At the sale price point its worth it! I finally have my 4k tv with hdr! I have other 4k tvs but i jumped on the band wagon before hdr was mentioned.. Smh! It's darker i tested it out with 4k streaming devices and it looks amazing! The only downside is that the menu interface is weird! And no clear instructions! I was looking for the input button.. It was a different symbol on the top of the remote! There are no buttons.. So no remote equals no tv!

Got this tv for around $300. The OS is super simple. Quick and easy set up. Color looks great, lots of ways affect picture through settings to get the look you want. Sound is good. I'm not a fan of the stand, but that's my personal taste. It doesn't have the hbo app but that's not the tvs fault. The refresh rate is NOT actually 120 but it is a simulated 120, however, with game mode it's much better than 60 hz. No issue with the tv after a month and a half.

I enjoy a GOOD picture. With a new LG 65" OLED my expectations for this inexpensive set were modest. But, to my surprise at literally less than 1/10th the price of the bigger OLED it is NOT 1/10th the TV. The overall picture is much better than the 10 year old and literally 6 times the cost of a 2008 Sony LED it replaced. Good black levels. About the only modest downside is limited picture adjustment. Not nearly as perhaps too many settings on the OLED. Expert bright and Expert dark proved generally best. Overall, at Best Buy's great sales price it is an excellent TV. Wifi allows those who watch Netflix to use it. Recommended.

This LG 43' Smart TV was purchased at a very reasonable price for a 4K smart TV. The picture is very crisp and clear and the sound is very good. You do have to play around with the settings to get the picture just the way you want it. Out of the box, the picture clarity might not be what you would like, but once you adjust the settings, it gives you a good picture. The TV is not too big or too small, perfect for my needs. As mentioned, the price is very good for a 4K TV.

Needed new TV quick. Looked online for best priced 43" TV. BestBuy was hands down the winner. Bought the extended warranty also. That brought the price up to about what every others sale price was. Plus free shipping to boot. Delivered to door in a few days. I like LG's TVs and this was exactly what I was looking for. Easy set up and great picture after a few adjustments. Hope it lasts longer than the one it is replacing. Turned out one led went out and the whole panel shut down.

We bought this TV to replace a 24" 720p tv in our master bedroom. The new tv was mounted to the wall near the ceiling and with the 43" screen provides a much better viewing experience than our old set. I believe this is a great tv for the price. The picture is sharp and has good shadow detail for a LED backlit screen. After some small adjustments to the factory picture settings it produces an enjoyable watching experience. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the picture is not as bright as I am used to compared with my 65" OLED but it is always absolutely watchable.

Brilliant picture, Brilliant size and the price makes this a brilliant value. LG is amazing! Purchased as a gift to my dad who is somewhat shy technologically but LG makes set up easy and their products are top notch. Picture quality is sharp, vibrant and beautifully bright. Would recommend this to anyone who wants the high end quality of a more expensive tv at a fraction of the cost. 2 thumbs up

Best 43” 4K Smart TV for the money

I’m very happy with this TV. I previously owned a “dumb” HD tv by Insignia and actually went in to purchase the 43” Insignia 4K smart tv as I was very satisfied with my previous one. However, I noticed this LG a couple tv’s over and I was blown away by the picture quality. I’m not a super tech guy, I don’t really know much about specs and a Best Buy employee came over and explained a few of the pluses and minuses of both and I chose the LG. The picture was on par with 43” class TV’s costing $100+ more and it was only $50 more then the comparable Insignia. Set up did take a few minutes as you can customize a ton of of things, like way outside my knowledge range, lol, but I was impressed nonetheless. Connecting to WiFi was very fast, and I put a few apps on like Redbox and YouTube and they downloaded so fast I didn’t even notice they were done because it was lightning fast. Picture quality is amazing, if your a YouTube fan, this on one of your favorites and you’ll be surprised at the color and clarity; I have an iPhone X which has between 1080 & 4K resolution I think and the picture is much clearer on the TV. I paid $329 for mine and I really doubt there is a better TV, not just for the money

After trying a 32" Vizio E-series (dim, dull picture), and a 43" 4K curved Samsung (terrible viewing angle if you not looking at it straight on). I settled on this LG. I already have last years model in my master bedroom so after trying those 2 TV's I bought this one. Its 120Hz sports look great, movies look pretty good with HDR on and its got a great viewing angle! With the quick start feature its up and playing within 1-2 seconds. The Samsung was a bit brighter, but overall this fits my needs much better for a TV that I am going to look at from different angles alot. For $400 you can't go wrong with this one. It plays many of my .mkv movies I have on my NAS, its got Amazon video, and lots of other features. Be nice it it was just a touch brighter but good enough for the space its in. It also has great sound, best of any I looked at.

All of my other flat screens are Samsung buty decided to roll the dice and try the LG as we have had success with the brand in our business and the model I bought was on sale and matched up perfectly to the more expensive Samsung. Once i got used to the settings function I was a happy camper. If you havent owned an LG prior you might find set up a little cumbersome but will get it pretty quickly. I dont think the out of the box picture is acceptable most because the energy saver is turned on. Turn it off and most people will be done with adjusting. There is a review on here that outlines more detailed manual settings. I went through them and the picture is really outstanding once those are set. Have had set now for a couple of weeks and continue to be very happy. Finally got around to setting up Smart TV and Computer access. Once again it takes a little bit of looking around but once its set it is easy to use. Once TV was set up the way i want it it is 5 Stars. Rated 4 Stars because buyers who have not set up sophisticated TV's before may have some temporary issues.

Best quality small 4k tv out there. Cross shopped this with what Samsung has to offer and picture quality just seemed like it popped better. We mainly use this tv for Netflix, YouTube and phone mirroring near the dinner table. I know I know, no electronics at the dinner table, but this way we can watch a movie together as a family and eat, or the kids have a presentation they can show us, or just have it flip through pictures. It's pretty seamless streaming from an Android phone on the same WiFi network, but the Apple products seem to have issues, i.e. needs an actual Chromecast to cast to instead of the built in LG mirroring software. For less than an Xbox, this tv has definitely impressed me. It's also our first LG TV!

Very easy to set up. I love the Smart Tv component of this. Can toggle back and forth quickly and easily between Tv, Netflix, game console, etc. The picture is great. The only reason I gave this a 4 is because my husband feels that the HD could be better, but I'm satisfied!

Great clear picture quality and wonderful color contrast especially for the price!. Looks better than the 65" Samsung we have, in fact i'm thinking about replacing that Samsung with a LG TV. Also has good apps and is easy to set up and use.

The picture on this tv is very good especially when using the HDR mode. The smart tv portion of this tv is one of the best I've used. The apps open very quickly even when switching between them. (Which is a problem I've had with oter brands like Samsung and Sony) speakers on this tv are pretty decent. I had a cheap sound bar on my previous tv and haven't had to use it with this one. There are also a lot of customizable features. For someone like me who likes to tinker with settings I have been very happy to find that if there is a feature I want to change I can. For example i hate how on some TV's when you turn the volume up it either doesn't get noticeably louder or it gets considerably louder. With this TV you can change how high the volume will go between levels. Overall good TV. I am happy with it.

We were looking for a replacement for an older 1080p Samsung we've had for years. This was below the price range we were looking at(feels like a much nicer product) and absolutely blew away our expectations. The smart features like MiraCast and Widi support as well as all the Movie apps are absolutely great. The speakers actually have some really good low end and work well for movies and even music. The picture is phenomenal in its native resolution and has some nice modes for different viewing tastes. This is by far nicer in every way than our outgoing TV that cost us $1700. The only downside is the feet are kinda flimsy but make absolutely no difference if you are wall mounting it. I will probably purchase 2 more of these and use them as monitors they are that good!

For whatever the reason, Best Buy doesn’t advertise this as a HDR 10 tv but it is. I checked with the manufacturer and and then asked Best Buy why it isn’t advertised as such, and said they were going to update the info. The price is significantly lower than others in its class and is just as good as a Samsung. Highly recomended.

The clarity of the picture on this TV is great. It was fairly simple to set up. My only complaint is that some movie channels are not bright enough. I don't know if it's the TV or if it is my cable company.

I've had this TV for a few weeks now and absolutely love it. The picture quality is great and the price was unbeatable. I was lucky enough to get it on sale and have no regrets. I don't really have anything negative to say about this TV, it has a really great picture and a lot of built-in apps. I gave this TV 4 out of 5 stars do to a couple little picky things, mostly because of it being the lower end model. This particular TV model doesn't have the HBO Go/Now Apps available. It also doesn't have Spotify, which HBO and Spotify apps are available on the higher end models. The WebOS 3.5 seems to work pretty smooth and well. There are still many apps available to choose from in the LG Content Store. This model doesn't support the LG Magic Remote, but the standard remote that comes with it works quite well.

I bought this TV Super bowl Sunday because my 8 year old developed horizontal lines the night before. I did not research this TV and bought on the basis of price and size. Out of box the picture was not to bad and set up was easy. During the the week I tweaked the video and audio settings and am happy with the results. During the week I hung it up on the wall where the old Samsung was and hooked up the surround I had to buy a optical to analog converter to use my receiver. Also hooked up antenna for local stations. The wireless found and connected to my network with no problem. This is a great TV for the money and has a lot of nice features.
