Good starter gaming pc works well so far I have not had any problems

Got for Xmas gift and thus far kids are enjoying it.

It is a great gaming pc. It does have a 1650 which uses the PCIE X16 instead of a 4-4 pin power plug. has a 400w psu that will have to be upgrated if you want to upgrade anything higher than a new SSD. it has a 512GB M.2 NVME SSD that is very fast, i did ad in another 1TB SSD. Their a 3 SATA plugins and only 2 power plugs for storage. on idle CPU is at 122*F (50*C), and GPU at 87*F (31*C). Under load, CPU 122*F and GPU 122-130*F. The front LED is not color changing (RGB) but does have 2 modes and different speeds of strobe. Over all a solid PC and good for a first PC

Its and over all great system, The graphics are relatively smooth with good fps, However, if you plan to play more games like pubg fortnite or any online battle royal that has half way good graphics you will need to upgrade the ram from 8g to 16g and a higher frequency rate (Im using 3000 speed) that seemed to fix alot of lag and over play-ability of the system. Its a good starter but if upgrading is something you are considering then consider starting another build for this system is pretty built around HPs standards and no one else's

If you really need a fast SSD then ont buy it. HP ist restricting the ssd lanes to 2 lanes so you always will only get the half speed. HP forum is full of people complaining about but HP doesnt care. You cant change it in bios either because HP restricted the advanced settings (and the hints on internet dont work anymore).

I ought on black Friday 2018 lasted a year before the video card stopped working. Will get it fixed but will never buy another.
