I was looking for a receiver that would also interface with the apps on my phone directly - or through Bluetooth. This receiver does just that. Rather than having a data plan for my receiver, I use my phone to listen to Amazon, Pandora, Sirius, and Scrbd. The maps program that ports over from the phone is fantastic. The phone calls are clear, and making a hands free call is easy.

Does not have remote or navigation as stated on the website.

Bought this for my older Toyota. The unit installation was straight forward, I didn’t have much problems soldering. The unit powered up first time and there has not been any issue. Apple car play works perfectly I do not have an android phone to test android auto but I do not suspect that there will be any issues. One thing is you should buy an extension of the usb cable so make sure you have that ready. Also the backup camera function works great.

Installed this unit into a 2002 Toyota Celica. I needed to buy a bezel to fit around the unit to hide the gap. I use it for the Google Maps and iTune music. The unit will automatically start playing my iTunes when I plug in the USB cable. The only thing found lacking is the display brightness control. I can't seem to dim it down enough. I don't use it much for anything else. I also installed a back up camera.

My experience with this stereo has been interesting. I don’t hate it; but I don’t love it. The contrast and bright good enough in bright daylight. There is no dimming setting, so it’s blinding during night driving. The Interface is pretty easy, and also can be very intricate for those audiophiles.

Works great, the Best Buy technician was great with the install and communicating with the process. I needed a dashboard kit, camera and harness for the install on my 2001 Chevy Silverado. It has been over 1 year and the JVC has far exceeded my expectations. The large touch screen is perfect.

Screen is scratched didn’t notice till I got home, could’ve been installation or my kid’s touching it when I got home, so I didn’t say anything. Also don’t like that you can’t control volume from screen

I use it with my iphone through the apple car play. only complaint i have is that for some reason it disconnects and won’t connect to bluetooth either. It’s annoying that it has to be plugged in through a special usb outlet but the functionality of it is smooth and i enjoy it.

Great stereo for the price. Used mostly for apple car play. Can’t beat it
