This was a great starter pc, it still can run most games very well but others its starting to show its age

This was a great deal! This PC was very easy to setup. Everything was prewired (minus the tower fan). I simply powered it up and in a matter of minutes it was ready for use. I am not a gamer but I develop games and application that require intensive processing. This PC built has the perfect specs to balance cost and benefit without compromising the performance that I wanted. There's a lot of space in the tower that will allow me to expand and upgrade parts in the future. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. The only issue I had was with the remote that controls the LED strips. It took a while to find a sweet spot for the sensor to pick up the IR signal.

This computer is a great value and easy to set up I have had no issues with set up and game play. Fast, great graphics, quiet and love the color changing lights.

I wanted a reasonably priced desktop PC to use not only for casual gaming but also to do my serious photoshop work on. I found the The iBuyPower Trace940 on sale at Best Buy for a screaming deal and I jumped on it. After a month of use, I am amazed at the power and speed improvement over my 6 year old machine. Everything from boot up to switching user accounts is blazingly fast! My gaming has experience has gone from 30 FPS at low graphics to 60 FPS at high! Best of all, my Photoshop and Lightroom run soooo much faster. This machine is a solid performance value and I am very pleased with it.

When on sale for $899.99 it's a stellar value for heavy, everyday home computing, streaming, and gaming that isn't entirely hardcore. Because the demand from cryptocurrency miners caused the GPU (graphics processing unit) market to inflate so badly, the above price for the entire assembly is lower than building a similar unit from scratch. The gaudy and glitzy LED light show is superfluous for our home and remains off. The case is big and dwarfs the visible contents, making contents look sparse and undersized. This leaves plenty of room for more boards, disks, and accessories . . . but personally, I would have preferred a larger motherboard that has four instead of two memory slots. At the above price, I cannot complain. We paired it with an HP, E230t, 24" touch-screen monitor and this Trace 940 now pleases the family to no end. Nice job, you folks at iBUYPOWER . . . Thanks.

Recently purchased this machine and have been very pleased since opening the box. The setup was very easy as everything was ready to go. The only drawback was that one of the cover screws was missing and the thumbscrew holding the bottom corner of the glass cover on was very loose. I contacted the tech service department, explained the problem, and the missing screw is on the way. I was very pleased with the customer service! Very friendly and professional! If not for the missing screw, I would have given the machine a 5-star rating. I built my last gaming rig, but do to the awesome sale price at Best Buy, this was a much cheaper option. It handles all of the older, as well as new, RPG and space sim games that I enjoy playing. I am very pleased with the purchase. I had purchased an IBUYPOWER machine in the past and was pleased with that one as well.

I love this computer for gaming. Anything I've thrown at it, it handles with ease. I got the 1060 and have no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade or just to getting into gaming! I got the student discount as well, so you can't go wrong with $150 off. It's easy to upgrade as well if you want to put in a 1070 or 1080. The keyboard is very smooth. The mouse is feels comfortable. If you're into light shows and LEDs, then this is for you. It comes with a remote to control the settings of light patterns.

A good mid PC, capable of running current triple A games and able to run League at 300fps on Ultra High and PUBG I think around 80 on highest settings. DOES NOT come with a disc drive even though 3 discs come with it.(Windows re-installation, ASUS cpu, NVDIA driver) but you don't need to do anything its plug and play. If wireless isn't working or is poor take out that WLAN adapter which is beige/white and plug it on top or in the back to a USB. This component is $4 so I imagine this is where a corner was cut rather than a wireless card. Not breaking but something you wouldn't expect from a gaming pc. Not "next gen wifi" like it says, same things gets used on DIY raspberry Pi projects. Also be sure to plug your monitor into the Graphics card for its capibility not the motherboard, i made that mistake. Overall im satisfied and dont regret this.

Unbelievable benchmarks, I am in love with this computer. I would recommend this PC to anyone. Very quiet, runs quick, and great for gaming.

This system is very easy to set up and is very fast. So far I'm very impressed with this system and the graphics and colors are awesome.

I bought this computer because I wanted a very powerful computer right out of the box. I’m engineering student so I need to run auto cad and other engineering software and this computer does it with a problem. Like most other college kids I like to game and this computer lets me play my favorite games like fortnite and call of duty on ultra settings without a problem. It has all the ports you can want and need it’s an amazing computer very well built, it’s a great price for what you’re getting.

I purchased this computer from Best Buy when it was on sale for 899.99. Let me tell you it is absolutely worth any price tag they put on it. It is completely out of the box ready from a beginner to even the most intense gamer. I love the graphics card, the processor and RAM in this device are well above expectations. Rebooting this computer takes all of about 35 seconds from shut down to logged back in. The only thing I wish I had done was get a larger SSD because this was my first computer with an SSD and I didn't realize I needed to save most files to the HD. Other than that I am in love and my family and my dogs love looking at the lights. Also came with a great gaming keyboard!!! I LOVE IT!!!

I'm a Graphic Designer and purchased this machine for my professional use for all the Adobe suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign in particular and this is a super fast and reliable computer that allows me to work in all those programs simultaneously without any loss of performance... Haven't had the chance to test the gaming capabilities but I'm saving time and being more productive than before using this superfast computer!

This is a great first pc. I can run all my games with a minimum of 60 FPS with no problem. It’s super quiet and the lights are really cool. Inside the case is vast with plenty of room for upgrades. The only two cons I could come up with are that the 120 gb SSD is a little small and there is only one fan. I haven’t run into heating problems however. And an upgrade to the SSD costs about $100. Over all I am extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Bought this today. My laptop was on lifesupport and had GeekSquad. They totaled it and gave me store credit. I knew about this gem the Trace940 because we just got one last month for our church. And I love it! Note these are put out by a custom company so no two are exactly the same. Mine has the Asus Prime mother board (so does the church pc) Mine has a seperate WiFi usb chip came in the bag (church pc has a wire zip tied to the frame inside and WiFi usb chip on the end) Mine has an Asus version Nvidia card with 2 HDMI, 2 other video ports and a DVi port [yes upto 5 monitors option] the church pc has a MSi card with 1 DVi, 1 HDMI, and 1 other video port [only 3 montor support] There is no way of knowing what card until you get it home and open it up. I can tell you it is well ventilated and there is mount holes up top for a second fan to be added just find a power source plug in. And a magnetic screen on top to filter dust. The lights are cool, remote to change color or strobe, flash, fade the colors. Mouse has a portion that color changes with the PC. Two step power up, flip the switch above the power cord on back then press the power button on top. Plenty of room for expansions as well. Two more spots for more hard drives to plug in, and 4 or 5 pci-e slots for a second graphics card or usb card etc... All in all you can't go wrong with this PC especially if you thought of building or having a custom rig built. And I alredy know the setup handles WoW, Overwatch, and Final Fantasy XIV online games with ease. Just pick up a external DVD or Blu-ray drive if you plan to install anything off a disc. This computer is a bargin and really powerful.

Honestly, I was kind of nervous buying my first gaming pc with no prior background knowledge at all. The employee who helped me (i forgot his name) did an outstanding job by recommending me this PC. He says he builds his own, but this is an over the top amateur gaming pc. I trusted him, and I am so glad I did. This PC is incredible for the price! I stream and edit all my videos, and I have only had it for about a month, and I get off this thing!!
