Works great but for the price, you pay they definitely cheap out on the motherboard and other components.

    The Best Gaming PC

I purchased this gaming PC 1 month after I arrived in the United States, I was looking for something good and with a not so expensive price, when I saw this computer on store I knew I had found what I wanted, a gaming PC with powerful components and a fair price. I've been using the computer for a month, I know it's not much time, but I had no problem, the computer is very quiet and maintains a good temperature, It was my first Gaming PC and I do not regret buying it. The computer perfectly performed everything that was expected of it, it's fast and manages to run all the games that I have already tested, with the best possible settings, in other productivity issues, it also works very well. I'm sure I made a good purchase and I'm sure I would recommend this computer to anyone who likes to play games with excellence.

Big disappointment. Minimal documentation. The HDMI slot on the graphics card was partly blocked by the case. I had to shave the outside rubber off a HDMI cable to plug it in. Other problems with Windows working right. It was replaced after one year.

I Purchased this computer one year ago to date and the video card is not functional. IBUYPOWER states they will not honor the warranty claim, even though I am technically within the warranty window, because they will not receive the defective graphics card before the warranty expiration. This was my first IBUYPOWER purchase and it will be my last.

PC ran great for 9 days. Then it suddenly would only boot to the Bios screen. Started working with techs from IBUYPOWER and they could not figure out the problem via phone. So I had to ship it to them for repair (another $100 out of my pocket). Now I have been waiting for over 2 weeks and they have not even started to repair the PC. This tells me either they make a lot of faulty pc’s or they cannot manage the staffing of their business. Either way, I am stuck with no working pc for the better part of almost 8 weeks. I recommend staying away from this brand simply because their support is terrible. Bet Buy should reconsider carrying this brand as it is extremely frustrating to deal with them.

One would think a PC would last at least 5 years. I have already had to replace the keyboard. Now my hard drive is having serious problems. The computer won’t boot up.

    Great computer for gaming!

Like many others out there, I was trying to piece together and build a great gaming computer but keep the price down. I needed to buy three desktops for my kids to play their games and did not want to go the route of building them all on Christmas day. For the sale price this computer seems to be a great buy with very good specs. My main concern about building one was not the CPU but rather the GPU. The specs are really good, actually great; I7-8700 (non overclocked CPU) - Not an issue as I normally do not overclock and the GPU would be the bottleneck anyway. Nvidia RTX 2070 (What a beast) - Have it running three monitors 1TB SSD - Better than most builds offered out there that only come with with a small SSD and larger mechanical drive, this is 1TB SATA SSD. 16GB RAM Bluetooth (not that it is advertised) 600 Watt PS - Not modular Remote to control the RGB lighting in the case. Would have liked the option to add more fans/lighting to the controller installed. It plays all the games they use (Fortnite, GTA5, CSGO, Fallout). All graphics are set to max. Framerate is awesome. Big difference as we moved from Radeon graphics (rx470). Even if some naysayers complain about the motherboard and power supply, that is not the case here. You could not buy the parts cheaper than getting this put tother for you. Going to be an easy upgrade as years come (in regards to maybe a new PS or other components). The keyboard and mouse which come with it are not the best, but we switched them out immediately with better ones. Not crazy about iBuyPower forcing a review for a free gift when the registration card does not state that, but hopefully this will help someone.

    Amazing Price-Performance PC

Though I have been a heavy gamer for a while, I always played on console. On Black Friday I was looking through deals and found this PC. It was on sale for $1,300, which amazed me for the parts of this computer. First of all, I will give an over-view of the computer for people who are not as tech-savvy. Whether you are buying this for your kid, yourself, or anyone who is not a professional gamer, this will be sufficient for most. You will be able to easily run any game at 1080p max settings with above 60 FPS. In Fortnite with my favorite settings (what many pro's use) I get at LEAST 200 FPS. Other more difficult titles will still usually run at over 100 FPS. For people who know more about computers, this is a great deal. For those who are not familiar with the RTX models, this RTX 2070 would be comparable to a GTX 1070Ti-GTX 1080. The eighth gen i-7 CPU is also a beast and will be more than enough for any casual gamers. Investing in an SSD rather than an HDD is a great benefit. It will speed up boot times, and make the entire computer more responsive. To sum it up, this a great price to performance computer for those who want to step up their experience to the next level and who are worried to build their own. As somewhat of a computer enthusiast, I would give this my seal of approval.

    Great product, worth the price!

I was in the market for a new gaming PC after the hard drive on my old one started to die. I mod videogames in my spare time, so having a machine that could handle loading a game on max settings, plus the additional strain of mods was priority. I also wanted it to run new games as well. I can definitely say that this PC has surpassed my expectations, as the first thing I noticed upon starting it up was that it made little to no noise the whole time I was using it (something my old PC loved to do). The start-up was also quick, as it takes less than a minute to boot to the homescreen. I was also able to play any games I threw at it with maximum settings, and was still able to maintain a 60fps frame rate. Everything looked beautiful. Though, there has been an issue here or there where during playthroughs of modded Skyrim, it has frozen, or suddenly crashed to desktop; though this is probably due more to the state of the game, instead of the PC itself. All in all, I am impressed at the value of the device, and it's performance. iBuyPower has been recommended to me numerous times, and I can wholeheartedly recommend them myself!

This PC is a decent machine. However, for the money, it should have better specs. For example, it has a SATA SSD instead of an M.2. There are better PC's in this price range.

So I bought this on 07/22/2019 it went on sale 07/26/2019, went back to the store to get price adjustment since I am still in the return period. They gave me no hassle to get the price difference refunded. Was quick and easy. Now on to the computer so far it is amazing it is fast. Checked out Destiny 2, Pretty much all the stuff one Microsoft game pass it had no issue running any thing so far. Will update later. All in All super happy with it I have been checking it out for months before I finally took the jump and got it was tied between this and the HP Omen the reviews were better for this no issues. Mine did not come with a remote for the RBG but you can just change them with the program depending what mother board you get in your model. As far as cooling issues I went in to the bios and just changed fan speed have not had any heating issues its super quite. Boots up fast decent ssd plan to add another one later. Will do a western digital black or blue. For the price the parts that came with it are good.

    Expandable and Fast

My HP Pavilion crashed after many years of service, and I needed a machine I could transfer my old hard drives into. After looking at various desktop models, it became apparent the manufacturers were no longer building scalable machines at a reasonable price point for the more demanding consumer. Further, the need to get a new machine up and running quickly was critical, and I could not wait to mail order. Fortunately, Best Buy had this IBUYPOWER BB952 available. At first I was skeptical. I had never purchased a gaming machine before, but this machine had all the features I was looking for; an Intel I7, 16GB memory, 1TB SSD, and an abundance of expandability. Though not a huge draw for me, it also has an adequate graphics card. After finally installing my old hard drives into the new system, I have to admit, I am very pleased with this machine so far. Its fast and relatively quiet. I use the machine to develop websites and photo/video editing. So far, this machine handles everything I need to do and more. I do have some criticisms. First, cable management within the cabinet is atrocious. The 650W power supply is awesome, but the cables were just stuffed inside. The other issue I had was lack of documentation. I realize these are not complex machines, but I could not find an owner's manual for this machine on the IBUYPOWER website. If its there, I can't find it. All in all, a great machine out of the box. Fast, quiet and expandable. The ability to change the color scheme is kinda cool too.

Computer was great until recently, which is a little over a year of ownership. I believe our power supply has broke on it. The power supply looks like it is made by a company named CWT and you cannot even find the same power supply that will match up to replace the broken one. I guess that is the reason for the good pricing is the quality of some of the parts are not that great. I would not recommend.

Just purchased this comp last night after my old comp went down. I did not want to wait to go get parts and build a new one so I made an impulse purchase on this comp. So far, after updating Windows, my experience is pretty good. I'm only really now looking at reviews and prices for the components that come in this computer and its looking like this is a decent bargain for what you get. Pros: Easy to set up Powerful cpu, grapics card, 1TB SSD, 16GRAM Quiet Lots of room for expansion Some other review mentioned the easy of upgradability so I'd like to point that out too. Cons: Looks like a bargain motherboard and cpu fan (I love those high durability after market boards from ASUS and Gigabyte) To me, a comp in this price range should have one of those nice motherboards in it but this should do the trick just fine for at least a couple years. Overall I believe this is a great computer for the price and my local Bestbuy made it a little too easy for me to so yes to making this large purchase. It was really convenient - they had this badboy IN STOCK - no waiting to get one shipped to store. I wish I got this at Black Friday prices but I just realized I may qualify for a birthday discount after purchase! Happy Gaming!

I will be returning this to best buy this weekend, reasoning be, it decided to randomly turn off and back on, sometimes numerous times. Day 2 - After resetting the computer, I updated windows again and had no issues. Day 3 - I come how to work to find the computer does not boot up, nothing, mouse and keyboard are lit up but will not turn on. Wonderful. It would be a great computer if it actually worked.

Kinda hard to give it anything but 1 star. Owned the computer for just under 2 weeks and the SSD failed. Got a new one from Ibuypower and the 2nd SSD failed within 2 days. The whole computer is currently on it's way to Ibuypower so they can figure out the problem is. Tech Reps at Ibuypower were nice though, lol!
