Customers are impressed with the performance and graphics capabilities of the Gaming Desktop, frequently citing its speed and high frame rates in games. Many also appreciate the ease of use and relatively quiet operation, along with the competitive price point. A small number of users noted the absence of an optical drive and some concerns about the size of the computer tower. While some reported issues with the power supply, the overall feedback highlights a positive user experience.

Pre Built Gaming In Its Prime

This PC is a solid machine. I picked it up for college and as an early graduation gift. Its meant to serve as an all around machine that can let me do everything, even if its marketed as a “gaming desktop”. I picked this up at 899 on sale.
Pros:
- Solid right out of package. No problems
- Solid Mid Range Graphics Card
- 8th Gen i7 Intel Processor helps run anything fluidly
- Games run super nice at high/ultra settings.
- RGB lighting is super cool and a nice touch
-Sleek design with plenty of Ventilation
- Super Quiet
Cons:
- Wireless adapter isn’t premium, but gets the job done
- The graphics card installed in mine (GTX 1060) only had DVI ports, no hdmi
- Solid State Drive is pretty small at 120 GB, the 1 TB storage is nice, but you need to know how to set up and direct installs there if need be, and may not be as fast as the SSD or run games as well. I’ve had no issues doing so.
TIP!:
Make sure to plug monitor into graphics card. The graphics card in mine only had dvi ports, so i had to buy an adapter. If you plug into the motherboard, you aren’t using the graphics card, only power from the cpu. Once I was wired into the graphics card, I was hitting above 90 frames on any game really. Arma III, PUBG, games run great.
The Keyboard and mouse are acceptable as a bundle, but they aren’t premium. Useable? In my case yes, gaming was fine. Mouse is useable as well. Doesn’t take away from the purchase as a whole.

Best value for a prebuilt

I had never had a gaming PC before, just some basic PCs because i was never able to afford anything better. I decided i needed to bite the bullet and finally treat myself to a real computer. I tried finding parts to order and build my own gaming PC and to even match the specs of this PC with the same parts the price was already more than this pre-built. The value was the best out of any PC I could even find.
The graphics card is a Geforce GTX1060 and it optimizes games very well and has its own interface for custom optimization. I went from getting 20fps (playing World of Warcraft) to 110 FPS on ultra graphics before even optimizing. This machine is a beast and even though wow can run on anything it cant run well but it does on this computer. World of warcraft can also be very CPU intensive because it is an older game engine. The Intel i7 is an amazing step up from a basic i5 processor and its an 8th gen which features the 6 cores instead of 4 from older generations commonly found on other PCs. It handles the game great and I'm sure it would handle any current game amazingly as well.
I will Never looking back from this purchase, my games are a whole new experience now. There is also room for expansion in the case so this computer will last as long as I need it to since it can be built upon. Overall an amazing machine and completely worth purchasing.

Cannot be upgraded with RTX cards

Simply put the Gtx series of cards have a kind of divided tab that slots into your motherboard. However the RTX cards do not have this so they cannot be slotted in. Honestly don't understand why they would hinder upgrades like this. After a year of ownership I was happy and ready to take it to the next level but NOPE SO BE WARNED. I included pictures of the motherboard slot, what my GTX 1060 component looks like and a picture of the RTX 2060 I purchased so showcase the difference.

About a week after my 21st birthday, I assembled enough parts for my old Lenovo Desktop to attempt saving it. After 6 years of usage from my favorite computer, the desktop suddenly stopped working and would not send any video signal to any monitor that I hooked it up to, no matter how much time I spent cleaning and looking at every individual part in my PC. Sadly, I returned all of the parts I bought from my previous purchases from around my birthday back to BestBuy in hopes that someone else could benefit from the parts that I could no longer use. After I made my product returns, I walked over to the Best Buy electronics department at the Melbourne, Florida store location on Evans Road. There, I stumbled upon the iBuypowerPC TRACE940 - 1060 desktop computer sitting behind the electronics department checkout area. I eventually left BestBuy purchasing the iBuypowerPC TRACE940 and an ASUS 24 inch monitor. Long story short, I have never been this satisfied from a computer as much as when I turned this rig on for the first initial time. This PC can handle every game that I play with precision 60 frames per second, HD quality, smooth graphics, and more wonderful attributes. Additionally, this PC boots INCREDIBLY fast from what I WAS accustomed to. As an additional bonus, I failed to realize that this PC actually came equipped with a generous amount of USB ports, video outputs for my monitor, audio outputs for my Logitech speaker system, and an amazing array of LIGHTS! This is the best computer that I have ever owned. Thank you iBuypowerPC!

Exceptional Performance

I had purchased this product after having problems with the CyberPower PC AMD build. Oh did I regret not buying this Pre-build first. The power and speed of this computer is outstanding when considering this as an upgrade. Even if it only has 3gb of VRAM that is still plenty to give. I play plenty of games on high to max graphics. The only downfall I would think of is that it only comes with one case fan. Ventilation through this case is a big concern. There are plenty of case fan slots next to the motherboard, on the top part of the case and the front part. The front of the case easily snaps on and off for quick access and comes with 2 magnetic dust collectors inside the part where it snaps and on the top. There is another dust collector on the bottom back part of the case that slides out. I am extremely pleased with the current performance. This case definitely deserves attention and praise with its looks. The colors on the case definitely are pleasing to look at with several color options and brightness adjustments. There is a flash feature that rapidly changes the colors, a strobe that brightens and dims, a fade that slowly goes through the color cycles and a smooth that is just a slower version of flash. And plenty of space it has for upgrading options. There 3 more slots for SSD and 2 more with MDD. Overall I am pleased with this case and specs.

Awesome Little Machine

We needed some really powerful to run video and overhead for events and church services. As the tech, I was using my Gaming Laptop until it burned out, I told them for the price and what it runs, the church couldn't beat this. To my surprise when I opened the box I see MSi on the Graphics card, a big custom build case and Asus Motherboard!! They may not all be the exact same I'm not sure because this is a custom build company putting out these prebuilt units. Best of all it's all changeable with some expansion options open for more toys. If you Game or do a lot of high-end video work you can't beat this machine for the price!!
Thanks,

I have got this PC for my birthday early on 7/30/19, and I've loved this thing since.
I have had only one problem with it, but it was an easy solution. It didn't have to do with the PC, just my fault.
This PC can run almost any game you can think of with incredibly good graphics due to it having an NVIDIA GTX 1060. I have been running ROBLOX games, Minecraft with shaders and mods, Fortnite, and GTA V. All of these games were very realistic.
I would recommend this computer to anyone. Thanks, iBP!

This is a BEAST of a machine for what you are paying. Mine arrived in perfect condition with zero issues. All I had to do was some windows updates which did take me about 2 hours to get it all done but other than that this literally worked right out of the box.
- system was packed well for shipment, Including the inside of the case as well as padding was added so the components would not get banged around or come disconnected from their slots.
- Clean neat build with wiring where it needs to be, piratically out of site.
- super quiet, you cannot even hear it running.
- superior components
- As the OS is on the SD drive boot up is a flash
Love the system
I have loaded a few of the common games that I run a lot such as World of Tanks. 150FPS with everything maxed out, not a glitch, lag spike....NOTHING! and in HD
People may complain about the price but I can tell you as a person that has been in the IT industry for over 20 years, this is by far the best build you can get for the money and you will not be disappointed, it simply runs like a beast and will chew on any graphic intensive game you throw at it without issue..........PERIOD!

Great PC for regular gaming

Great PC for regular gaming. I can run GTA V on full graphics with multiple other programs running at once. I play a lot of FiveM gta and it runs everything super smooth with an average of 110 FPS. GTA v although old is a very demanding title. The intel 8th gen i7 8700 is great. I’ve read other reviews that it runs really warm sometimes up to 90°c but within this rig it is running max 60° with a low of 32° at idle. The gtx 1060 is great I just wish it was a dual fan set up on the gpu. The case has three extra fan mounts and the ASUS H310 motherboard has an extra unused chassis fan connecter. I’ve ordered two more fans to add to the cooling as it only comes with one exhaust fan positioned in the back, a CPU cooler of course and one fan on the gpu. It starts up extremely fast, with the powerful 2x8GB (16 in total) RAM ddr4 cards. I’m eventually planning to upgrade these though.
Overall I’m very happy with it, as it runs mostly anything you need to run and high to ultra settings.

I bought this about 3 months ago and wanted to make sure I had some time with it before leaving a review. After 3 months, this computer still does not disappoint!! After my HP gaming computer bit the dust, I took time looking into gaming computers that would not only play future titles for a while, but would also allow me to upgrade components without being restricted to an HP motherboard and only allow certain upgrades. I decided on this IBuyPower and haven't looked back. So far everything I have thrown at it has ran smooth as butter and I couldn't be happier! Only complaint, which is very minor, is that there isn't an internal optical drive. But for the price of those, and how much I love this PC, I just purchased an external one. Not even a big deal to me. I have seen reviews complaining about the keyboard and mouse that came with it. I will tell you that for at least a week, I tested the keyboard that came with it instead of using my gaming keyboard and the keyboard was fine. I have zero complaints with mine. I did eventually hook my keyboard up, but I'm keeping the one that came with it as a backup. As for the mouse, I actually liked it, and am still using it, while my more expensive gaming one is collecting dust!! The one I received has been smooth for me and I've had zero problems with it as well. Yes, it doesn't have the programmable numbers on the side, but I still have not been bothered with it that much to change it to mine yet! Overall, I say that this has been a wonderful investment for me!! As a first time buyer of an IBuyPower machine, I will definitely look into buying more of their products in the future!!

I have been trying to piece together a PC for several months now, mostly because it used to be cheaper. Not so much these days. So I was thrilled to find this prebuilt.
Out of the box, this runs great, installed and ran Forza Horizons 4 right away, looked and played great.
Here is the real reason I like this, and why I recommend it to people trying to attain that beast, without a few grand to play with all at once:
This gets you going for close to thousand bucks- Provided you have a monitor, and I would also recommend upgrading the keyboard and mouse is comes with.
Important thing is you have the core. Now in a few weeks, I will throw an 8 GB graphics card on it, after that a bigger SSD, and so on until the beast is attained, without coming up with the beast price tag all at once.
And in the mean time you have a great machine to enjoy that only gets better as you upgrade for years to come.

This was a great purchase. This computer is great for my gaming needs. It is very fast, with great graphics and a more than great processor. The lighting also adds a cool aesthetic. The price is a little steep but you'll expect that with all pre-built computers. Overall, this is an amazing computer.

Everything about this PC is great for the price ($900). I can play Siege, PUBG, etc at over 100 FPS on high settings at 1080p. My only complaint and this is mostly Best Buy’s problem is they have this listed as having 2 Display Ports which it only has one. Not a huge deal but I would’ve like to have gotten what was specified on the site. Lastly, the PC has an I7 7th gen sticker on it but I checked and it does have an 8th gen in it as specified as well. Again not a big deal but a little weird. Performs great, highly recommended if you see it on sale.

Was looking to upgrade my home PC to do media and gaming, while keeping the budget around $1000. Based on other reviews, I went with this model and it works great. I've used it with an Oculus Rift setup and had no issues. For a mid range computer with some upgrade potential (namely the GPU and RAM), I expect this to last me at least 3-4 years comfortably with minimal additional investment.
Some of my PCMR gaming friends scoffed when I said I went and bought this instead of building my own and I laughed at how illogical that was, for the following reasons:
- It was cheaper than individually ordering through a build-my-PC website
- Less hassle
- Arrived in less than 2 days, so less wait time
- Was on sale and received additional rewards through the Best Buy shopper program, allowing me to get a new gaming monitor as well (and still cheaper than the build site)
- Didn't have to assemble it
So I'm missing some falsely-inflated "pride" that I didn't physically put together my own PC, even though it's less difficult than a Lego set these days to do especially with sites that hold your hand for your parts purchases. But I gained a gaming computer that does everything I want on a budget and performs quite well. I recommend it.

Definitely good for a starter PC if you're not looking to build your own. A lot of the SPECs now in 2023 work decently for games coming out now. Definitely could use a few upgrades here and there but overall I'm still at its base specs and they're still a bit above minimum requirements for a lot of current titles.
