I brought this unit to listen to streaming audio in remote locations such as outdoors or in our beach cottage. The JBL speaker is compact, has great sound, and long battery life. It also has the ability to keep the phone providing the streaming source charged. FYI: I have used JBL speakers with my audio systems since the 1960's.

I've heard about this speaker and decided to buy it. It is very loud indoors and especially carrying it outside. Good thing about this speaker is that I can carry it and drop it in the water and it won't be damaged right after it drops or hours later. Another great thing is that it is bluetooth and anyone can connect their device to the speaker. MUST BUY !

My Husband and went to our local best buy in order to pick up a speaker for the Beach instead of using our phones. The sales lady suggested the JBL Charge E 3. It was everything we wanted and more. It is water proof, it has a long charge life and most of all the sound quality is awesome. The Bluetooth compatibility will let you hook to android and apple.

I was looking for a speaker for college, that would be loud enough to fill a room, or a few, and (at least) spill proof since you never know what wight get spilled on the speaker if its out at a party. I found this speaker able to satisfy both of those needs! I highly recommend this speaker to anyone looking for an affordable, versatile and portable bluetooth speaker.

Amazing speaker great sound quality and amazing battery along with water proof I brought my speaker skiing with me all the time and to the lake the quality of sound never went down and I've had my speaker for over 2 years battery life has yet to diminish either would highly recommend any JBL speaker for anyone I know or meet

Awesome speaker with OK bass and treble. Battery lasts for a long one and you can charge your junk on it. Better than the flip not as good as the xtreme. Fully water proof and super portable .

This speaker is compact in size so it’s great to take along with you anywhere even the beach since it’s splash resistant. Great sound!!

I tried most of the speakers in the this class. I chose the JBL for the fact that it played louder, the quality in the music/speakers seemed better to me, it was also very durable feeling and I liked the fact that it seemed less likely fall because it sits horizontally instead of vertical. The Charge also seemed to have the most value for the price of the group.

Why get a BEATS speaker when this one is available for a fraction of the price? This is the outgoing JBL model and was able to get it for only $89.99. The sound on this one is awesome and the bass is super crisp. I have not used my home sound system since I got this one. If this one is so poweful, just imagine the bigger JBL’s.

I needed a speaker for my 12 yr old boy and this did the trick. He loves to listen to music and he plays it almost every day. Seems durable and it's waterproof, perfect for traveling.The sound is sharp loud enough for his room and you can connect to other JBL speakers if that's not enough . Overall we're happy with our purchase

Small, but mighty. Great sound and portable and blue tooth works fine

I wanted a larger sound capable of filling a one bedroom apt vs a hotel room when I travel for long-term business trips. This fills the order perfectly. It's shape and size makes it easy to grab when I'm moving around the apt before I head to work. Connectivity is quick. Touted to produce more bass than comparable units, I deducted a star for its slightly muffled low-end and overshadowed mid-range. I love bass on the heavy side but it needs to be clear. The most balanced performance occurs when it's sitting on the bathroom vanity and in in the shower. The glass and tile provide the best sound chamber resulting in outstanding lows, mids, and highs.

We absolutely love this portable speaker. It is handy enough to move all around but powerful enough for any size crowd. And, so easy!

I was recently in my local Best Buy store and I knew I wanted to get a Bluetooth speaker. After talking to the sales associate I was directed to this Bluetooth speaker I am very happy with my choice. The speaker sound quality is great, battery life (20 hours and can charge my phone) connecting to my phone/tablet was easy. I would recommend this speaker.
