Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my girlfriends second car which is a 2007 ford five hundred and it had the factory radio which didn't have a screen or allow you to connect an external device to it but this one is amazing and I love the fact that the USB connector is hard wired in so you dont need to worry about it coming unplugged after everything is back in place.

The only thing that’s an issue is when I make calls, my Spotify continues when I place the call and I have to pause it. Other than that, it is great.

Shuffle feature is no good. In order to shuffle all songs (from thumb drive), you have to click on song title, and play all songs, then shuffle all songs...if you turn shuffle off during a song, it won't play the rest of that album, it will go next song alphabetically on your entire thumb drive; and if you hit shuffle again it will go to next song. Horribly designed. Sound is good. Does NOT play dvds, even though description says it does. Also, it has an EXTERNAL bluetooth mic, even though description says internal.

It can be very bright at night though if using google maps, or other app with a light background.

great inexpensive android auto receiver

The device works great, and all the features are good. The screen could be better and cannot be visible on bright direct sunlight on the screen. Other than that I love it.

Couldn’t tell u how much I dreaded installing it myself since it was free with a radio purchase over $100. But really was easy. Can’t tell it wasn’t preinstalled at the factory

Love the features available and the ability to connect BT for an everyday drive or plug it in to use Android auto for maps on the screen. I wish you could dim the screen a bit more for nighttime driving but overall a great purchase.

Radio upgrade

I operate it by connecting to my iPhone as opposed to the Bluetooth connection and the sound is phenomenal compared to what I had before. I highly recommend this unit.

Looks beautiful in my ride, and compared to the stock radio, it’s a compliance changer. Truly worth the money and it wasn’t that much for the radio I got. I recommend this one. Great choice!!;)

The JVC stereo with CarPlay has been an awesome upgrade. I love can I can plug my phone into to the USB and play music or answer phone calls with the touchscreen.

Just a note for lexus owners with a premium stereo system: Look out for extra labor charges for the adapter and wiring.
