I usually buy Frigidaire for my rental apartments, but since those have gone up in price, the Insignia 18.1 cu ft was the closest equivalent and it was at lower price. I decided to give it a try and I'm quite satisfied with it. I've only had it a few months and everything seems fine so far.

The problems began upon delivery. The fridge was crooked, despite the delivery man adjusting the legs. His solution was to place a piece of wood underneath one of the hind legs to even it out. This was unacceptable so I called the geek squad right away and they said someone would contact me within 2 days to schedule a replacement (for which I'd have to take another day off work.) No one ever called. Over the next several weeks I called several times and no one was able to assist and the 30 day replacement window expired. Now I've had the fridge for just over 2 months and it started making really loud noises. I called best buy again and they said the can send a technician out, but will charge me for repairs. You get what you pay for. If you can save a little more money and get a better fridge, please do so. Now I'm stuck with a deformed, noisy, 2 month old fridge and have lost HOURS on the phone and online chat with agents with zero resolution.

Didn't see where to select which side door handle could be placed. Makes moaning sounds?

Exceeded expectations. I am so tired of more expensive, even more prominent name brands leaking water from the nozzle which did NOT happen after months of use of this product. Highly recommend this product for leak free use.

I'm going to start my review with a disclaimer that I hope I can edit the review once I get the issue resolved. Some pieces though, like the purchase experience, unfortunately roll into the product review. I ordered the refrigerator back in the beginning of December to replace a 15 year old one that was starting to make some noises. Rather than wait till it dies, I decided to be proactive and replace it sooner than later. We have an Insignia upright freezer next to it and was exactly what we needed so we went with another Insignia, similar in size to match the freezer. The price was great, and the availability was within a week. Seemed to be the right decision. Order placed. That was where the the good vibes ended. Delivery date.... I took the day off to be there to make sure the old fridge could be hauled away, and the new fridge installed. I waited all day. No call, no show. That evening, I called customer service and they said that there was a mixup, and they didn't have the refrigerator in stock. Next availability was a week later. Following week: Excitement! The fridge truck backs into our driveway, the people come out, see the old fridge, haul it away, pull the new box out of the truck and...... leave the box unopened in the middle of my garage. They said that there must have been a mixup but they don't have installation listed. SO... they leave, I have to put it together, and recycle the box.. Fridge turns on, freezer gets colder. I think we are in business... (I have multiple temp. gauges in the fridge and freezer to monitor). Fridge drops to 20F. Freezer stays at 30. It's now February. The freezer fluctuates between -10 and 35. The fridge doesn't go above 35 (usually closer to 15) and usually, everything in there is frozen, and everything in the freezer has melted. Most recently, an unsuspecting friend, brought over some popsicles for my son only for me to have to clean up a freezer full of purple and orange slush. If I didn't know better, I'd say that the freezer and fridge are wired backwards. I have sent a few emails to customer service and have not heard back yet. I thought perhaps the location (it is in the garage along the wall next to our house) was the issue, but I have seen multiple posts (which is what I read as part of my initial purchasing decision), that use it in the garage with no issue. My old fridge, and the current Insignia freezer are also in the same location and have/had no issue. Please help me get this issue resolved~~ Thank you for your time. Exactly as advertised. I walked into the store and up to the counter and placed the order. 2 days later it was delivered, set up, door moved and it is working perfectly. Great job by all concerned.

Use this as a beer fridge in the garage. The door doesn’t close easily when pushed and walk away. This may need adjusted/leveled by the user.

Warranty just expired. Had for 14 months. Leaking from inside ceiling of the fridge. No ice in the freezer and there is no water connection. Makes a lot of noise as if it is always struggling. Would not recommend.

Solid refrigerator. Works without issue. COVID made it hard to get appliances at a reasonable cost so we went with this one and have been pleased with the result.

I was looking for good and cheap and I think this is it. Time will tell. Only one concern. Ice builds up to the top of the freezer. This maybe entirely my fault as i did not read the instructions

This has been the best fridge I've ever had. Easy to clean and keeps everything perfectly cold.

I bought this fridge to hold my groceries because my main fridge needed repairs (Whirlpool) so i had to swap the contents from my main fridge to this fridge. Its basic and its a decent size for the price. I now have this fridge in my garage to hold extra groceries.

The item was delivered right on time and professionally installed. My old fridge was hauled away (paid service) and my new one was installed in its place. They leveled the fridge to make sure it wouldn't wobble. I was very happy with my purchase.

We walked into the store and had a salesman come to us right away! Within 5 minutes we found exactly what we wanted and left the store. We picked it up the next day! Excellent service. We have had it for a month and it is exactly what we were looking for!

Bought it as a second fridge (garage fridge) no complaints other than the wire shelfs don't make it easy to store/stack cans or bottles of soda. Spacing a little wide makes for tipping. So I cut some plexiglass to remedy the problem. Not gonna return it because of my over sight.

The refrigerator is great. The only thing I don't like about it is the wire shelves, many items will not sit up on the shelf, like water bottles, and fall down

I didn't realize that it has wire shelves. I was using it in my photography studio for lunched. Many spills. I actually gave it to a charity.

The first refrigerator that was to be delivered was damaged on both back sides. This new one is fine except did notice a few scratches on the side but no big deal. Nice refrigerator for the money.

We needed a larger refrigerator and this one did the trick. The interior shelving and door compartments are smartly designed for optimal storage of both small and larger items.

I had a $3,000 Samsung fridge only 1.5 old, it died and no one could find out what happened to it! I needed a fridge quick and I got this fridge as it was in stock and I am so glad I did! I’m so impressed how quickly it cools and little energy it uses! I highly recommend this fridge! Avoid Samsung
