I am extremely happy with this LifeProof case. I have had LifeProof cases in the past but this one is the best. It is slim, easy to handle, all phone controls work very well. If you are looking for a quality case that will protect your phone from drops and the elements this is the one.

I bought this for my husband's new iPhone 8. I loved the idea of full phone protection from dropping, screen breaking, getting wet, snow, etc. I was a little concerned that the full front cover would not recognize the fingerprint log in. I am so happy that there is no problem with fingerprint recognition. The case is also a lot thinner than the otter cases. He carries it in his front pocket and doesnt have to worry about the screen getting scratched, or broken. I also like that this case makes his phone waterproof. The plastic front cover does not take away from the screen brightness or clarity. I think this is a perfect case for those who do not want to mess with screen protectors and want their phone fully protected. You simply put your phone in this case and snap it closed and your phone is fully protected!!

This life proof case is exactly as described. The color is fine. I purchased it because the price was right. Easy to put on the phone. Protects well. Dropped the phone in a huge snow pile, no damage. Good purchase.

It protects the phone well. Nice color too, I’ve gotten tons of compliments. One major con is that if you do happen to get the phone wet you have to really wait till it dies. The water lingers where the microphone is at causing people not being able to hear you.

A bit disappointing that Lifeproof, although they knew the SE 2020 was coming, didn't bother to create a FRE made for it, especially at this price point. Yes, there was the coronavirus, but Apple was talking about the coming of this phone long before the coronavirus hit. So, on to how it works. I've been using this specific type of case for about 8 years, but I think it was named FRE over the last five years or so. I can't tell you how many times I've dropped my phone over the years and thought "oh no", but the case SAVED the phone. As long as you have the case on right and sealed properly, it is absolutely water resistant. Here is what I have noticed over the past two years of using this case though. The clear face is not as scratch resistant as it once was. I have only had this case for not quite three weeks and have dropped the phone a couple of times, nothing crazy or out of the ordinary, there are already two gouges from just this regular use. Also, the parts of the case that cover the buttons (Ie volume) have had epic fails. I actually had to return a case to them within one year of use because of this. Lifeproof is REALLY great about replacing their cases though. You pay the shipping, but that's it, they send a brand new case. Over the years, I have had to do this three times and each time the same thing. I've had no problems with customer service. To conclude, I can say honestly say that up until the last two years, I felt wholeheartedly that the case was definitely worth the price. Even though the case is, in my opinion, the best of its type on the market, I feel Lifeproof has taken its customers a bit forgranted. They did not bother to create a new case for the new SE (using old 7/8 cases) and the color choices (REALLY disappointed in the color choices for this case) are terrible.

I have purchased several of these life proof FRE cases for myself and family members over the years! I love the fact that I don’t have to worry about water getting to my phone and we have all dropped our phones plenty of times and never had an issue with phone damage with these cases! The reason(s) I gave four stars instead of five is because the case is totally encased so you do lose a little of the effects of touching the actual screen but the protection it gives is worth it. The other thing is that I don’t like how I have to keep buying new cases every time the phone design changes, but that’s not really life proof’s fault...maybe they could allow loyal life proof users a substantial discount if they repurchase the same case with the new design?!?

I have always had life proof cases on my iphones. This one is the same quality as others. The only thing life proof needs to work on is when I talk on the phone sometimes people can’t hear me.

For the level of protection provided, great case, especially if on sale. Not overly bulky but definitely not the slimist case. I water tested case for 30 minutes, approx one foot under water and not one drop leaked.

I ordered not knowing if the aqua/"coral" would go with the rose gold iPhone 7, but it looks seamless! Some of the models have colors with more of a punch that just don't work. More importantly, the phone is entirely covered for total waterproof security and the buttons and touchscreen are surprisingly easy to work with compared to others I've used. The case is lightweight and not bulky at all. It snaps apart fairly quickly and doesn't drive you crazy opening and closing and charging port cover that's near impossible to open. Great buy for the brand and got at an awesome sale price for the holidays.

I've had 4 previous LifeProof products in years past, and they were all great. These new models (since Otterbox took over the company) are not at all what they used to be. Quality has dropped dramatically. I'll list my pros and cons for this specific case below, however, I will never purchase another LifeProof product again. iPhone 7 LifeProof FrÊ Pros •Looks good •Fairly lightweight & slim •Lots of color options Cons •Very cheap plastic •Sharp corners/edges that are uncomfortable and jagged against fingers & hands •NOT as water-resistant as claimed •Built in screen protector is very low quality (it doesn't sit flush against the device so you can feel it when you press the screen, screen is now less responsive, and visually it's not completely clear; it's very low quality and has a grainy rainbow effect) •Case has gaps in different places all around and doesn't properly close in each area •WAY too expensive for what you're getting. Absolutely NOT worth the price •Extremely uncomfortable and sharp edges around TouchID sensor •Because the plastic is so bad and cheaply produced, I definitely wouldn't trust this to protect much at all in a drop scenario. And even if it does protect the device inside, the plastic is so cheap that the case will be ruined and damaged. So it may save your device, but you may still be out a case that costs in the $100 range. Not worth it and not cost effective. I dunno.. these are not anywhere near the quality of the old LifeProof products. I'm still within the return window, so I'm pretty sure I'll be returning this later on this evening.

Perfect waterproof/tough case for my phone. This case hold up very well to rough use and weather. It seems as though Lifeproof has upgraded the case to avoid to typical speaker/hearing issue normally present with past models. I have owned 2 different types of this case for previous phones and people have complained of not being able to hear me clearly on the other end basically going in and out of clarity. I have had this one for a little while now and no issues at all with clarity.

This product performs amazing protection for your phone. It can be dropped without damage to screen or phone. It provides water tight protection to the phone. It allows the selections on screen to work flawlessly. As a minor drawback I could neither hear what any one said on the phone nor could they hear me. For that reason the phone app was useless to me. Had I been using blue tooth earphones or headset it probably would have been fine. It worked well in my car though the blue tooth connection.

I have had 5 cases for my iphone. It works great. I have drop my iphone in toilet twice and the phone never got wet and still works months after falling in water. Drop on concrete and it stills works. Great product

I love my LifeProof case, especially since I am outside a lot, and it can get wet without any concern. The only thing that can be iffy is the sound quality when you're on the phone or making a call through FaceTime. Sometimes it mutes the sound down a bit. However, I don't care. I still love it. I babysit in the summer, and we go to the pool a lot, and this case is great because I can take it into the pool and underwater! I've taken underwater photos and videos with the kids. It's expensive but definitely worth the price.

I ordered this iPhone case because it is waterproof and also drop resistant. I have always purchased lifeproof cases for every iPhone I have ever purchased and always been very satisfied with how well it protected my phone. It might be more expensive than other cases, but it’s worth the investment. Especially if you live a very active lifestyle, outdoors, or just rough on iPhones. I tend to be rough on ihones as I am always dropping them.
