Good deal for the money and spec

I bought this for $1299 + tax (basically $200 off). Pros: - MSI Nvidia RTX 2070 ($500 retail price), Intel Core i7-8700 ($370 retail price), 16GB RAM (~$100 retail price), 1TB WD Green SSD ($115 retail price) and Windows 10 Home ($100 retail price) bundled in a $1299 bundled PC already. Basically to get the same components in retail would have cost around $1200 anyway, but here for $1300 I got the whole PC - It was pretty much plug and play without any hassle. Basically I was up and running with 10 mins after unboxing it. As a matter of fact, my need for this machine was for deep learning so within 15 mins, I was able to wipe out the OS and get it up and running on Ubuntu 18.04 without any issue (the only extra work was to install the NVidia driver) Cons: - The motherboard is ASRock B360M IB-R1 which is a very simple motherboard for a gaming PC. I mean, its not like this a bad motherboard or anything, but it definitely lacks in firepower. But then again, for the given spec it works perfectly fine. - The 16GB RAM is from a brand that I have never heard of. Not sure about it's performance in the long run. - The SATA SSD is 1TB WD Green. I would have been happier if they would have at least given 1TB WD Blue (which has better performance). Basically 1TB WD Green is probably the cheapest SSD of its kind which is barely better than the fastest HDD. Oh well, at least its an SSD and not an HDD That being said, the PC works perfectly fine. In the next couple of months, I will upgrade the SATA SSD to an NVMe SSD, upgrade the motherboard to something better and finally upgrade the 16GB RAM to 32GB RAM. Once that, I think this PC would be great.

I went to the store just to 'browse' and noticed what a deal this was considering the videocard it came with. This was on sale for $1,299 (normally $1,599) and I had to jump on it. Great deal, and love the 1gb ssd. Boots up super fast, pumps out some great power and graphics. Very happy and would recommend.

Graphics card is over heating after 3 or 4 months after purchase, I purchased on 8/25/19, and graphics cards gets hot and smells like my room is burning, I put my hand gently over the gpu (MSI RTX2070) and is extremely hot.. only happens when I open a game (ArcheAge).

My first gaming pc in a number of years

Many, many years ago I built my own gaming computers. I don't have the time that I used to though, so decided to purchase this gaming PC. I wasn't sure what to expect, but am very happy with the purchase. First, the cons - The keyboard and mouse are just generic, nothing to write home about. I'll probably replace those in the future. I'm not a big fan of LED lighting, but can turn that off. Seems like all components are cheaper, besides the CPU and graphics card, but that is to be expected. Other than that, no real problems. I'm probably being picky about this stuff. Pro's - Very quiet, I expected it to be a lot louder. I have a nice office area and wanted a quieter PC so this was a pleasant surprise. Overall specs of the PC are amazing, an i7, RTX 8GB graphics card, and 16GB ram ... oh, and a 1TB SSD. I won't have to upgrade for awhile, all the games I've thrown at it run great on ultra settings. Oh, and the chassis is big enough that upgrading in the future shouldn't be a problem. Will get some mileage out of this setup! Great setup, I would recommend.

Great Off-The-Shelf Gaming PC (When on Sale)

This PC offers great upper-mid-range specs for the price, particularly when purchased on sale. I get performance the exceeded my expectations. I was also pleased with the extra space and ports available for adding additional storage and memory. It's been great for photo/video edits and gaming. My one tip to a potential buyer is that it appears iBuyPower has variations in storing for the motherboard and other components. My components were different than some of the other reviews. Also, my RGB lights were not controlled by a controller or the MSI app (that was pre-installed), but instead by the ASRock RGB app. This is clearly due to variations in stock when they built it. It's understandable, but something to be aware of when buying. Also, as others have noted the picture on the box isn't 100% reflective of the unit (in terms of the cooler and other features). Also, my device runs very quite. It's certainly not going to be the coolest PC rig, but temperatures on the CPU and GPU do not get into dangerous territory, but I wouldn't describe them as low either.

Purchased 3 of these machines on black friday. 1 is still working fine 1 had to be swapped out in the first month due to a failed Graphics card Last one just blew smoke out the back and now won't turn on. Don't think I need to go into any great detail on how I feel just know that disappointing would be an understatement....

Exactly what I was looking for.

I've been searching for a higher end gaming computer for a while. For some time I considered building one myself, but I just never and the time. This one from iBuyPower pulled together all the components I would've put into it myself, it's almost like they read my mind. While I was looking, I was a little jealous of some of the other manufactures' CPU's and their higher core count, but to be honest, I don't work with rendering, or music compilation so I can't even imagine what I'd do with more power that what six cores can do a 3.7 GHz. All the video this thing produces is crisp and clean, I think the only things slowing it down are my monitor and my internet bandwidth. Great piece of machinery at a good price. Getting it all set up was a breeze too. No complaints, all praise.

    Pretty and Fast!!!

I wanted to wait a while to do this review, so I had some time to play with it. I wasn't intending to buy a PC but was looking at the newest tech (mainly video cards). I came across this one and it had a Nvidia RTX 2070 for less than $1500 (it was on sale). It was worth it. It is pretty and it is fast. It uses MSI components (with iBuyPower written all over them) and their a major part of the gaming PC industry. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who was looking for a powerful gaming PC. Two complaints: 1) There is a open grill at the top of the case set up for a fan or liquid cooled radiator. It is not being used. It would've been nice if they had put a fan there or at least a cover for it. As much as they like to put there name all over it, you'd figure that they would have a name plate to cover it with. 2) The system doesn't have a disk drive. I don't have a problem with that. My laptop and my previous PC didn't either. But they gave me a bunch of disks (for recovery and apps). If you're not going to have a disk drive in it, why not have a thumb drive with all the necessary tools I would need to maintain and repair the PC.

Easy to set up. Very quite and fast. Plays all the games i have on max setting with at least 100+ fps. Great plug and play Computer. A++ Bought it at 1299 and i think its a steal considering the 1tb SSD I7 8700 and 2070 MSI 8gb.

IBUYPOWER wants me to leave a honest review so I will. Great packaging and great value for the money. Got it on sale and end up buying it for my wife. She does not game but I do lol. I set it all up and everything worked right out the box with minimal software adds-on and just clean and smooth windows 10. Super fast 8th Gen Intel I7, amazing RTX 2070 8GB graphics card will run top games at 4k, lots of storage @ 1TB and enough memory 16GB you'll be able to have a lot of stuff running in the background. The wires is neatly organize and the case is nice and sturdy with tempered glass and a cool selectable LED lighting. This case runs cool and super quiet. Great choice if you do not want the headache of researching and putting the pieces together. I recommend it!

A great buy and setup for everything

I have had this PC for a month now and has never ceased to amaze me, the RTX 2070 and the I7 processor allows you to run AAA games like black ops 4 at 100+ FPS on completely max graphics and games like csgo to the maximum of 500 FPS, this tower can run virtually anything easily and will most likely last a very long time, along with this SSD drive you will be able to load in all of your applications and games with ease and not have to worry about waiting 5 minutes for discord to launch. This processor is also helpful for multiplayer games as it will allow you to load in everything pretty quickly (which is a problem sometimes on Rainbow Six Siege) overall a great tower

Excellent choice from a computer builder

I would never normally buy a prebuilt computer. Over the last 20 years I have built 1000’s of computers but it’s been a few years since I was actively building. My son now 11 wanted a pc for Christmas to play of course Fortnite. I looked up all the parts and prices and this was less than I could build it for by far $1299.99 on sale. Machine was super easy to start up and we were playing in less than 30 min. It’s very fast, Wi-Fi downloading at over 200 mbps and Fortnite is amazing. Graphics are amazing with our 27” asus monitor. Don’t hesitate to buy. We are looking for a deal on a second unit and it will be an ibuypower for sure.

    Huge Upgrade

    Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.

This rig is a huge upgrade from my 2010 HP Pavilion Elite. The specs don't lie...with a 1TB SSD, 2070 graphics, and 16 GB RAM (expandable to 32 GB), this desktop is current and upgradeable for years to come. Unpacking the interior foam, plugging in WiFi antennae, and using the HDMI to connect my 144 HZ monitor was seamless. This unit boots literally in seconds. The color changing features via remote is a cool frosting. I debated this purchase for about two weeks and finally bit. Very happy that I did. If this one has made your list, you won't be disappointed in choosing it.

    Very Good

I have owned this PC for almost 5 days now and I must say that I am impressed with how well this PC runs. I play on the highest settings on my PC games along with streaming music on Spotify and chatting in discord all at the same time and my frames stay super high. I have been putting a lot of stress on this computer power gaming since I am off from work and it hasn't had any issues what so ever. Also, on the inside, there is tons of room for expanding as this unit has just the 1 SSD. Cable management is clean and it has remote control lighting if you're into that. I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this PC, and there was a negative review about the HDMI not working. This is true in a sense that the motherboard that is currently inside seems to have an integrated graphics card, and it will shut down itself so it doesnt conflict with the new and better graphics card that has been installed (non integrated.) Therefor, you have to plug your HDMI for your monitor below/in the middle of the tower. So far I have been impressed... and as I satated above, I recommend to anyone who is a gamer.
