I really liked this KEVO BLUETOOTH DEADBOLT WOULD RECOMMEND THIS KEVO FOR ANYONE LOOKING FOR A BLUETOOTH KEY ENTRY

I bought this because I hate coming home with both hands filled with groceries or leaving the house in the morning with coffee cup and bag in one hand and fiddling with keys. The installation was pretty straight forward, and we were able to program our original lock's key to match the kevo so that we can also use the handle's lock if we want to. That being said, if my iphone turns off during the day (which is almost a daily issue because my battery runs out), the app turns off and in order to get the lock to open you have to pull your phone out, click on the kevo app, and unlock the door - which is almost as bad as fiddling with the keys. My partner has an android phone and his phone won't work, so he uses the fob thing and I am almost tempted to carry one around myself as it seems to be much more reliable than the phone app. That being said, I think it is an improvement and hope they can update it one day to open faster (currently takes about 5 seconds from the time you touch the lock), and to not be deactivated if your phone turns off.

Great device when dog walker cones when I am Away I just unlock from door for them. You need membership

It worked awesome for the first week, but on the second week, it unlocked itself twice due to delay in communicating with the wifi network.

sometimes when i walk up to door and touch it to unlock it is already unlocked and it locks, making me wonder when it unlocked itself

I love it... it's convenient it's pretty cool to when you have company coming over as well

Difficult to set up and rarely works with my iPhone. Works OK with the supplied fob.

At first I didn't like it but then an update came out for the lock and now it works great.

After researching, and upon recommendations from two folks, I made this purchase.

Got the Kevo deadbolt shortly after it was offered on BestBuy.com. Installed pretty much like any other deadbolt, you just have to make sure the antenna is placed correctly and not pinched. I have 3 people in the house (including myself) with iPhone 5s's and everybody had major problems getting the lock to work as it should. I've called Kevo support and literally taken the lock apart piece by piece to check for problems and put it back together. When we lock the door, we have to take out our phone and make sure the Kevo app is running in the foreground, put it 2 inches away from the lock and sometimes it will work. The whole reason for getting this lock for me was to leave my phone and keys in my pocket and unlock it. Well, that doesn't happen. Sometimes it will even lock itself when we have entered the room after having unlocked it with the key. This is the most expensive dead bolt you'll ever buy. It will basically quit working and make you use your key anyways. Do not recommend buying this lock, you'll be disappointed.
