Granddaughter got money for graduation and birthday. Wanted Mac book for graphic design. Budget would not allow. Thanks to a great sales person (Ann) in Wilson NC, we found this HP. The size and features which includes touch screen fit the bill. It's low on Hard drive space, which can be added with external drive. Great price, fit her budget.

I have had this laptop for 9 months and it has been a good device. It runs fast. It is a nice size and weight. Big enough to work on, but very slim and light. I wasn’t sure if I cared about the touchscreen capability, but now I use that more than the keyboard. I have three and my kids broke one, so the protection plan actually saved me on this.

This is a great and sturdy laptop. It has great battery life and can be used as a tablet. The only issues that I have with the laptop are sometimes the glare on the screen and you have to adjust it. Also, the loaded software can be a pain loading other programs but is easy to workaround.

I got this laptop because the one I have is too heavy to carry around in a backpack, this one is awesome. It is light and starts up quickly. A great price for something to carry to school, and it's all you'll need in specs for basic things like research and essays and watching videos.

For me the i3 would be too slow, but for my dad wanting to use it in Bible study and wen browsing it is perfect. He can easily carry this 2in1 back and forth to church or other locations and have all his materials withing easy access. He loves it. This is to replace a 3 year old model where the drive died, common with older spinning drives.

The laptop boots in less than 30 seconds. Nice to be able to start working so quickly. Speed is adequate for all the tasks I do. Touchscreen works well. The laptop seems heavier than I thought it would. The cooling fan is louder than it should be. All in all for a low cost laptop, it was a pretty good deal.

My daughter wanted a Mac my budget was for an HP. This laptop is amazing. My daughter loves how fast it is. She hasn’t mentioned the Mac anymore. It’s a great laptop for a college student or anyone for homework or just shopping and surfing the internet.

Purchased this for my girlfriend to use for digital design and crafting projects. It has worked perfectly with more than enough memory and storage to run all the programs she needs. The touch screen feature is fantastic and the battery lasts all day.

It is easy to carry as a busy graduate student who isnt tech savvy. It feels smooth to use. The touch screen feature is amazing, but it gets clunky when you flip sideways the laptop to use the touch screen feature completely.

I have only owned this laptop for about a week now but it’s very solid for the price. The design is fairly simple but the 2 in 1 capabilities add another layer of functionality and possibilities. The SSD and 8GB of memory boost performance a ton. The time to boot up and start using applications is very short and I like that the laptop didn’t come with a bunch of junk software to bog it down.

I bought this as a second laptop to share with my dad. He mainly uses it for checking his email and sharing pictures with my sister. For a $500 price point it has a ton of features. It has 8GB of memory, an SSD, and a 2in1 convertible with touch screen. It took less than 30 min to set up windows and download the updates. I'm pleased!

This laptop flips 360 degrees and functions as a tablet also with a touch screen. 14 inches seems very practical for transporting in a backpack between classes. Price wasn't too bad.

Beware - Pre-loaded Windows 10 Home S on Laptop

This laptop is nice, except it has pre-loaded Windows 10 Home S on it which prevents you from adding any software, apps, browsers, etc. except items in the Microsoft store. Which everyone knows is limited. You have to go through several unnecessary steps to load the full version. I believe when you buy a computer it should be ready to work. If you don't mind the extra work by all means purchase, but if you're like me want it ready to work out to the box, keep searching for something that already has the full version loaded.

During my first week of Physical Therapy school, my laptop decided to die. The sales associate was very helpful finding this replacement which best fit my needs. I love it's functionality and versatility for my class purposes. The touch screen allows me to write all over my professor-provided notes (pdf format) and keep up with lectures at the same time.

I bought for education and business use for my wife.
It is fast and light.
The setup was easy.
One dislike, There’s no RJ45 for Ethernet connection. Maybe I’m just old school.
