Although CarPlay doesn’t really function which is a APPLE issue not the radio.. (verified with Apple) it is a VERY good radio , for my 2018 Nissan Versa; I don’t regret it! Sounds excellent, easy to navigate through. I will buy this radio for future cars. EXCELLENT!!

Had this installed today at the Virginia Beach store, works great and navigating the various screens is easy. Love that it has Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth capabilities, plus they were able to tie my backup camera in to it without any issues.

JVC is a reputable brand of in-car audio and I love the ease of the product and the benefits of Android/Apple CarPlay. No complaints to so far have this product for 6 months.

Got this for my wife as part of her birthday presents and she loves it , 13 band equalizer is great , so are all the other music eq options , Bluetooth connects faster then my older JVC unit in my car and usb / Apple car play is a great feature

I researched various double din head units and got exactly what I expected. Replaced original factory cd/radio in 2011 honda fit. I installed myself and was relatively easy. Youtube had videos on finding the hidden screw in honda fits. I wanted physical volume keys which this has. Unit makes my speakers sound better by the multiple adjustments available. Screen does seem to get washed out by glare. Wired android auto works flawlessly.

Excellent quality, easy to use and what I love the most is that I can connect it to my obd and get information real time about my tire pressure, battery bolts and other information about my engine on my JVC screen very cool

I purchased this to replace the worn out Nissan audio unit in my 2007 Pathfinder. I have to say, I would have purchased something like this a long time ago if I had realized what I was missing! Android Auto works great with my Note 8, and the installer did a great job. He even helped me get my Note paired and showed me how to install the latest version of Android Auto. I very highly recommend the unit, and the installation service.

Sounds good. Easy to set up and use. Android auto worked with my Motorola g5s plus on oreo but not my Motorola x4 which is on pie.

This is a no brainer if you want a good head unit to upgrade your car radio at a good price. Car Play and Android Auto are very responsive and very well integrated into the operating system, are not wireless but I find it very convenient because does not drains my phone's battery while in the car. The audio quality is very good out of the box and it also provides extra customizations so you can tweak the sound to your liking . This a review after some time using it , I have nothing to complain about it so far... not even a glitch. It does what is intended to do and it does it great.

I reviewed and considered several models and really glad I decided on this one. Some initial concerns were based on prior individuals mentioning problems and I have not noticed any issues. The only complaint is that messages are read and should be an option for read or not read. Apple play works great here.

I'm sure that this receiver works great. The demo in the store as well as the demo set up in the install area sounded awesome. The trouble is that my wife owns a Kia Sedona. Apparently, Kia makes their vehicle as incompatible with aftermarket sound equipment as possible. I could have had it installed, but none of the steering column controls would have been able to be used, nor would it be adaptable to any other vehicle functions. It would have been better to get a Bluetooth speaker and glue it to the dash. Now, since this review is not about Kia but really about Best Buy, you should know that their tech did not know any of this. My wife ordered, paid for, and within a week and a half, received each item: the receiver, a dash mount kit, an adapter cable and a fourth expensive item that I can't recall, and also had the install appointment scheduled. We would never have known the real issue had she not decided on a whim to stop in another Best Buy when she was out of town and discussed the equipment with someone there who actually did know the problem and was able to explain it. After some more discussing, the manager waived the restocking fee (which is something I have always felt was just thievery anyway), and said I could return everything since it wasn't even opened. The problem for me now, was that I gave my wife a $500 gift card in order to purchase the receiver. Now I'm stuck with a gift card to Best Buy, which is not really a bad thing, but I would have rather been able to take the money somewhere else. So, my 3 star review here is really not about the equipment, it more about the tech who should have known the issues. If you want to make a big purchase that needs extra pieces to "adapt" it or "make it compatible", I suggest you ask several "experts" before biting more than you can chew.

Great radio. Works good with android auto and CarPlay. Functionality is good also with the physical volume buttons at the top. Great sound too.

Bought this radio for an older car I just got for my daughter. I can't believe how great it is... It makes the original speakers int he car sound brand new! I thought I was going to have to buy speakers as well but with the sound system this radio has, I didn't. So the radio actually saved me money. I have a brand new basic Highlander and this radio is better then the one that came with my 2018 New Car! I highly recommend this radio. Thy guys at Best Buy who installed it were first class as well. I buy most of my electronics at Best Buy. Great Service!!!

My map app drops out often, volume control is awkward.

HUGE facelift and upgrade to our 2002 Audi A4 Quattro. Looks and sounds great, and self-installation was easier than expected.

Great look and easy use but the most important thing, the sound, is superb.
