Must have for high speed internet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We have 100+ mbps inter speed but our old "n" router oy had a 2.4 ghz signal. I was maxing out at 25mbps. I purchased this ac router for the 5ghz band that it offers. All newer devices will pick up the 5ghz signal for optimal performace and old devices connect to the 2ghz signal. The only drawback of the 5ghz (reason why it's not 5 stars) is the signal range is not as large as the 2.4ghz. That is not this routers fault, all routers suffer from this.

It automatically checks for firmware update upon first time setup. Really impressed. Another impressive thing was that you can give more importance to your important devices. Really handy feature to have. Very reliable produce.
