The product is good but extremely dissatisfied ...
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The procedure was unprofessional as I was approved for the card but the terms were explained incorrectly. And the product wasn’t even put there, it wound up on another cc!

Two copies of this system failed in one year
||Posted . Owned for 11 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I know this is an "old" model that can't be bought anymore, but I had to at least put this out here. I've had two major failures on this model within one year, both times requiring Best Buy to replace it in some way. The first suddenly had issues running software, generally anything you could think of as major software, video games for example. It would only boot up, run notepad or Explorer, and that's about it. Sent it out via Geek Squad and never really got told what went wrong, but that the network card also failed. Sounds like a motherboard problem. The second I woke up to what I thought was a bad USB external hard drive. Got a replacement in town, then put it in the same port. Brand new drive wouldn't read either. Tried all three of my USB drives in all ports, the one failed port in question didn't work for any drives, but all other ports would work for all drives. Sent it out again, and checked in at a different store one day, and was told the problem was too expensive to bother fixing and I need to see the Martinsburg store about a refund for the system. I can only hope they don't want to push store credit, as I can't think of $1500 of stuff I want from Best Buy. Never buying another iBuyPower, and will probably have to self build a new one again despite not really having the time or mental focus to feel I can get it done.

Worth for money
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a couple months ago. I found that its voice card is not good. I think its voice card is a cheapest one because it’s noisy when I do live.

Not Good
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this item and had to return it to the store. The ports in the back were misaligned in such a way that I could not plug in any of the usb devices. They replaced it but the wifi on the second unit would not work. I had to return it also and replace it with another brand. I do not recommend this product.

Never Buying a Pre-built Again
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this PC in June of 2019. Within 6 months of having it I had to return it and pay $100 for BestBuy to fix it. The computer wouldn't boot. It just showed a black screen with my cursor. Within a few weeks of getting it back, it started blue screening. Every game I played, it would constantly freeze for about 15 seconds at a time, and this happened about every 10 minutes. I finally just decided to replace the RAM with the Corsair 16GB 3200MHz Vengeance Pro. It worked great for a week with the new RAM. Now it blue screens about every 15 minutes causing me to restart my PC. So now I guess I will have to decide to just build a new PC or keep buying new parts to fix this junk iBUYPOWER pc. This is my first desktop computer and I regret ever buying it. PLEASE built you own PC and DO NOT BUY a pre-built.

Best bang for the buck on the market
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased during one of Best Buy's Deals of the Day for $1499. This PC is the absolute best bang for your gaming buck. The RTX 2080 (mine was an MSI RTX 2080 Ventus) is an absolute beast and chews up anything I throw at it at max settings at 2K. The PC does get pretty hot, but it's pretty easy to manage with a couple extra case fans (and some 4-pin splitters). I wish there were more USB ports, but that's easily rectified with a USB hub. Looks great, is very quiet and is blazing fast.

A magnificent graphical monster to love
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am going to start by saying I am AMAZED by this Gaming PC from the moment I pulled it out of its box. They put a protective foam inside the tower so that the components installed don't shift while being shipped, or, in our case as customer, taking it home in the car. And do note that I called it a "Monster" as a good thing. Something GREAT! Pros: Well packaged and protected, neatly installed, no messy cables inside to ruin the gorgeous LED lighted view inside the tower through its tempered glass, the keyboard and mouse are inside nice boxes and well protected as well, and this is just the exterior when pulled out of the box. There are detailed and well illustrated instructions for setup the moment you open the top of the box, and you also have easily removable stickers that leave no marks or traces that instruct you on how to properly plug in cables on your gorgeous new machine. After the initial preparations, you better put on a seat belt, because this machines starts up in just 5 to 8 seconds, you'll browse the internet at breakneck speeds, and after playing the free game that comes with this purchase, I was baffled. I have NEVER run a game on max settings on any PC without said game stuttering at some point. Everything moves fluidly and the colors never looked more beautiful, and this is on a monitor that is below the NVIDIA RTX 2018's capabilities. Also, as soon as my computer booted, I tweaked the LED lights a bit, and I have to say, I just love how easy the controls are to use, and how quickly everything works. Cons: No DVD, or SD card reader drives. To me this was a huge letdown, as I still own some games on disks that I wanted to play on this magnificent machine. I'll have to get an external DVD player for that, it seems, not to mention I can no longer put in my Switch's screenshots directly into this, until I can find some sort of adapter, or card reader module. Another bit of a let down was that the store display, and the picture on the computer's box showed the RAM chips with really cool looking heat sinks, but my machine lacked these cool looking covers, and when I asked, I was told the picture and display models are usually just to show appealing aesthetics. That felt like a bit of false advertising to me, but the specs are there, so this is just me being sore over aesthetics... I think. I have never had a PC this amazing in my life, and so I am overjoyed of having it, and will recommend it to anyone asking for an overachieving gaming PC, as long as they don't ask for low prices, as this beauty comes with a hefty price tag, but it is worth every penny.

Upset
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased this computer in May 2019 and everything was great for my son. Turned it on Saturday, Nov 16, 2019 and it would not boot up. Computer repair place just called stating it is the Hard Drive. REALLY!! Well there's another $200. Can't believe this computer is just now 6 months old and it's dead. Paid, to me a lot of money to then having to replace the Hard Drive. At this point don't feel like I should have even given it one star.

Nice Gaming PC
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I'm using this pc with a 240 hz gaming monitor and it has worked great for the games that were included: Call of duty Black Ops 4, Battlefield 5 and Anthem. I got it mainly for Ark Survival Evolved, Overwatch, Diablo 3 and World of Warcraft. I've been using gaming laptops since 2013 and haven't had a real gaming desktop since 2007. It's a nice step up from a 980m. In Overwatch it has made my input lag go down from 10 sim to like 3.5. Also never dip below 240 fps at 1080p, making full use of my 240 hz gaming monitor. Had a game as tracer where in 5 secs I killed 3 players on the point just by finishing them off with head shots, receiving 3 gold medals that game. I'm playing in 1080p but loving the frame rate. 4k would run good I believe, I'm just not ready to spend money on a 4k monitor yet. This computer is perfect for the ultimate 1080p experience of course. I like having the cpu water cooled and the rgb lighting; two things I wanted for my gaming rig. Wifi works great even though my wifi modem is on the other side of the house and Bluetooth is also present. It's nice to not have to buy those additional things. I'm not using the included mouse and keyboard but it's nice to have a back up. The start up and shut down speed are great and the 1tb ssd was also a major factor for me besides the RTX 2080. Docking a star because it went down in price by $50 2 days after it arrived and the power supply was 650w. The computer works good, it's just after reading the Q & A and reviews before my purchase, it looked like some people got 750W or 850w power supplies. I avoided other computers while shopping because of low power supplies but oh well, the computer works good. I added a 2tb 7200 rpm drive for game/video storage and an additional 16 gb of ram without issue. Overclocking is possible and gave me 1k more points in 3dmark Firestrike but I run everything amazingly well without having to overclock. I've only crashed when playing Ark but after fixing some settings I don't crash anymore for many hours and enjoying fluid 1080p framte rates which have helped me kill a bird with a slingshot and I normally got killed by those on my gaming laptop lol. Hard for me to go back and make use of my gaming laptop after playing with this computer. Is it my dream computer? It's close, I wanted to future proof with a higher power supply and 9th generation i7 but the price fit my budget.

Powerful Gaming Desktop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to save time and money versus building a new desktop for my daughter. I liked that it had the Intel 3.7 CPU and Nvidea 2080 Video card (mine is a Gigabyte OC). I was looking for a 1 TB SSD hard drive, as well as a roomy case with glass door and lights. It worked out of the box and if I had no idea what I was doing, it would have been pretty easy to get going. I also liked the financing so I can pay it off over 18 months with no interest. There are a few cons that potential buyers should know. The motherboard is pretty cheap having been designed for this model and is hard to get support for. They give you no utilities to update drivers for the built in devices. This bothers me because I am used to getting everything to support the product going forward and they give you nothing. I have however downloaded some applications from the asrock.com website using other models since this one is not listed and can update some of the drivers like audio. The RAM is equally cheap. I am thinking of replacing it with something faster and more appealing for a case like this. My power supply was only a 650 Watt, which is the bare minimum required for the video card in this system. A 750 or higher would have been more appropriate and this one is not modular so it has a lot of unnecessary cables hidden in the back. Overall, it seems like a good system for the price and financing (which is why I bought it) or for someone who doesn't know how to build one and is in a the market for a gaming PC. I made a few adjustments to this PC right away, like a 4 TB Sata Drive for extra storage and a PCI USB 3.0 card to to give more 3.0 connections in the back, but they were not necessary to enjoy the PC out of the box. Happy shopping!

Very disappointed.
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was not familiar with this brand, but I purchased this computer based on the lifetime guarantee. It also looked cool and was a bargain based on its specs. We had trouble immediately after purchasing it, it kept crashing while play Overwatch. We called the company and they said to take it back to the store for an exchange. We exchanged it for another exact same model and it kept crashing. We tried two of their models within a 10 day period and finally opted to go back to another (albeit more expensive) brand that we have not had any problems with.

Great gaming pc
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My bb953 came with gigabyte rtx2080 power supply P650B bronze WD blue 1tb sata drive i7-8700k and everything else is no name. owned for roughly 2 months now no major issue. i can hear the liquid in the pipes moving around and sounds of drips. games: Dayz, Arma 3, Players unknown battleground, battle field 5, Anthem All can run ultra no problem still gets little over 100 fps. i got this game when it was on discount so i paid around $1800 including tax. Good gaming pc to buy if you don't want to build your own.

Never Again
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased two of these units in Feb. of 2019. We utilize these machines for video production. Here it is September of 2019. One units has been experiencing random video blackout glitches for a couple of months. The other unit shut down on me this week and will not power back up. Now, I have to PAY to ship these in for warranty work that should not be needed just 7 months after purchase. Not acceptable. Stay away. Stay very far away.

CPU leaves more to be desired
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It runs games well at first but I noticed that the CPU runs hot about 200F-210F hot. Sadly I didn't notice it till about a year and a half but now its all I notice, From the FPS to general speed the first year and a half 8/10 now 2 years later this is 2/10 or 3/10 at best. It doesn't seem the computer was made to last. I already have to upgrade.

First Desktop
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I picked this up at a local best buy. Since the first day i had noticed that it was not working properly with any game for it had a problem with stuttering every so often in game. I was hoping it was something that would be fixed with an update but I now think it is hardware related. Sucks that it was my first but i have a lot to learn. Any troubleshooting programs out there to see what my real problem is? i would appreciate it.
