We bought another one because it did work and was trouble free for a few years. Don't expect appliances like these to last for years like they used to. Manufacturers are making these to only last a few years and if they go longer than that it's great. This is a good coffee maker and I would definitely recommend one. Don't forget to de-scale when needed or you will have problems.

I had one of the older Keurig's that was wide and took up a lot of space on the counter. This one is very compact, but yet the reservoir holds the same amount of water as my older one. This one looks much more streamlined on the counter. The only negative is that the needle is in a position where you can scrape or poke yourself on it when inserting or removing the K-cup if not careful.
