Solid state drive is awesome. Things load fast. Lack of optical drive will take a little getting used to, but flash drives seem to be the trend now. Good computer for basic use if you are not into gaming. Touch screen is really nice and the screen hinges are so much better than some more expensive models.

I always buy HP products because they last for a very long time, my last laptop I used it bot about 7 years. this touch screen makes my life easier and it is super light

My grandson is a freshman college student and this is perfect for him! The touch screen is a plus. Price is was an added incentive! Light and fashionable! Love it!!

Good buy for the price. The touchscreen is a nice feature and it's really fast but be aware that this PC is loaded with Windows 10 in Safe Mode meaning you can't add any app that isn't on the Microsoft store unless you permanently turn Safe Mode off. The touchpad is a bit unnerving and takes some getting used to, as is the small keyboard that should be backlit but those are minor inconveniences. I really love how compact and easy and fast this pc is though!

We purchased this laptop for my son in his first year of college. It's been a nice laptop, that's not heavy and is fast enough for anything eh needs to do.

Haven't used it much but specs are fine and is a nice device for young teen as first laptop. Would however have liked a larger drive. 128 Gigs is not really much to work with after system files and apps.

This does it all, touch screen, fast, lots of memory. Using this currently for photos and internet. Great features, easy to use and works without flaws.

I'm a 72-year-old tech-disadvantaged man who needed to replace a laptop that I had had for several years. All I needed was a new one that could let me e-mail, Facebook, Google search and Word, i.e., compose/write stuff. This has been just what I needed at a good price. I did need to call Geek Squad Support for help with a couple or three issues at the beginning, but I expected I would need to due to my lack of tech expertise.

I love my new laptop! It's so lightweight and easy to use. This is my first touch screen. My old laptop was an HP and this one is great!

This is one of the best laptops I had every had. Its light weather and tin rings around my old unit. The touch screen is a nice addition.

Getting this laptop was the best investment I've made for my granddaughter, it's lightweight, and my granddaughter loves the touch screen.

...that could use just a bit more power. I bought this computer on a budget, because my old one was freezing up and crashing far too often. I don't game or edit video, but it's not unusual for me to have two or three browser windows open, with up to a dozen tabs in each. That's in addition to an email app, Evernote, Spotify, and Windows Explorer all hard at work. This is a typical day, and when it's done I usually hibernate instead of closing everything and shutting down. At first this laptop kept up with it all, but after a couple weeks I've had the occasional hiccup. Apps freeze, for a moment or longer. My browsers are closed after returning in the morning. None of that has been a show-stopper, but it has encouraged me to get some additional RAM. I'm doubling it to 16GB. I've also added a 128MB memory card to augment the hard drive. So far, so good. That said, this machine is nice-looking and won't embarrass you in a conference room. I don't miss a backlighted keyboard. It's also relatively portable and lightweight, and works without a hitch if I keep an eye on how much I'm demanding of it. Not bad for the price. And HP hasn't burdened it with too much bloatware, which I appreciate. No regrets.

I love the touch screen and tablet transformation. Super easy to work with especially if you travel for work. And very light weight!

I will buy this again if I had to. Its fast and I like the 2 in 1. You can fold it like a tablet. Its touch screen. It works great.

We bought this laptop for my college bound daughter a year ago. Unfortunately, it was stolen during an International flight, but we loved it enough to re-purchase the same exact laptop last month, which was on sale for much less. My daughter loved the touchscreen and the fact that you can convert it to a tablet. The 1st one had a facial recognition security feature, but for some reason the replacement did not. The screen was clear and she didn’t experience any problems with it until it was stolen. I’m sure she uses it mostly to watch Netflix, but overall, the quality is great!

Laptop servers its intemded purpose well. Not a high-powered computer, but that's not expected at this price point. Some included software is burdensome.

My grandson who is in college lives this computer! Easy to carry in his backpack and take to school. Price was right too!!
