Well made; good quality printing; easy setup; quiet.

I purchased my printer when my 6 year old printer started malfunctioning. I searched for several weeks to find a multifunction printer at a low price. After checking many websites and local stores, I decided on the HP Envy 7640.. It was on sale at BestBuy and it has print, copy, scan and fax options. It was also less bulky than the Office Jet printers. Easy to install, easy to use. Works great!

Prints well, easy to set up, convenient wireless, and the printouts look quite nice.

HP has kept up with all the recent developments in desktop printers. This printer is wireless and can easily be connected to a fax line. As with any new device, careful reading of all documentation is recommended before starting any project, but once the basics have been learned, the touch screen on the front of the printer as very efficient for selecting the operation needed.

I wanted an HP because I didn't want a printer with separate ink cartridges for each color. The knowledgeable no pressure sales staff stirred me toward this model. It was super easy to set up the wireless printer. Quality of copies, prints, and photos is excellent. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The printer has a small footprint. It was easy to set up and print quickly.

This printer replaced an older HP printer. The quality of the printouts are really good. I like that it can do double sided prints. I also like that I can connect this printer from my PC or phone via WIFI. I have not used the fax portion but I have used the copy feature and that seems to be pretty good. The quality of the photo pictures could be better but it is decent for pictures.

Purchased the HP Envy 7640 all in one printer. My old printer just quit working. I have had the printer several months, and it is a joy to operate. I have experienced no problems with this printer. I also like the feature that the printer requires only two ink cartridge. Does what I need a printer, fax, and scanner to do as an all-in-one printer.

This printer replaced an older HP printer whose print heads went bad. Wish the other one had broken sooner. This printer is so much faster and quieter, and the print is much better. Haven't used it for pictures yet but printing envelopes works well. Setting up was easy, too, with no problems. I don't consider myself very tech savvy so I appreciated the easy set up. Highly recommend.

i am an83 yr old female and this was easy for me to set up. Am pleased with the results of the HP Envy all in one printer. I told a friends son who works for HP in Houston after I purchased it and he said that is the very model he chose for his personal printer. Made me feel good that the Best Buy clerk explained this printer so that I chose to purchase it. Good Buy at Best Buy!!!

I searched and compared so many printers and finally decided on the HP 7640. Set up was easy. I did however hard wire it to my pc via ethernet. The whole reason for buying this printer was to be able to print from my Iphone and I pad wireless. It works perfectly and the HP app works great on my Iphone 6. I have tried printing double sided, scanning, and copying and all functions work perfectly. I have not tried printing pictures or faxing but then again I did not buy the printer for these 2 reasons, they ended up being a bonus. I don't print often so the ink could dry up. All I do is print a page once per week and that seems to maintain the effectiveness of the ink. I considered a laser printer but all the ones I read about had some kind of an issue and I figured I wanted something more reliable yet was a 4 in 1 printer.

This is a very good item to buy for the average day family, The printer is easy to use and setup. This printer prints out good quality picture and the savings are great. The printer is great to print out book reports and projects. The USB hookup makes it very easy to transfer information from your iphone and camera to print out. We are enjoying and having fun with this printer.

Overall this printer is great. Probably not the fastest but certainly fast enough for what I use it for at home. I love the wireless functions and being able to print from my smartphone. This is a great printer but it has frozen a couple times on me where I've had to power it down and restart it but it always ends up working great. Would have given 5 stars if not for the freezing issue

My new Envy is different from my "old" printer so it took me a few to set it up, but now we are very pleased. I'm still working on photo printing which so far works best from my PC. We used it to copy some old documents to share with family and was very pleased. Excellent product especially for the price. But then again, my last hp was very good too and lasted for years.

I had an older HP (office jet 6110 xi) that died after almost 10 yrs or more & never had an issue. I purchased the HP Envy specifically for the ability to print pictures and other documents wirelessly. This printer was also very easy to integrate into my home network. This printer has got great features for people that know computers and very easy to use that aren't as sharp.

When my Officejet J6480 died I was very disappointed. It was my first Wi-Fi printer. I needed a printer fast and the Envy was on sale at Best Buy. The sales staff enthusiastically promoted the printer and I am not disappointed a bit about following their recomendation. It is sleek, fast, easy and quick to setup, and easy to use. Now I am happy that my Officejet J6480 broke.

Love, love, love this printer. The direct print from my iPad and the direct print to an email is the best feature I have come across in a printer. The printer was easy to set up and was printing from my computer, iPad and phone within minutes.

Was guilty of keeping an old HP printer ( 7 years ) too long. Still worked, but was inefficient and didn't stay connected to new Windows versions on my laptops or work well with mobile devices. Now the HP's connect nice, web print, phone print, and eprint. Can now print from computer, phone, tablet, all of them. Giving the ink subscription a try, looks like good deal so far.

For the price, this printer is terrific. This is my first wireless and it works great. I opted to take advantage of the HP Instant Ink program and though I haven't had the need to replace ink yet, it's nice to know that it's already available. The price of the ink is very reasonable under this program. I don't print a lot, but I think this will meet my needs just fine.
