HP Fan says Great for the Sale Price

I'm an HP fan, so please take that into consideration when reading my review. I purchased this laptop to replace my HP 14" 2 in 1. There is nothing wrong with it besides it's five years old and my eyes are five years older, so I needed a bit bigger screen. I love that laptop and will be keeping it. I have ZERO cons about that model. 1. PRICE. I purchased this laptop while on sale--a good deal which makes me more likely to like this computer! I'm not sure I'd be as satisfied with the computer had I paid full price. 1. KEYBOARD. I don't need or want the number pad, so I appreciate the "small" keyboard. If you need the number pad, keep looking. I like that there are two brightness settings on the backlit keyboard. CONS. Why on earth did they put the power button next to the delete button? I unfortunately use the delete button a LOT. I'm not a fan of how HP set up the Home and End buttons on this model, either. I suppose they had to make room for the Co-pilot button. Keys are responsive and make just the right amount of sound--I want to hear my keys when I type! 2. TOUCHPAD. If you are a fan of touchpads, this model has what I consider to be a generous-sized touchpad. I ended up turning mine off when doing lots of typing--I rarely use the touchpad, anyway. What's a potential con to me may be a big pro for you. I didn't realize how much I rest my wrists on the laptop until I purchased this model. 3. POWER CORD. I do like the new "wrap-able" cord, as it makes a lot of sense for lugging a laptop around. I also appreciate that it's a USB-C. Definitely use the 65w if possible 45w is a snoozer. (Of course, follow manufacturer requirements and directions. I'm no electrician. I have no idea about wattage and such.) 4a. SCREEN (VISUAL). I'm a big fan. Good color, clear graphics. No cons. 4b. SCREEN (TOUCH). I'm a bigger fan. How do people survive without a touchscreen??!! Responsive. No cons. 4c. SCREEN (FLIP). Love this feature. Wouldn't be without it. If you're wondering about durability, my 14" 2 in 1 is going strong after five years, flipping without issue. I assume this version will be no different. 4d. SCREEN (PEN). Um, there is no pen. So, if you think this comes with a pen, you will be sad and that'll be a con. 5. BATTERY. I don't leave my computer plugged in when I'm not using it unless I'm charging the battery. I usually work about an hour or two at a time and then turn the computer off. Battery life seems as advertised. I thought it was a little slow to charge but that's not a big deal. 6. SPEED. Gotta say this computer is a whole lot faster than my previous HP. So, I'm comparing an old computer to a new model... I would certainly hope speed would be improved! 7. WEIGHT. It's four pounds. 'Nuf said. 8. SPEAKERS. Well, they are computer speakers. Not exactly something for listening to hours of music. I wear headphones for video chats, so I can't speak to how the speakers are for Zooming or such. (I'm spoiled by my previous laptop, as it had actually music-worthy speakers.) 9. MICROPHONE/CAMERA. No issues experienced during video calls. I like that the camera has a build in cover--no more using a sticky note to keep my privacy! Would I buy it again? Yes, but only at the sale price. It's a great computer for the on-sale price. It works as advertised. I have no doubt it will last me for many years to come. Now, if I could just convince HP to move the power button back to the side of the computer instead of sticking it next to the delete button.....

Overall Good value when purchased for $650. Fast, quiet (except when bios updates), display nice and touch screen works well with mpp 2.0 stylus. Windows 11 takes more memory than Win 10 so free ram is less. Nice to have 1tb ssd. Battery life very good.

I needed a new laptop as my old one fried the charging port. I bought this HP and it works great. Fast and efficient. If there was a drawback it would be that it does not have a keypad on the side. Not a huge deal as I have a bluetooth numeric keypad that I utilize. The battery last most of the day. The screen is bright. I am not used to the touch screen and occasionally bump it and send it scrolling. Makes me laugh and I am just adjusting to it. For the price of this machine I would buy it again.
