I bought the speaker for my 14 year son after he researched the heck out of the choices. The sound is great, the battery life is good and he carries it around everywhere he goes blasting his music. As silly as it sounds, he really likes the LED lights and has taken long exposure night images with this speaker illuminating the subject. I miss the days of the ear buds.

Excellent mid range Bluetooth speaker. The light show is a bonus. The recently added ambient sounds feature is awesome via software update.

My daughter absolutely loves this speaker. The sound is amazing as it comes out both ends and the light show it produces is just a work of art. I want one now! The sound doesn't distort, even at loud volumes and the ability to select the different style of light effects is very cool. If you want to get your daughter or son a great gift, this is it.

I absolutely love it, creates a great ambiance in the dark. Sound quality is excellent! We have a large deck 1500sqf, looking at getting another one to help balance out the sound when outside. Have had no complaints on battery life, w/o lights getting 10-15Hrs. Definitely will be getting another soon

After many days doing research, I decided to buy this speaker for my nephew and wow I was impressed by the sound, the wonderful bass and also the colourful aspect is also a plus... We took the speaker with us for a vacation trip and my dad was alos so impressed with this speaker that decided to buy one for him...

We purchased this as a gift for my son's birthday. He's not a music nut (like me) but since this purchase he takes this thing everywhere he goes. He originally liked the lights and the way they work. Now he's moving over to my point of view and loves the sound, it's really amazing for such a small device.

The sound quality is great for its size... a lot of these bluetooth speakers highlight the high end too much but this one seems well balanced. the light show adds a special flair that it completely unnecessary but absolutely thrills my daughter and enhances the experience in ways I had never imagined.

I have been in the market for awhile for a nice portable speaker and when I came across this I had to have it! The sound on it is GREAT, and extremely easy to carry around. The battery life could be a little longer...but they do give you the option to turn the led lights off which makes a dramatic difference.

Great sound and light effect if that is what you want. If you only want sound then go for charge 3 and pay less. Since this was a gift I bought the one with lights. I previously have the charge plus that also allows for phone calls through speaker, perfect companion at home and for travel.

I love the JBL Pulse 2 Bluetooth speaker! The light show of the speaker is beautiful and easy to change light patterns! Whenever anyone sees it, they want one! The sound is amazing! Great volume with no distortion. My partner got one too, and they sync up beautifully!

I was on the fence between this speaker and a bose speaker and boy am I happy I chose this one. The battery lasts forever and the sound quality is great!! It is able to pair with another pulse 2 so you can have two playing at the same time. It can replace any other speaker I own.

Purchased for my kids for Christmas. Being teens, I figured they would like the light show from this speaker and I was right. The unit seems to have some initial bluetooth connection distortions that clears up after a few seconds even after the latest software update. Sound quality is amazing. Being able to pair up speakers to play from one source is very neat!

This speaker has great sound. I compared it price wise and sound wise with all of the other speakers, and for the price I think it was by far the best of all the speakers available. The lights just separate it from the others. Very easy to use and set up.

I bought this speaker for my father as a gift. The speaker has lots of cool features and is easy to use. Easy to synch up with bluetooth. Can use as speaker phone and it changes colors. My father loves the speaker -- easy for him to take around the house and use when he is cooking or outside at his outdoor bar. Great value for the money. Sound is very good.

I bought 2, 1 for each of my children. They love the color change of the speaker with the music. Sound quality is very good. In this era of having everything small and portable, these speakers pack some sound punch, and they are fun to watch!

The sound for this size of the speaker was impressive, nice highs and the lows were okay. The light effects are defiantly the selling point and were a mood changer. The JBL connect needs improvement, that was the main reason for purchase and I experienced lag issues at the beginning of each song
