Easy to set up, great picture quality and very easy to use. The quality, size and price cannot be beat. This TV with ChromeCast is better than a smart TV where you are limited to the apps installed. With ChromeCast you are only limited to what what your device can do and has ChromeCast installed in the program/app being used. Which just about all movie and video programs have the casting ability.

Great 4K TV w/ HDR functionality

This model is a great value if you are looking for a smaller 4K TV with HDR. I was a little nervous about this model when I opened the box because the TV's plastic seems super cheap, but once I got it on the wall and turned it on it's screen looked great. You'll need to tinker with the color a bit to get things looking their best, but nothing too laborsome. I mostly bought this for the Smart TV capabilities and really like LG's WebOS 3.0/3.5 interface. It's easy to navigate and apps like Netflix and YouTube work flawlessly. I highly recommend getting the 4K Netflix streaming package with a TV like this. LG Has become a TV brand that I really trust.

    Best Deal Ever

We got a super deal on the black Friday weekend. I like everything about this TV: It's size, the picture and WebOs. In another review i read about the YouTube app no longer being part of the package, but the browser works well enough to make this a non-issue, since you can save a shortcut right next to the other apps like Amazon Prime Video and Netflix. This is the only thing I didn't like (an other reviewer already pointed that out as well): The default image settings are by far not working as well as my previous LG 1080 p TV's. To adjust them, you have to navigate into a whole other settings menu before you can turn off the "energy saving" setting that then will give you also the finer controls over brightness, backlight, color, contrast, sharpness etc. That takes a lot of time to fine tune, especially because there is no printed manual included. Some settings are "grayed out" and you never know why... If you plan to hook up the TV to your existing analog sound system, be prepared to buy 1. a digitial optical audio out cable and 2. a digital to analog audio converter box. The one sold at BestBuy works really well. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it!

All of my other flat screens are Samsung buty decided to roll the dice and try the LG as we have had success with the brand in our business and the model I bought was on sale and matched up perfectly to the more expensive Samsung. Once i got used to the settings function I was a happy camper. If you havent owned an LG prior you might find set up a little cumbersome but will get it pretty quickly. I dont think the out of the box picture is acceptable most because the energy saver is turned on. Turn it off and most people will be done with adjusting. There is a review on here that outlines more detailed manual settings. I went through them and the picture is really outstanding once those are set. Have had set now for a couple of weeks and continue to be very happy. Finally got around to setting up Smart TV and Computer access. Once again it takes a little bit of looking around but once its set it is easy to use. Once TV was set up the way i want it it is 5 Stars. Rated 4 Stars because buyers who have not set up sophisticated TV's before may have some temporary issues.

A Great TV On Sale At $349 - Awsome At $299!

I bought this TV at the beginning of May, 2018 as a replacement for an old 32"Philips 720p set in the bedroom that died. The price had been lowered from $399.00 to $249.99, in the weekly ad flyer, on line, so I went to my local Best Buy and bought it on Tuesday. About 10 days later the price was reduced to 329.99. so I got $20.00 beck in a price match. at the store, Another 10 days later, the price was reduced down to $299.99, so I was able to get $30.00 refunded The TV was extremely easy to set up. The two legs went on easily with two screws each, and the power cord easily plugged into the back of the set. I plugged the Comcast/Xfinity X1 cable box into HDMI input #1, and the Sony Blu-ray player to HDMI input #2, both with the new HDMI version 2 cables, able to carry 4K UHD HDR signals. The longest part of the setup was a call to Comcast to get my X1 remote control unit synched to control the TVs power, volume and channel changing functions. The LG TVs have a nice feature in the on-screen menu that allows the owner to enter in names to the on-screen legends for the HDMI inputs. So my HDMI #1 input is now labeled "Comcast," and HDMI #2 is labeled "Sony Blu-ray Player." At first, I was a bit disappointed in the brightness of the set. It seemed much darker then the top-of-the-line models from Sony, Samsung, and yes, even LG. But reading through the Q&A's on this TV's webpage, on bestbuy.com, I found out that through some answers to questions about the TV, that the brightness level could be greatly increased by turning off the energy saving mode, in the on-screen adjustments. With some additional tweaks of the color, tint, brightness and sharpness levels, the TV now has deep, rich colors, extreme sharpness and very natural skin tones, especially on "live" shows, such as news and late night talk/comedy shows like Kimmel and Colbert. Via the on-screen menu controls, I was able to change the audio quality to pump up a little more bass, and it sounds wonderfully crisp and low, especially in a moderate sized bedroom. I don't think I'll need to buy a sound bar to improve the sound This TV is virtually the same width as the armoire chest-of-drawers that it sits on, and the 43" screen seems so much larger than my old 32' unit. Watching it while stretched out on the bed, the experience is much like watching my LG 55" set in the living room, with the closer viewing distance. With proper adjustments, this is an awesome set, for the bedroom, or even as a living room set. For $299.99, (or, maybe even less) this mid-range LG 43 inch set delivers a outstanding picture and great sound at a very affordable price. Do check this set out while cross-shopping Sony and Samsung. It's an awesome set at a price that's just around the lower quality budget brands such as Hitachi, Sanyo, RCA or Magnavox.

The picture on this tv is very good especially when using the HDR mode. The smart tv portion of this tv is one of the best I've used. The apps open very quickly even when switching between them. (Which is a problem I've had with oter brands like Samsung and Sony) speakers on this tv are pretty decent. I had a cheap sound bar on my previous tv and haven't had to use it with this one. There are also a lot of customizable features. For someone like me who likes to tinker with settings I have been very happy to find that if there is a feature I want to change I can. For example i hate how on some TV's when you turn the volume up it either doesn't get noticeably louder or it gets considerably louder. With this TV you can change how high the volume will go between levels. Overall good TV. I am happy with it.

For whatever the reason, Best Buy doesn’t advertise this as a HDR 10 tv but it is. I checked with the manufacturer and and then asked Best Buy why it isn’t advertised as such, and said they were going to update the info. The price is significantly lower than others in its class and is just as good as a Samsung. Highly recomended.

For a 4K TV, this is not very expensive at all. It has many apps built in, Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, WWE Network, and more. You can control this TV with your phone, or even mirror your phone's display to the TV. The picture quality is great, and the settings really allow you to make this TV your own. I actually bought this TV to accompany my new PlayStation 4 Pro. Despite what the Best Buy website says, this television DOES have HDR, it's just called "Active HDR". This feature works great, and kicks in automatically when I pop in an HDR compatible game. The sound quality is okay for me in my smaller bedroom, but if this is going in your living room, you might need a soundbar or some other speaker setup.

The TV delivers beautiful image and the smart features are awesome that work like a charm. Setting the TV up was a breeze. Took less than 30 minutes to set up internet connection, Netflix, HULU, YouTube, and Amazon prime video. I'm in love with this TV, especially for the price I paid. The wall mount I used is heavy duty as well. Took a while to install since i did not have a stud finder. Over all its holding up strong and it does not show signs of tilting. I love the set up. The TV offers great image quality and it is not slow to connect to the internet once turned on. The sound quality is really good as well. Cant go wrong with an LG :).

Bought this TV as a house warming present for our daughter. I did some online research ahead of time, and spoke with a knowledgeable "Geek" in one of the stores, leading to my decision to by an LG TV. The picture is crisp, my daughter is thrilled about watching Netflix on her big screen instead of her laptop; and this TV looks good! Setting it up was fairly easy. Now my husband wants to upgrade our older model Sony Brava to an LG. Only thing I am not totally thrilled about is the stand of the TV, it's actually 2 "feet" on each side that seem very small to support the TV. If you have children I'd recommend mounting it on the wall instead.

My family and I are really enjoying this TV. My last TV was about 8 years old. It was a Vizio. One day it just stopped working. It didn't make much sense to repair a TV that old that would cost just as much (if not more) than a new TV. I shopped around and Best Buy had the best deal. I ordered it online and it was delivered to my home in 2-3 days. Picture quality is great. Plus, it's a Smart TV. So it has a ton of functions that I haven't even discovered yet. It's slimmer than my old TV. I didn't realize how bulky the old one was until we set this one up on the mantle. Very satisfied with my purchase!

This is my second 43" LG and is even better than the model 43UH6030 we bought last year. I find that the picture in the 43UJ6300's standard mode is excellent for my needs and really didn't require much tweaking. The IPS panel affords a wide viewing angle there are enough options in screen type(vivid, standard, game, Cinema, HDR Effect) to likely please everyone and all modes can be adjusted to user preference if desired. The Web OS 3.5 interface works very well. We subscribe to Netflix which offers a great amount of 4K and 4K HDR programming which takes advantage of this TV's capabilities. The TV will up-convert standard TV images to close to 4K also. There is an option to connect to the Internet via Wi-Fi but I chose to run a Cat 5 Cable to the network input on the TV. Works great! For a very reasonable price this TV offers a great picture, decent sound and a lot of technology. I'm definitely an LG fan...

Gave this TV to my parents for Christmas so they could get Netflix and Hulu. Very easy to use interface and great picture quality. The only issue to consider for me was they have changed the design of a lot of these TVs to having legs on the bottom outside edges of the TV now instead of the large center base that many had for years. I'm assuming thats for stability since these TVs are getting so light now. Make sure your TV will fit on your stand.

We bought this TV to replace a 24" 720p tv in our master bedroom. The new tv was mounted to the wall near the ceiling and with the 43" screen provides a much better viewing experience than our old set. I believe this is a great tv for the price. The picture is sharp and has good shadow detail for a LED backlit screen. After some small adjustments to the factory picture settings it produces an enjoyable watching experience. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is the picture is not as bright as I am used to compared with my 65" OLED but it is always absolutely watchable.

We bought this TV to replace are secondary tv in a bedroom. We don't always want to watch the same thing so this tv gets some use. LG made this TV at a nice price point for a 43" 4K TV, the set up was easy, but the picture was kind of dark. Correcting the dark picture was as simple as changing the energy saving setting. My wife did not think we needed a 4k Tv until she saw the picture, now she likes the upgrade over the previous TV.

Best 43” 4K Smart TV for the money

I’m very happy with this TV. I previously owned a “dumb” HD tv by Insignia and actually went in to purchase the 43” Insignia 4K smart tv as I was very satisfied with my previous one. However, I noticed this LG a couple tv’s over and I was blown away by the picture quality. I’m not a super tech guy, I don’t really know much about specs and a Best Buy employee came over and explained a few of the pluses and minuses of both and I chose the LG. The picture was on par with 43” class TV’s costing $100+ more and it was only $50 more then the comparable Insignia. Set up did take a few minutes as you can customize a ton of of things, like way outside my knowledge range, lol, but I was impressed nonetheless. Connecting to WiFi was very fast, and I put a few apps on like Redbox and YouTube and they downloaded so fast I didn’t even notice they were done because it was lightning fast. Picture quality is amazing, if your a YouTube fan, this on one of your favorites and you’ll be surprised at the color and clarity; I have an iPhone X which has between 1080 & 4K resolution I think and the picture is much clearer on the TV. I paid $329 for mine and I really doubt there is a better TV, not just for the money

At the sale price point its worth it! I finally have my 4k tv with hdr! I have other 4k tvs but i jumped on the band wagon before hdr was mentioned.. Smh! It's darker i tested it out with 4k streaming devices and it looks amazing! The only downside is that the menu interface is weird! And no clear instructions! I was looking for the input button.. It was a different symbol on the top of the remote! There are no buttons.. So no remote equals no tv!
