After purchasing this item the wireless aspect was terrible. always cutting off. The solution was to restart the printer...over and over again. After several calls to support, I finally found a tech with the solution. It was the router causing all the problems of constant loss of wireless connection. This was because the router and my macbook pro were not communicating properly. I swapped out the router (Time warner Cable), PROBLEM SOLVED! Has not been a problem since. connection is always live. I can now happily recommmend this printer...scanner is great and fast, printing is great and fast and finally wireless is reliable and does not drop out.

I replaced an identical unit with a new one. The old one started getting a "printhead not detected" error which I deduced was a failure of the spring ribbon cable. Cheaper to buy new unit than fix. I tried to just plug in new one, and go. It didn't work. I had to reinstall printer driver which was easy enough, but it set off all kinds of problems with my Window's 7 operating system. My computer kept losing it's internet connection and experienced frequent lock ups. I did not select std installation (printer on network with internet connection) Other than that, printer is reliable, & fax is easy to use. I am a not a believer in cloud storage as in the cloud your data is not yours anymore.

After recently purchasing this printer to replace one that was terrible, I'm pleasantly surprised. As a graduate student, I was hesitant to spend even this much on a printer, but for the price (sale price) it was a great deal, and is working out well. The printer is great, it's fast, it's really quiet, and according to all major technology and consumer report websites it spends less ink than a lot of other printers. I've tried all the functions, including the air print, which is really cool, and while I haven't had to replace the ink yet HP ink for this printer is pretty cheap compared to some of the others as well.

LOVE LOVE this printer. Only took a few minutes to set up and to program for my wifi and my phone. Prints in seconds and isn't as bulky as I thought it was!

Easy set up and use. 1 year old and going great. Not like the Epson it replaced. Seriously I'm glad I bought in this price range. Lower priced copiers are too cheap.

Very easy setup. Just plug and play. I've only used it for printing so far, but it has been flawless. Prompts are easy to follow, and it's not very noisy. So far, I love it.

When our previous printer acted like an alien from outer space, we dreaded having to buy a new one. What a great surprise it was! I, a confirmed technophobe, easily set it up. It works like a charm. Why had we waited so long before we got the OfficeJet Pro 8710?

I must say I was pleasantly surprised at the quality that I received from the sprinter. With the addition of the ink program makes it a breeze. The The printer sends a signal which alerts the ink program to send doing marvelous idea you will love this printer

Works as intended. Great for copies, scanning and general printing. It has a nice modern design and works great. I have last years model at home and got this for a 2nd unit in another location because I liked last years model a lot. This is a good unit too!

Purchased this all in one printer and love how user friendly it is! Good quality prints, fast and very easy set up! Great device at a fantastic Best Buy price!

This HP device works very well for printing wirelessly, copying, and scanning to files. It is fairly quiet during operation. Ink is easy to install.

This is the 4th up printer I have running at this time. I buy hp so they can all share the same ink. I bought an Epson a couple years ago (got sold it) and the print quality was awful! My hps have been so much better. I print almost everything draft mode.

I purchased this and was out of town, so didn't get it set up until a few days ago. The setup went fine and this printer is superior to the printer that I have been using. It prints much faster and holds much more paper than my previous printer. Ask me again in a month. So far I am very pleased with this purchase. By the way, it was a young man from the Geek Squad that went over all of the printers so that I could make a choice. I appreciated the fact that he did not push me one way or the other. He let me decide. Thanks!

Does everything I need in a small footprint and for a good price. - Print from my mobile devices and PCs. - Print in duplex. - Print black and white and color. - Copy. - Send and receive faxes. - I have recommended to other family members.

I am highly pleased with this printer. The quality of print is better than the average person would normally require. I love the wireless feature on this printer. I had to identify my network and password every time my old printer or wifi went off line. This one automatically stays connected after initial set up. The quality of print for photos is also very good! I am also pleased with the amount of printing you get out of the ink cartridges. Ink cartridges are slightly higher than my previous printer ink cartridges but seems like I get more out of them.

I was searching the market for an all in one printer that had the capabilities of an office printer but could also fit on the desk in my office at home. This printer fits perfectly next to my monitor and I do not have to move it around to make copies or scans. It is also wireless so it is easy to print from my phone and laptop anywhere in the house. Printer quality is perfect so far. Only downside is the software interface on the actual printer. It would be nice if you could change more settings on the printer itself.

Printer works well in all modes and also prints much faster than the prior HP printer that I had which only lasted a little over 2 years before it stopped working. HP rep at store stated this was one of their workhorse printers that has a history of lasting over 3 to 4 years. We shall see.

This printer was easy to set up and gives quality printing. It prints easily from our iPads, iPhones, laptop and desk top wirelessly.
