Customer Ratings & Reviews

This printer is easy to set up and works well for everyday printing at home. The print quality is good for documents and simple color prints. It connects easily to Wi-Fi and the size is compact, so it fits nicely on a desk. Overall, it’s a good value for the price.

The HP DeskJet 2855e has completely changed how I handle printing, scanning, and copying at home. This all-in-one printer manages to be both powerful and unbelievably easy to use — exactly what you want from a daily-driver printer. Right away, setup was a breeze. The wireless connectivity got me up and running in minutes, and the AI-enabled features make printing smarter and more efficient than I ever expected. Whether I’m printing documents, photos, or scanning receipts for work, this printer just gets it right without fuss. The print quality is excellent for the price range — crisp text and vibrant color photos that look great straight off the page. Even better, the wireless setup means I can print from my laptop, phone, or tablet without ever touching a cable. The HP Smart app makes everything smooth and intuitive, letting me manage jobs, monitor ink, and even set up voice-activated printing with ease. The compact design is perfect for a home office or living space where bulky printers don’t fit. It doesn’t take up much room, but it’s powerful enough for everyday needs — school assignments, work documents, photos, and more. What truly sets the DeskJet 2855e apart is how reliable and smart it feels. The AI enhancements mean fewer mistakes, better alignment, and clearer prints without constantly adjusting settings. Scanning and copying are just as user-friendly, and the overall performance feels far above what I expected for its price. Overall, the HP DeskJet 2855e is one of the best all-in-one printers I’ve used for everyday home use. It’s fast, capable, and effortless to operate — and that combination makes it a winner in my book.

Very impressed with this printer! The print quality is clear and sharp, setup was easy, and it works smoothly without issues. It prints fast and is perfect for both home and office use. Definitely a great purchase for the price!

This printer is a little slow at times, and the setup was a bit more complicated than I expected, especially with the Wi-Fi printing. I did run into an issue getting that part to work, but I was able to get around it by connecting the printer with a cable instead. Since then, it has worked great for exactly what I need. I was even able to print that way without having to go through a complicated driver setup, which made things much easier. It fits well in my office space, which was something that was important to me. For the price, it does exactly what I wanted it to do, and overall I’m very happy with it.

The printer it's a great fit for a home office. The only reason I did not give the 5stars it due the code errors that you have to decipher. From a consumer perspective I just want to know in a message that I'm running out of ink and no need 0e3 flashing, remove add cartirage, turn off, turn-on.. etc. It can be simpler!

Ok,,I like this HP DeskJet 2855e because it’s wireless, Was quick to set up, and perfect for my needs. The AI-enabled features make it easy to use, and the all-in-one design handles my needs . The included Instant Ink months are a huge bonus. The size is perfect for my Bedroom I rent.

The printer is very nice, very lightweight, super easy to use. It was super convenient coming with the ink as well. Great for the price. Has a lot of options.

The printer is great and works great too. Very easy to set up and prints in color and black & white.

Easy to set up and fast printing, works great for small prints like shipping labels and text but is not good AT ALL for larger works like pictures or graphics, the printer will print half of the work or less and the sheed will pass through the printer blank.

Interfacing it with my computer was quite easy. Confusing at first, just because I'm more used to hard wiring. But once I got into the rhythm, of connecting. on site. it was quite easy and print quality. is pretty nice. and prices are pretty reasonable. Technology is quite an extraordinary thing.

Its fairly quick to set up and get rolling. Uses up smart so you can print from your phone if needed. Scanner works well. Paper feed can get stuck when printing dozens of pages.

I needed an easy, low-maintenance printer…FAST. This printer was HORRIBLE trying to set up! It took longer to set this printer up than to ship it to my house. The fact that you have to download the buggy HP APP to print is ridiculous! It’ll print when it wants to print. I like to say a wee prayer and sweet talk the temperamental machine before hitting “Print”. Tax season made me do this..I wish I wasn’t so desperate for a printer.

Love it. I bought it because I needed something wireless to sit on my desk and it works great. Prints quickly and it’s not too big to fit on my 40 1/2 x 20 inch desk. The ink is also not as expensive as other printers, ranging around $18 for black ink and $19 for tricolor. Also comes with two cartridges of black and colored ink, which is a plus. Overall, great product!

This printer replaced a 12-year-old, similar model. The old one was still working, but it couldn't recognize certan aspects of Windows 11. I really dislike this new printer because the paper-loading slot is narrow and does not accept paper well. Whether I try to insert 1 sheet or 5 or 10, they always get caught and do not progress through the printer. Removing and replacing bends the bottom edge of the paper, making it even more difficult to re-insert. And if you need to place the back of the printer close to the wall, it makes the problem even worse because the slot will be only a few inches from the wall, making it hard to see where the paper should go without banging your head on the wall. Also, the flap that covers the loading slot is hard to grasp because it's smooth and has no finger hole (I had to make a tab with some tape so I could open it). The only good thing I can say about this model is that it operates very quietly - when I can get the paper to move on through! Don't buy it, even if they offer free ink.

Great printer glad I decided to buy it. Works very good.

I bought this printer to fulfill my home and office needs. It’s worth it for this price to include print and scan functionality and ease of use using mobile device app. Overall recommended for anyone looking for printer in this price range !

This printer is undoubtedly an excellent value, even more so with the included extra month of HP Instant Ink. However, there are some minor issues—the printer requires alignment often for best print quality, and printing speed is slow for black-and-white at better qualities, as well as all color prints. That said, I maintain that there is seldom a better choice to be found within this price range.

My Desk Jet 2855e wireless is absolutely the best printer I’ve ever had. It’s so quick I can’t get to my documents before the printer is done!

Everything was set up good plug in right and works well with my ho computer

I only paid 49.99 for this printer. I hooked it up and it works. Ive only printed a few pages so far and it printed fine. I dont print that often. I was scared buying it because of price (you get what you pay for.) Sooo if you do not print alot it is a good printer.
