I bought this unit for its counter depth deminsions and great reviews. It satisfied all my needs and wants. This is a great unit!

Our new Kitchenaid refrigerator has been everything we anticipated. We love the superb lighting, very cold freezer, great ice maker and shelving. The Kitchenaid has more room than our last side by side. Veggies are staying fresher longer. So far we are pleased with our purchase.

Not only is it beautiful, it is functional. We love the shape of the ice from the icemaker. The refrigerator is quiet. Another bonus if the filter is located inside the fridge at the top. No more crawling around on the floor to change the water filter.

Love the sleek stainless counter depth look. Quiet. No problems and keeps everything cold/froze as expected.

Did a lot of research on cabinet depth refrigerators and this was one of the few that didn't have the freezer on the bottom (not a fan!). The lighting is so well placed and bright so you can easily find everything. Even though the cubic storage is slightly less than our last refrigerator, it is organized in a way that makes it feel more usable. My only complaint was the manufacturer over-filled the insulation in the doors so that it pushed out of the top right and left corners of the doors. Best Buy/Pacific Sales offered to replace the doors for us but we opted to get a "scratch and dent" discount instead and I used a utility knife to clean up the insulation so it is only noticeable if you look super close. Very satisfied with the customer service we received during the sale and after we had the issue. Thank you!

This is a really nice fridge and it Looks great in our kitchen. It makes a little more noise than our last one (also a KitchenAid) but that’s pretty minor. I love the feature that allows you to dispense a full glass of water with the touch of two buttons (instead of pressing the dispenser button the whole time, it fills up your glass with a specified number of ounces while you go about your other business).

My favorite feature is the ice and water on the outside. The shelves in the freezer are helpful for organizing. My least favorite is the stainless steel exterior because it smudges.

While the fridge seems to be cooling fine, it started falling apart after only a year. It started falling apart right after the warranty ended. it started with of the drawer fronts in the fridge. It snapped off and won't snap back on because the plastic part where it snaps in broke off. Then the SS finish on the front started showing streaks and stains that no cleaner has been able to remove. Then a basket in the freezer came off and when I went to put it back on it noticed the plastic piece that holds it up broke off completely, so there is no where for it to hang. Then then another basket came off, again with no where to hang it. With little freezer space and no part to order this is a huge disappointment. I'm sure the drawer front costs a fortune and the freezer can't be fixed. See Pics.

There’s a trade off for being a slimmer counter depth fit in relation to the lack of space that you. Using the rule of form over function I would say there are times I regret this fridge because of the smaller fridge raider capacity however it looks great operates great and saves a lot of space. Additionally the freezer size has a lot of compartment for easy storage and organizing.

super quiet (except when the ice loading which is expected), very constant temp., excellent lighting, very good rack and shelf design, could use 1-2 more cubic ft of refrigerator space as the fruit and veggie bins are a little small (make cabinet a little deeper)

The delivery was great. The next day was when I discovered the Ice maker. I purchased the KitchenAid because my KitchenAid had just died. I had my KitchenAid lasted 19 years and I had been so happy with it. The ice maker is unbelievable. Cannot believe Whirlpool let this out on the market. When ice is selected the maker starts grinding out the cubes. I do mean grinding. The ice shards start flying. The ice cubes are beyond small. They are so tiny they mostly just dilute any drinks they are added to. I have learned to hold the glass as close as possible to the top so there is less cleanup from shaved ice. Not sure who designed the new ice maker but felt that the unit has to be disassembled to turn off the ice maker. The 'old' maker I had only to lift the wire arm for turn off. This is something that I will be curious to know how many buyers are actually happy with this ice maker. I would guess anyone that has never owned an ice maker might think it was great just owning an ice maker. KitchenAid was the upper price but I had been so happy with my previous one, it was going to be worth the extra cost. Good news is that it is so bright inside both refrigerator and the freezer section. Delightful... Too bad the options were stainless steel or stainless steel.

This side by side counter depth has a lot of room inside. It makes me wonder where all that space was in my prior ones. It fits so well in my galley kitchen, and looks great too! Excellent ice maker!

Great price point and a well made appliance that is made in the United States of America.

I love the 36", makes sense and space effective . I had a 48" and this fridge is a lot easier up store. The water and ice works well and it's very quiet . The inside trays are easy to adjust and clean

Overall my experience was good. The ice maker was bad. Other than that everything was good.

So far, so good. Love the design of this fridge, really looks built in, and matches the rest of my Kitchen Aid appliances. Plenty of storage room in the door for smaller items.

Not a lot of options in the counter depth range, but I love the ice maker- the size of the cubes, their placement in the door, the fact that the whole maker will detach to fill a cooler- all pretty nice features. The meat/veggie storage is great- food lasts much longer than it did with our old Samsung. For a counter depth fridge- it feels like a lot of space.

It's smaller than I prefer however it fits in perfectly in the space. Works well and looks good.
