Freezer Continues to Fail

Door not left open, etc. it just seems to stop running ... so we mess with the thermostat setting and it magically starts running again ... until the next time. Looks like I messed up not buying the warranty. We are checking with the manufacturer to find out how long we have ... just purchased it a few months ago.
