makes it easy to control the temperature of the house when not home and also very helpful with the schedule setup. Recommend to anybody wanting to get a smart thermostat.

I purchased the Lyric about less than a month ago, so I haven't seen any difference in my electric bill. However, I am anxious waiting to see a savings in the next few months. The item is easy to install and to monitor. So far I love my purchase.
