It has plenty of room for a small- mid size family .. it's fine in the ( no-water / no ice making fridge ) It has a digital setting for reg- extra cool feature at the top of the refrigerator door .. it's very quiet and has good economy - pwr. BUT, when the holidays come and everyone is home, it will fill up quickly. A 9ft was too small, and a 12ft. was $20.00 cheaper. That's why I went ahead and got this one. It is frost free. If I want to put in an icemaker later, I can. I have the black one. I wish I had gotten the stainless steel one.
