The sub seems to perform slightly better when providing bass for movie action scenes than it does for music, but I have no complaints with either use case (this may also be a product of the audio settings in my receiver rather than the sub itself). The fit and finish of the sub is on par with the price point.

Added this sub during this year's Black Friday event. Replaced a larger rebuilt sUb. Beat expectations. Very impressed at this price.

Good thump but need 2 for BIG sound Totally worth it!

I was previously using a passive sub. I can't believe the difference with this speaker. It completely changed my surround sound experience. It is the most dynamic improvement to my system.

this subwoofer is an excellent compiment to my pair of Klipsch RP-160M speakers. the combination provides high quality room filling sound. the bass response from the subwoofer meets all my expectations without having to resort to bass boost. boosting the bass just to see how it could perform, resulted in clear room shaking sound.

I bought this sub on sale, but it is well worth full price. The bass is clean and deep, but not overpowering. I currently have it set to 3/4 gain, because turned up it is too loud for my room. Even though it is a 10 in., it has enough power for my 12x12 room. The spun copper cone looks great too.

Great sub! would recommend over the sony and polk. I got the Klipsch bookself speakers first, although they sounded great, they needed some boom. Turned up half way it shakes my keyboard off my desk. Easy one cable LFP imput is nice and it still offers the bridging connection if you still have an old school receiver.

Great subwoofer for the price. Beats the $900 speeakercraft we replaced in our opinion.

The speaker is great for the price. It makes the light fixtures in my room rattle and has a great low-end tone. Went well with my definitive technology bookshelf speakers to finish off my surroundsound.

This subwoofer replaced our old Klipsch Reference 10 subwoofer that had stopped working after twelve years. Klipsch has made the replacement model smaller without sacrificing any of the quality sound that they are known for. Also, the subwoofer was mispriced on the shelf at Best Buy for a lower amount and they honored it.

I'm glad I didn't go with a less powerful model. I've used it more with my TV than for listening to music. The bass seems punchier and more room rattling than the JBL sub I have in another room that is at a similar price point. I keep the Klipsch volume at only about 25/30% or the bass gets too dominant in the mix. I was also interested in a 300 watt Polk sub, but I never got to hear it. I'm satisfied with the Klipsch. I didn't spend much time listening to more expensive models. It is definitely superior to the subs that come with most sound bars.

My old 10 year old Sony woofer had slowly played out over the last year. Didn't notice it right away. Once I connected this woofer I was amazed at the deep bass. I'm in a room about 20 x 15 so I needed to turn it down a lot. If you have a large room it will do the job with no problem. Overall I am very happy with the woofer.

Talk about great sound you’ll know the difference once you hear it plugged in . The difference is awesome and my husband who was in the music industry said he loved it . We played records we hadn’t heard in years an le felt like we were at a concert. Subwoofer made such a difference.

This subwoofer was more than I expected .... I connected it to my R15's very simply with the cords supplied and suddenly the room exploded in Bass.. BOOM, BOOM, BOOM... I would recommend this subwoofer to anyone looking to not break the bank but still have quality sound...

Love this sub unit. Paired with Klipsch tower speakers. Powerful lows. No distortion even at maximum volumes. Used in a 24x24 room. Plenty of clean, distortion free sound! Good controls on back. Auto on or manual toggle. Very happy with my purchase!!
