Customers are positive about the UP MOVE Activity Tracker's sleep and step tracking, ease of use, and long battery life. Many appreciate its small size and accurate readings, along with the affordable price and helpful app. However, some customers have experienced issues with the clip detaching from clothing and syncing problems with their phones. A few also noted that it lacks waterproofing.

Had for 3 months better than wrist ones!

I felt I needed to give this a try and in the last 3 months I feel I can finally give it a review. I did hours of research and due to my job and its dress code I couldn't go with the Garmin all in one that I orgianlly wanted. I am training for the Wine and Dine 1/2 Marathon and wanted to step up my training. My options that fit into the dress code was a "hip" tracker that could be hidden, Fitbit or a Basis Peak. PROS: I wore the Peak and this Jawbone Move. For the most part I felt that the Move was much easier- I DO NOT HAVE TO CHARGE IT. I also liked that it was small and discreit. I LOVE that I can wear it on my wrist or as it comes. I also felt it was much closer to what I run on the treadmill. I would stay that it is only off less than a 10th of a mile on the treadmill and within a couple feet of a run outside. It can tell when I'm warming up and than going faster. I can ADJUST/Input how that workout felt, how hard it was, and just overall make adjustments to it. With the Peak I could NOT. I find that very annoying. Maybe its because I'm a "Gen X" gal but I get technology and it lets me interact with the App and I feel that really helps me. I can put in into the wrist accessory if I want, so I have options with making it go with my outfits or can hid it. I only have to hold down a button for a moment to get it between sleep or awake. I can check my progress on my wrist or look it up in my phone. I LOVE the App. It breaks down the day by Sleep, Activity and Food. The ratings that it gives for the food have helped me make better choices. If you rate the daily tips and write WHY something doesn't apply to you, they will customize the tips later. I LOVE THAT!! There are different reviewers but "Jimmys Review Room" will break down the app for you and was one of the biggest helps for me. To save battery life on my phone I have set it up to only sink when I tell it too. I also set up a daily update reminder in the app for 2 pm, which is my break time most days. this is great because if I forgot to input something I am reminded to than. I can also see where I'm at with only 1/2 of my day gone. Cons: The app takes a little to get ALL aspects out of it, but just play with it for an hour or so and you should be good. I wish I didn't have to pay for a new battery every 6 months or so, but there only $5-7 dollars for two so I will take that over having to charge and forget my tracker at home. I wish it would tell between weights and being stationary but being that it is on my hip most days I get that it wouldn't be able to tell. I wish the App would read a blu tooth heart rate monitor, but my TomTom Runner will so thats not a big deal. Overall: I love the simplicity of this tracker. It is NOT an all inclusive for those that want Heart rate this is NOT the one for you. If you do not care about that, and want a grab and go tracker than this is for you! I have gotten four co-workers to buy these and they love it too.

This one is okay a bit difficult to get to link with my I phone but it finally did. Does what I want it to , steps and sleep time so good product if you are only looking for those items. It offers other things but for me they do not work as well.

It may not be one of the more popular trackers, but I love how easy it is to use. Was happy to find it in the store after I had lost my 1st one.

I found the device to be very inaccurate. It was a disappointment one day when I was on my feet the entire day really working on spring cleaning my house, cleaning floors, baseboards, walls, etc and went from room to room constantly for more than 12 hours and only logged a little over 2,000 steps.

Tracker works fine but is very small and easy to lose/misplace. I recommend buying the wristbands that help keep track of this tracker! The only problem is they only come in 3 packs. Who needs three of them?

    Great device, better software

I bought this device to replace my Nike+ FuelBand SE. The Jawbone Up Move easily clips onto your clothing and provides very accurate tracking of your activity throughout the day. The device also can track your sleep which is a big advantage over the Nike+ FuelBand SE. The Jawbone Up Move does not ship with a wrist strap. Although the device works well without the wrist strap the sleep tracking function is greatly enhanced while wearing the wrist strap at night. With the wrist strap you can wear the Jawbone Up Move as a watch. It has a great interface for displaying the time. On top of all of this is the Jawbone Up software for Apple iOS. It is by far the best software I have used for any fitness trackers. In my opinion it is better than the Nike+ software and the Fitbit software. The software is easy to use. It tracks your movement and your sleep and provided helpful tips are useful and easy to incorporate into your daily routine. For example, the tips for when you should get into bed have already helped me to gain an hour of sleep each night. Overall I think the Jawbone Up Move is a great device. The only reason for me not to give five stars is having to buy the wrist strap separately from the device.

Great product does exactly what it says! Never in the way I actually forget I have it on. The best feature is tha calorie counter! Love that you can scan the barcode of any item and the information pops up! Didn't realize that lack of sleep I got!

I need a device that can be warn on my wrist, pocket or shoe. This device is very difficult to get in or out of the clip. For those reasons, I returned it and got a Misfit Flash. The apps seem comparable.
