Customer Ratings & Reviews

Ordering process was easy. Shipping to my local store was quick. Arrived a day earlier than expected for pickup. Packed very well with extra padding. Setup was extremely user friendly. Several free trials as well as antivirus came with it. Battery life is good. Screen display is nice and size is adequate for a basic laptop. Processor is quick for what we intend to use it for (basic business & online sales) This is a nice lil gadget that won’t break the bank. We’d def recommend.

I bought this laptop a week ago specific testing if it can hold huge load of databases I am currently work on, with i5, 16gig I was not sure but give it a try considering the price was very reasonable. So far, I'm pleased and can recommend it. I give it 4 stars because a week is short time to give it a 5.

good, fast and does its job! has a lot of storage too

I purchased a refurbished hp ProBook laptop from best buy. They have so many options , which was amazing and also very helpful when i couldn't decide. So far I can say if anyone is looking at getting a new laptop, I strongly suggest giving a joy systems refurbished laptop a try, My laptop looks and works like its brand-new, but i didn't have to pay the price of a brand new one!! They seem to care about the product they put their names on and they care about their customers having a positive experience with them. I would recommend to my friends, family, coworkers, and i guess anyone because i feel they're honest and take care of their customers.

Works wonderfully. Very pleased with purchase. Arrived quickly

Very fast and easy to setup, looks like new,I recommend

I received something I was not expecting. Great value. 100% recommend for the price.

I was sent a laptop, not knowing it was coming from my third-party with very poor reviews of sending out computers that don’t even work. I thought it was coming directly from Best Buy. I get it and noticed that it would not update correctly. I knew from that moment that computer was not checked out at all. It wasted my time to me that is deceptive trade practices. You need to inform customers it is not from Best Buy.. The computer was shipped in plastic wrap without the original boxing and paperwork. That is beyond ridiculous and unprofessional.

The HP ProBook series continues to deliver a solid balance of performance, durability, and value—making it a top pick for professionals and students alike. Design & Build Quality: The ProBook sports a clean, professional look with a sturdy chassis. It’s built to handle daily wear and tear, with many models meeting MIL-STD-810H standards for durability. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, and the spill-resistant feature is a thoughtful touch for work environments. Performance: Equipped with the latest Intel or AMD processors, the ProBook handles multitasking well. It's ideal for productivity tasks like spreadsheets, document editing, video calls, and light graphic work. With SSD storage and 8GB or more of RAM, boot-up and load times are snappy. Display: The display is bright and clear, though not the most color-accurate—so it's great for business tasks but not ideal for high-end creative work. Most models offer 14" or 15.6" FHD displays with anti-glare coatings, which help reduce eye strain. Battery Life: Battery life is respectable, lasting a full workday under light to moderate use. HP’s fast charging feature is a plus, giving you around 50% charge in just 30 minutes. Security & Features: The ProBook comes packed with business-focused security features like a fingerprint sensor, TPM 2.0, HP Sure Start BIOS protection, and optional privacy screens. It's a smart choice for users who handle sensitive data. Ports & Connectivity: Plenty of ports, including USB-C, HDMI, and Ethernet, make docking and connecting peripherals easy. Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are standard in newer models, ensuring solid wireless performance. Final Verdict: The HP ProBook is a reliable workhorse—perfect for office environments, remote work, or educational settings. While it’s not built for gaming or creative professionals who need high-end graphics, it shines where it matters most: dependability, performance, and value.

I ordered the Probook 645 G5 14" laptop with 16gb of memory and intel core i5. So far the laptop runs smoothly, it is refurbished, looks brand new in really good condition. I use this laptop for my computer science class and was able to download python and visual studio and use them effortlessly. The battery charge is the standard 4 to 8 hours. The laptop does charge fast. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase and would definitely recommend.

My computer is been working excellent, I haven’t had any problem with it, it works fast and I love it, is not heavy and I can carry it in my bag.. Simple and easy

Upgraded from an old 2019 dell laptop and this computer is very fast. Good customization and the picture quality is great. The trim around the screen looks a bit dated, and it’s a bit clunky and heavy, but otherwise a great computer for the price. The keys feel smooth and you’d never know it was a refurbished computer.

This was an amazing deal. Laptop is like new and works great. Fast processing power. Big storage capacity and a lot of memory for multitasking.

I wanted a laptop to use in law school and I decided on this one because it had a good processor, decent memory, and was well within my budget. I had minimal expectations as I mainly planned to use it for classes and writing papers. I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this laptop! First off, I would have never known it was refurbished because it was in immaculate condition. Secondly, this thing went above and beyond what I needed. It has never once struggled or lagged. In fact, I can even play video games without issue! Very glad I made this purchase!

My computer is an HP Probook with serial number TA614960. This is an excellent refurbished computer for the price. I have been very happy with it so far. It operates faster than my previous computers and has much more storage. In the times I have called both Best Buy and Joy Systems, I have received good Customer service. Thank you for your service. Great laptop for travel. I liked 8th core i5 with 16GB Memory-Intel UHD Graphics 620- 1/2 TB SSD and I like the silver cover. Best of all I liked the price $309. I also liked the VGA port so that I can use my older monitors

Yes, it is refurbished. But I was impressed how clean and new it looks. After using this for a while I have no issues. It charges super-fast. I checked big discount store prices and this refurbished laptop offers the best bang for the buck. no regrets.

My laptop arrived quickly and in secure packaging. It looks to be in great shape and the startup process was quick. It’s heavier than I thought, but it also feels very sturdy. The specs checked every box and it’s a good deal. You get a lot of bang for your buck.

I recently purchased the refurbished HP ProBook 640 G5, and I couldn’t be more impressed! As someone who relies on a laptop for both work and personal use, I needed something reliable, fast, and durable—and this laptop definitely delivers.

I purchased this computer for under $250 (after taxes). This refurbished laptop came in pristine condition, looking essentially unused and of higher quality and specs than others in this price range. There were no scratches, additional packaging to ensure that none happened in transit. It was in better condition than I frequently see with refurbished and/or open-box items. When setting the computer up the same day, I encountered an issue during windows updates, where the unit BSOD during updates. However, after resuming, it worked as normal so it is difficult to determine if it is PC related or Windows update related. Now it has been a month since the purchase and it has crashed due to a memory failure recently when my daughter was using it to play Roblox. I am observing it closely and will be reviewing Minidump files and seeing if it was application based or hardware related. Having had terrible refurbished products in the past, the experience with this one is significantly better. That said, I'm watching to determine if the issues we saw are related to the hardware. I did purchase the extended full replacement warranty in case it turns out to have poor longevity. Overall, given the frequency of use my my 10 year old and her minimal understanding of how to make computers run optimally (like closing background processes and applications), this computer has done an "okay" job. I would give it closer to 3.5 out of 5, as I've had $2,500 computers have similar frequencies of issues related to Microsoft and Intel, not the laptop itself.
