Lightning fast processor

This computer runs ultra-fast, probably due to the combination of this i7 CPU, an SSD, and 16 GB of memory. I rarely use more than 30% of its processing power, which tells me that it'll be around for a really long time. Also, I was worried that such a powerful processor would generate a lot of heat, but I've never felt any heat at all coming from the water cooling system fans. Right now they're not even blowing! Maybe they're just really effective.

No longer the best

AMD has recently surpassed this processor in terms of value provided. Product will get the job done ultimately, but it is regrettable that Intel has fallen so far behind the curve.

Very fast!

I currently keep it locked at 4.9 Ghz on all cores because the performance vs heat is ideal. I was able to get a stable overclock at 5.2 Ghz on all cores but it was a little warmer than I wanted for everyday gaming. Still puts up impressive numbers at 4.9 and the 5.2 In Cinebench I got 1610 @4.9 and 1680 at 5.2

Works Well

Mine stably overclocks to 5.1 all cores and stays in the mid 70's paired with a Corsair h115. Unfortunately for Intel, but not for consumers, AMD is the new king of the roost. One of these under $250 is fine for people looking for cheaper parts for gaming. Wouldn't recommend for any kind of productivity build due to the lack of hyperthreading.
