good but ink thirsty

However the cartridges that it came in with are empty after I would say <100 pages., Nothing picture-like. That might be bad ink or something. Also the HP 'subscription' for INK did not work and was overly complicated to understand. Sounds good, but come on - make it simple! I gave up trying to subscribe as the HP website was kicking me out. Scanning is good quality

Reliable printer

It is very user friendly, and prints faster than my former printer did. It seems to be a good basic printer, without a lot of complicated extra stuff - perfect for basic home use.
