The HP Envy7640 all-in-one wireless printer Is easy to set up and operate

This printer works exactly as advertised. I have printed everything with it, including documents, address labels and pictures from 4x6 to 8x10. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This printer replaces my HP AIO printer, and I love it. I liked the last one as well, but it always did a lot of see-sawing whenever you turned it on or printed something. This one does a little adjusting when powered up, but not nearly like my other printer, it is very acceptable. This printer is very user friendly and I love the sleek design. Not one complaint so far!

I have a little trouble with the on/off button and sometimes it doesn't automatically come on when I print from my computer. To fix I pull the power cord and replace. I think it's because I'm connected wireless and I should probably just get a cable. I had a Canon Pixma prior to this and the print quality is much much better. Self feeder is nice and a big help with my work from home.

I was looking for a scanner/copier/printer with a feeder to replace my favorite from years ago. The last 2 I had were inadequate in one area or another. This HP Envy 7640 has fit the bill - including an excellent price for all the features.

I used to have the Hp laserjet which I loved but I needed to downsize to a smaller printer that would have the same quality and printing settings as my laserjet. And this Envy Hp printer definetly does the job amazingly! I would recommend it to anyone, and you can scan directly to an email address and it scans as a pdf which to me is very essential to have! Love this printer!

This a good wireless printer for regular printing and photos.

So far, using this as a secondary printer until my old printer uses up its ink, this prints and scans fine. I haven't, and don't plan on using the fax option. My problem was connecting via WiFi. I had the printer about 10 feet from my router and spent quite a bit of time troubleshooting when wifi wouldn't connect. I finally had to resort to calling technical support which I never do, and the first thing I was instructed to do was move the printer 5 feet from my router, and voila it connected fine. I live in a large home and connect fine all over the house with smart TV's, smart DVD player's, Roku's, smartphones, etc., all without a problem. I view that as a defect, for the printer to have to be that close to the router. I suspect it is a common problem that technical support must hear of a lot based on my experience. Just be aware.

Needed to replace the Canon printer for the home computer which finally died after many years of use. Did my usual online research and narrowed the search down to a couple of models. Went off to Best Buy to consult with the sales staff Ended up buying the HP Envy 7640 All in One Printer. The copy quality is very good. Not sure if the print quality for pictures would be as good as the Canon but that's not a huge need for us. Love the automatic two-sided copying feature and the ability to print wirelessly from devices. While we haven't had the printer all that long, it seems like a real winner for our needs plus the HP Instant Ink repalcement plan seems like a great concept too! The HP Envy was on sale and I also got a discount for trading in my old Canon printer. I got a great deal and couldn't be happier.

Great printer for the price. Easy to setup and add devices

Exchanged a deal of the day printer as it was taking 5 tries to print every time and the wi-fi was poor. However, upgraded to this printer and found it already much easier to set up and utilize printer capabilities from both my tablet and phone which is a great feature for social networks and online accessibility to print pictures from anywhere as long as your printer is on.

I bought this as a wireless upgrade for my home office and it has not disappointed. This is perfect for scanning and occasional printing, not for heavy duty output. I would definitely recommend it for a home office or student.

We bought it pre-Black Friday for over $100 below retail. With that said, it's awesome. Color photos and plain text look great. Set up was super easy, and we print wirelessly from iPads, iPhones and our Mac desktop with no problems.
