Sticking with HP in the printer world has always seemed a smart choice to me. Mother needed a new printer that would be Windows 10 accessible, and this fit the bill. Love the finish, was declared a tad "cheap" by reviews online but when pulled out of package was surprised to see it was a cleaner finish then described. More efficient then her previous unit, with faster scanning options then expected. The touch pad options menu is a bit different, but it works efficiently and seems easy enough to grasp for those who aren't used to it. Having the option to be able to print something back at home, while out and about, via your phone is definitely a cool option for "busy bodies." If I were to write anything of concern for prospective buyers, it would be: 1. Understand this machine's width. It is a wider machine then I expected and barely fit her desk area. 2. The printing tray method, while not concerning in terms of how much the flipper could hold, needs to be noted in any living space as well. In areas where users could be walking through consistently, like a business space, the unit's flipping out tray could be a concern and potentially damaged. That is a perception thing on my part, so it'd be smarter for future purchasers to allocate space in an office to allow freedom of movement, with the system undeterred. However, the benefit of this tray is that it is easily put away to minimize the larger then expected footprint when not in use. So far, works great a few months in! Easily turns on/off as well, if some people find slow shut downs bothersome.

this printer has made many improvements from previous models. i like that the paper is inside of it instead of hanging off the back of it in a floppy tray. it is a bit bigger than the one i had before but lower too. i like the little paper catcher comes out on its own in case i forget to pull it out so i am not picking paper off the floor now. i signed up for the instant ink too thru hp and it has been awesome to not worry about running out of ink.

It's compact, not too bulky. Just learned how to print from phone. Im happy with this purchase

Able to join an ink club with printer. This printer was a much better price The my last one and faster and easier to use.

We have an old Mac that's at least fifteen years old. The printer broke down and we couldn't get it replaced. So we needed to buy a printer that was compatible with our laptops but would fit in the same workspace as the old printer. This suited our needs quite nicely. We can send all jobs WIRELESSLY to the printer from anywhere in the house. It's fun to watch our son run up the house stairs and try to "beat" the printer. If you're looking for a good, cheap replacement printer, this is for you. Highly recommended.

I love this printer. It is a sleek compact and quiet printer. The best part is that the paper holder automatically falls out right before is getting ready to print. It was so easy to set up I did not even need to use a disk or go online. Very happy with my purchase.
