Very easy to set up, great printer for the price. The printer is compact and doesn't take up much room.

I recently purchased an HP Envy Model 7640 printer to replace another HP printer (Photosmart Premium C309g-m) which was approximately eight years old. Although I was initially skeptical, the new HP printer is a dramatic improvement over the previous printer. It was also reasonably and competitively priced. To date, I have been very pleased with the high quality of the prints and with the ease of usage.

Having purchased several other brands and styles of printers in the last few years with limited success, I am happy to report that this HP has been excellent so far. Easy to use, great quality prints and efficient use if ink. It would receive 5 stars from me if it were a year from now and still doing the same. Highly recommend this product (so far).

We decided to replace our printer since the newer ones cost less than getting new print heads. I wanted one that did everything our older one did but was smaller and less bulky. This printer does all of that, plus it prints high quality photos which my other one didn't. Very convenient to quickly make someone a photo copy when desired. We like the printer enough to buy a second one (one model down without fax) for our second home.

We bought this printer because our old printer stopped working. When looking for printers, our needs were pretty basic and didn't want to spend a fortune. Best Buy had this one on sale at a great price! We were surprised we could get such great features (wireless, usb port, SD card port, print/scan/copy) for what our budget would allow. I would definitely recommend this printer for anyone looking for an all-in-one for their house.

Easy installation, I can print with my I phone no problem. Send and receive faxes. Great buy.

This is a great compact printer which allows one to print, fax, scan, copy and also print photos. My favorite feature is being able to print wirelessly over my cell phone from any room in the home. Set up was very easy and I have not had any issues. It also came with a one month free subscription to the HP ink program which is very helpful as I no longer need to go to the store to buy ink.

I bought this printer as a replacement for another HP printer that died way too soon. It was very easy to set up to my wireless network. It looks nice and the case seems to be of higher quality than my previous HP. I primarily use it to print from my iPhone and iPad. I have an occasional need to print 4x6 color photographs so I thought that having a separate paper tray for photo paper that slides above the 8 x 11 paper tray would be a plus, but so far it has been my only annoyance. If this smaller photo paper tray is not in exactly the right position when choosing to print from the 8x11 tray, I will get a message that the tray is empty, when in fact there is plenty of paper. Could be user error, but so far I have not found a solution. The downloaded manual does not reference a solution either. On the other hand, the color and crispness of the print is fine and overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Super easy to set up. WIreless connection was fast and simple. The option for remote printing seems neat, but probably not too useful. I can't imagine very many scenario's where I need to send a document to my printer when I am not at home, but never say never. The option to top load documents for scanning/copying/faxing is very nice. Not that I need to fax from home very often, but it's a great option to have. The print quality is more than adequate as well as reasonably quick and the dedicated photo paper tray is a nice feature. It is also a lot more quiet than my previous printer while printing. While not specific to this model printer the HP instant ink program is also a great feature. No more remembering while at the store that I need ink and not having a clue what ink to get. Instant ink provides automatic home delivery at a very reasonable price. All in all this is a very nice all-in-one machine.

Such an easy set up and great print quality. I love the auto slide out paper support when printing. Love the fact that I can print out from my iPhone or iPad as well as my laptop. Only two ink cartridges rather than the 5 I had with my old printer. Haven't used the fax yet. Great printer and even greater price for the high quality.

So far all I can say of this printer is that it is a much more quiet printer than the hp it replaced. Very easy to setup and get connected. Took less than 10 min and away we go. Print quality is very good. Was able to have cell phone connected within 10 min as I do use my phone to surf and print info right to this home printer while I'm away . Longevity will be the next review. Can't say yet. Still a good printer.

I love this printer. Easy to use and can print from my phone too. Separate paper tray for photo paper makes printing from paper to photo printing without the hassle of changing from paper to photo paper. I was looking for an instant ink printer all in one. I print lots of pages since I homeschool. So happy with my purchase.

It is what I need for my use. It is easy to work and the ink cartridges are not too expensive. The color is good. I really like that it prints on both sides of the paper. That saves on the paper. For a person that is not that printer savy it is easy to work with

Based on the price, I had some speculation regarding how this printer would actually perform. I an now tell you that this printer is just what you need for home use. Flawless printing, print from other devices, quick and versatile. For the price, you will be hard pressed to find a better alternative. I would highly recommend!

My other HP printer bit the dust. Did my homework on line on HP printers. Looked at reviews, speed of printing, how long cartridges last, different features the printer offers. Found the same printer on line with Amazon, took it into Best Buy and did a price match. No questions asked. This printer is great. Very quite, great quality of print, goes in sleep mode when not in use. Well worth the money.

I bought this printer on sale for $99.99. I love it so far. It's wireless so I can print from my laptop, android phone and ipad. Easy to set up. The automatic scanning is rather slow, but I don't plan on using the feeder much. I don't know the cost of replacement cartridges just yet as I don't need them yet. Comes with a small pack of photo paper. I likely won't use that because I'm sure it sucks up the toner.
